How to Work From Home and Make Money in 2017: 13 Proven Home-Based Businesses You Can Start Today (Work from Home Series: Book 1) review [Book]  2017-10-13 21:17

Sam Kerns is a handsome serial entrepreneur who has spent the past 20 years writing about little business issues, opportunities: he loves teaching people how to work for themselves and pursue their own dreams. He is proving this in this, his first publication HOW TO WORK FROM HOME in what doubtless will be an ongoing series, so successful is he in communicating his experience and ideas. He opens his book by sharing his private experiences: ‘When I hit my mid-twenties, I decided I no longer wanted to work for other people. I was the first person in my family to venture out on my own, so I had no instruction in how to go about starting my own business. I just knew I was tired of going to the office every day and slaving away for someone else’s benefit. I had ideas of my own and a lot of things I wanted to accomplish, and I knew that as long as I worked for someone else, my plans would have to stay on hold. So for years, I trudged along and played the office politics. I worked in a job I barely tolerated, and came home too exhausted to pursue my own dreams. But then one day I woke up. I was working as a sales representative for a window covering manufacturing business, and as part of my job, I traveled the state selling to and servicing retail window covering companies. My lifestyle consisted of staying in cheap hotels, eating a diet of quick food, and being away from mates and family for long stretches of time. I was considered lucky because I had a amazing salary, a company car, and certain freedoms that a lot of employees don’t have. For example, as long as I met my sales quotas, I was able to set my own hours. But I was miserable.’Now that we feel we know Sam we are ready for his facts and ideas about working from home. These he lists in categories: Online home based business ideas (rich in media ideas), Offline home-based business (eg, ‘the one business idea that you really can create cash in your sleep’ is especially fascinating), and he even adds The Ultimate Passive Income – ‘What if I told you that you could build a business by renting out your home or apartment? And that you don’t even need to own it in order to rent it out and create a amazing income? Sounds too amazing to be true, right? But with the advent of the sharing economy, a lot of people are bypassing the corporate globe of hotels and motels and booking directly with people who rent out rooms in their house for a fee. The Industry leader is Airbnb, which boasts over a million listings in 190 countries. The premise is this: anyone can rent an additional room in their home or apartment, or they can rent their entire home while on vacation.’ Then he even suggests becoming a Cleaning Service – and that sounds very reasonable!Entertaining to read, full of intelligent ideas and stimuli, Sam Kearns is a guy you wish to read and follow. In this book, the author reveals some of the myths about working from home and thinking riches will come without work. The emphasis of the book is--there's cash to be made, but not without work and in some cases, a small capital is t only does he explain the ins and outs of online working at home, he gives an overview of working off-line at home and making money. Everything a person needs to know is in there--including cautions to know state tax laws, registering a domain and obtaining product e chapters are categorized in a clear coherent manner and the book is simple to read. He provides links to just about everything he discusses, from free www services to video links to aid in making a decision.Overall, he provides a amazing deal of info in an abbreviated book that won't take a lifetime to read or understand.I received a free copy of this book for an unbiased review.

Unfortunately, you never know what you're going to obtain here on Amazon. As an author here myself, I am always thrilled to search others who actually care about their audience and write for them in a helpful way. This book is well-organized, well-edited and simple to read. It even covers trying out renting your house out with Airbnb! I didn't see Uber in there, but that's not exactly making cash from home (still, it's not in a cubicle farm) :-) Amazing read!

I've read a lot of "work from home" books and reports; this one is by far the best. It doesn't just give you a laundry list of all kinds of businesses you could begin from home. You'll obtain 10 solid, thoroughly researched business models with detailed info about what's really involved. Sam tells you like it is: To be successful, you need to be amazing at something, or have enough passion to be willing to learn, and then you have to place in some serious work. None of the businesses he describes will create you an overnight millionaire, but they all have real cash making potential. If one or more of the businesses included in this book sound interesting to you, it will support you create the decision whether it's right for you or not, saving you a lot of time and frustration. Every business idea comes with pros and cons, a step-by-step explanation how to begin and run it, and links to free and very low cost resources to support you hold the startup costs as low as e book is very well organized, and the content presented in a clear, simple to read way. I recommend it to anybody toying with an idea of starting a home-based business. Even if none of the business models presented here appeals to you, you will obtain a clear understanding of what it really takes to begin *any* profitable business from home.Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Amazing thing it didn't cost too much as it doesn't really have much information. This is a case where the author wants you to buy other books to obtain the rest of the information. There is detailed information on being a virtual assistant so if this is something you are interested in then this book is for you. For any other work from home ideas, look for another book by a various author that has more information.

I am VERY PLEASED with this e author dives into several ideas on how to work from home, some I'd consider and some I wouldn't, but all of them worth om writing e-books to selling meal to buying vending machines and everything in between. Lots of amazing ideas in here. The ones I'd never consider I read about anyway because I came to respect his information. I was amazed that he provided good, solid info about how to do each of his idea in particular, I really liked and now I'm focusing on learning more about it. So, this book helped narrow my focus and I'm off to learn more about that rns' book is written in an uplifting and hopeful style, so after having read it, I feel inspired to test fresh things and learn more. Not poor for an evening with an e-book.

I’m about halfway through this book and a bit disappointed. It definitely has more info on some of the online home based businesses than other material I’ve read, but I’m quite disappointed with the writing quality. This guy is supposed to be a professional writer and is giving hints on how to produce quality work, yet he fails to follow his own advice. This book is fraught with grammatical and spelling errors throughout - hardly the consummate expert.

Can I Freeze It?: How to Use the Most Versatile Appliance in Your Kitchen review [Book]  2018-3-29 18:1

i was very disappointed in this book, and i think the title is to blame for being misleading. It is called "Can I freeze it?" and i assumed from this that it would give lists of which foods freeze well and which don't. I was looking for this information.Unfortunately the book only covers this in about one page, and mentions only a handful of foods (and then, rather sloppily. Eg she says you can easily puree watermelon and freeze it. But what about actual watermelon? that isn't answered. also, she talks about making raw hamburgers and freezing them, but does not say whether making cooked hamburgers and freezing them would work as well). The rest of the book is recipes.I would not have bought it if I had known this. If anyone knows of a amazing book which will list lots of foods and whether you can freeze them, please post here!

Can I Freeze It?: How to Use the Most Versatile Appliance in Your Kitchen review [Book]  2018-3-29 18:1

I probably have more than 100 cookbooks, but this one will be kept in the kitchen. The freezer is the one mystery appliance left in my kitchen and I'd been searching for months for amazing tutorials to using the freezer and cooking from the freezer. The Once-A-Month Meals books were helpful with menus but they weren't specific enough about the process of taking meal from hot to cold and back to hot. It sounds simple, but I spent plenty of nights delaying dinner by 45 mins to cook the center of a dish. Thrilled with this book!

At last! The do's and don'ts of freezing anything have finally been de-mystified. This book takes center scene in my kitchen library - it is an essential kitchen tool that everyone should have. Who knew!

Can I Freeze It?: How to Use the Most Versatile Appliance in Your Kitchen review [Book]  2018-3-29 18:1

As previously stated, the title is misleading. The book never FULLY answers the question which it ask in the title. The chapter "perfect freezing every time" is the only part of the book that covers; can I freeze it? The rest of the book is a standard cookbook. The only difference is the author explains at the end of the recipe how to freeze that particular item. If you have something that you did not create from this book then you are out of luck. I can not believe that during the editorial process someone did not say: Let's create a chart at the end of the book with 400-500 common foods with easy column like food, storage container type, can I freeze it (yes, or no), and most necessary how long will it hold in the freezer. I repeat, this is the most necessary info you need if you are going to freeze cause the truth is 99% of foods can be frozen, but the storage times are vastly different. That was the only useful part of the book. In the previously y mentioned chapter the author gives "keep times" for different foods but it is random and incomplete. Like she mentions bread loves, and slices freeze well and in the next paragraph she says to slice up the loaves before freezing. ???? Why did you just tell me that loaves freeze well? There are other inconsistencies like that, I would have overlooked if the book was complete thorough in answering the title question.

Can I Freeze It?: How to Use the Most Versatile Appliance in Your Kitchen review [Book]  2018-3-29 18:1

In the freezer-cooking genre, there seem to be two types of cookbooks: the simple, workhorse, how-to-make-stuff-and-freeze-it variety, and the more "gourmet" variety. The former generally contains a lot of high-fat, uninspiring recipes like meatloaf and cream-of-mushroom soup-based casseroles, and the latter typically involves complicated recipes with fancy ingredients that most families with little kids would never sie Theodorou's "Can I Freeze It?" strikes a lovely middle ground. I especially enjoyed a chapter on meatballs that features several inspired variations, such as a Chinese noodle soup featuring chicken meatballs, and another chapter featuring several variations on gyoza (pot stickers).Freezing techniques are thoroughly explained for each recipe, with specific info about how to obtain the item from freezer to table (including clear notes about which recipes can be cooked from frozen). The one disappointment in this unbelievable cookbook was the complete lack of nutritional info provided for the recipes. Given that this book was published in 2007, I was beautiful shocked that this standard info was not provided.

I had thought this cookbook was about what you can freeze and what you can't. It really has nothing to do with that. It's a freezer concept cookbook and gives recipes for preparing then freezing meals in advance.I'm not saying this isn't a helpful cookbook to have but the title of this cookbook leads you to believe there would be lists of things you could freeze, how to prepare them to freeze and then how long they will last. It's not about that at all.But I would still recommend Don't Panic: dinner's in the freezer, or Super Suppers instead. This book does have some nice images though. And in its' cook once eat twice section I would recommend the Betty Crocker Cook Once Eat Twice cookbook instead.

Can I Freeze It?: How to Use the Most Versatile Appliance in Your Kitchen review [Book]  2018-3-29 18:1

This book is not what the title makes it out to be. It's basically a book of the authors recipes, and how to freeze and reheat them. I was looking for a book that if I had some green beans and asked "can I freeze them and how" the book would tell me how to prepare and freeze them, along with a wide dozens of new foods. Well, not this book! Also I think it shows that she really doesn't know much about freezing when she says that tomatoes don't freeze well. I learned from my 97 yr old neighbor, that he would take the whole tomato and freeze them whole, then take them out to defrost, the skin would slip right off and then he would use them in soups, stews and marinara's, because they do obtain mushy after freezing was her reasoning not to freeze them but there's plenty of ways they can be used after freezing, and to tell her readers not to freeze tomatoes is really doing them an injustice at saving a bumper crop, or sale price on tomatoes. Anyways, save your cash and avoid this book if you wish to learn "Can you Freeze it" it won't be answered here. (Glad I checked it out from the library first)

I have both the digital and physical versions of this book. If you are in this industry (or wish to be) it is vital to read as much as you can, and insights from a company like Google are invaluable. Don't go into this book expecting it to be a blueprint. Instead, use it to inform your thinking and approach. I highly recommend that you read this and then look for differing viewpoints. Googling GIFEE (Google Infrastructure For Everyone Else) is a amazing starting point, ironically enough.

Bored and Brilliant: How Spacing Out Can Unlock Your Most Productive and Creative Self review [Book]  2017-10-27 18:1

Toward the end of her book, Manoush writes, "I'm a sucker for an expert opinion," and I share that trait, which is why as soon as I found out this brilliant person was writing a book, I had to have it.I didn't quite devour it, as one does with a lot of books, in part because I wanted to do the challenges individually and give each chapter the requisite mental zone to be fully digested. I'm glad that I did. While I've been listening to her podcast "Note to Self" for a lot of years, and had intended to participate in the original Bored and Brilliant challenge week, I gave up on day two. I lacked the important motivation, perhaps because I wanted to know more, and more deeply, than Manoush was able to show during each day's short segment. (I've since discovered that this is because I'm a "questioner," as Gretchen Rubin describes it--you'll search her name and her own book as part of the advance praise on the back of the dust jacket.)Giving us more info is exactly what this book is about. Manoush is an perfect thinker (and researcher) precisely because she does speak with so a lot of brilliant and insightful individuals, and she brings all of that hard work and deep thought into this book. Having the opportunity to read the psychology behind each day's challenge was eye-opening and motivating for is book is crucial for today's world, and I hope it becomes a seminal text when it comes to our relationship with technology. It is partially because Manoush is not a troglodyte that I respect her so much. As she quotes Greg McKeown in chapter 8, "technology makes a amazing servant but a not good master," and it is precisely for that reason that we must reclaim our time and recognize our devices as tools and not sentient beings clamoring for our oush lays out the path for a better relationship not just to technology, but also to the globe around us. This book is absolutely worth reading (and slowly, so you have time to absorb its contents).

Well, I cannot fully agree with the methods presented in this book but I believe the technology is kind of taking over our lives. I cannot really stop using any of my tech devices since I need to work with my computer spend more than 8 hours on it and constantly check if there is a fresh info is available for my research etc. Also, I have to check my emails more than average even after hours. What I started to see is recently people like to use a popular individual to give examples to present their way is working or legit. In this book, one of the examples is Steve Jobs. He may or may not used the way but it is certain that he did not achieve his goals by only the boredom. As far as I can tell, he looked like a determined and goal oriented individual. While zoning out may work for some people it won't definitely create you a brilliant person and solve your issues in an ere are a lot of factors involved with the focus problem and I agree that technology is a part of it but what I believe is desperate times may trigger your brilliance method better and faster than "boredom. Just read the story of "The Million Dollar Homepage" which was made by Alex Tew.

Bored and Brilliant: How Spacing Out Can Unlock Your Most Productive and Creative Self review [Book]  2017-10-27 18:1

This book is an interesting and concise look at how technology, particularly cell phone usage, is greatly reducing the amount of time one’s wandering mind is daydreaming, coming up with highly creative ideas, and “autobiographical planning”. If you’re doing items on your cell phone all the time, your mind can’t wander. Not good. Don’t imagine this is an anti-tech book, however. It most certainly is not. Author Manoush Zomorodi is obviously a person who thinks cell phones are here to stay and can’t be lived without. She is simply encouraging tighter control over using them, and encourages paying more attention to how much time you spend using Zomorodi conducted a "Bored and Brilliant" experiment in 2015 with the radio listeners of her WNYC podcast "Note To Self". This book concentrates on that experiment and contains comments from some of the participants of the experiment. Overall, this is a noteworthy read, but not that noteworthy. Nothing the author or the participants say seems like anything fresh about modern day technology. It’s all been said before, it’s all been noted before. Maybe if you are someone who really does need to reduce the time you spend every day looking at one screen or another, this book will be useful to you. For me, it was just another sad look at those who actually think they can’t live without their cell phones, except for very short periods of time; where those very short periods of time are seen as large accomplishments.

Bored and Brilliant: How Spacing Out Can Unlock Your Most Productive and Creative Self review [Book]  2017-10-27 18:1

Bored and Brilliant by Manoush Zomorodi is a free NetGalley ebook that I read in early September.Taking from a segment of her radio show, Note to Self, Zomorodi dissects her challenge to unplug and be less reliant on handheld technology, as well as contains the responses from listeners who took and were (mostly, begrudgingly, or easily) able to complete this challenge. It really doesn't take much to acknowledge the feelings of bogged-down-ness, besotted-ness, and being on a short leash with one's cellphones and the need to take images as a method of anticipating positive social media agreement with the photo's subject, therein isolating a moment, rather than living within it. This makes Zomorodi's recommendations to self-police one's internet usage, playing android games that enable problemsolving, finding quiet time during one's workday for refocus and remain mindful, and to message your surroundings all the more crucial.

Ask For It: How Women Can Use Negotiation to Get What They Really Want review [Book]  2017-11-1 18:0

The male of our species seems to spring from the womb ready to negotiate everything. This tendency not only increases the wage and pension gap between men and women by the end of life, but it also adds to men's sense of empowerment and control in their world. Women don't ask, and as a direct effect they obtain less. Exponentially less. Why do we fail to ask?Because we have this small voice inside of us, clucking and frowning. According to Linda Babcock and Sara Laschever, who wrote Ask for It, we need to ignore that voice because:"The small voice inside telling you not to do it (don't rock the boat, don't obtain pushy, why can't you be satisfied with what you have?) isn't your voice. It's the voice of a society that's still trying to tell women how to behave. It's a voice whose notice is conveyed, often unwittingly, by our parents, teachers, colleagues, and mates - and then repeated and amplified by the media and famous culture."The authors show numerous examples of the unintentional, unconscious, and overwhelming bias society applies to women. Like this: Female musicians applying for a job with an orchestra were 250% more likely to be selected if they auditioned behind a screen.I know what you're thinking. "I'm fine," you say. "I don't deny that it exists. It's just that I personally have never suffered from discrimination." However, again quoting from Ask For It:"Social psychologist Faye Crosby calls this `the denial of private disadvantage' in which members of a particular group recognize that other members of the group have suffered but believe that they themselves have escaped it."This bias without malice starts early. In a study, school kids were asked to perform a little task and then pay themselves what they thought they deserved. (First graders were asked to award themselves Hershey's Kisses.) Here's the heartbreaking result: In first, fourth, seventh and tenth grades, girls consistently paid themselves 30% - 78% less than adds up - or I should say down. According to the recent US Census, women still earn less than men in every category. But there's a easy method to overcome this ingrained self-doubt, self-effacement, and self-denigration: ASK. Simply pause before you agree to anything, and ask for something to sweeten the deal. Why not? What are we afraid of? All they can say is no, and then you're where you were before the ask. However, you might be pleasantly surprised.I bought some furniture a couple days ago. The salesman tallied up the price, ending with "and delivery is $149." I looked at him and said, "Do you have any flexibility on that?" Without hesitation he knocked it down to $100. I saved fifty bucks with seven words! Men do this all the time. Per study after study, women don't. The authors found "clear and consistent evidence that men initiate negotiations to advance their own interests about four times as often as women do."If you're unhappy with something in your life, assume it can be changed. How a lot of of us assume the opposite, sigh, and hold plugging? This book contains many, a lot of practical tools for learning to ask (as well as dozens of examples and anecdotes, which created it fun reading.) In Chapter 10, for example, the authors describe "cooperative" bargaining (It's also called collaborative, or interest based, or win/win bargaining). It is more effective and comfortable than the traditional stony-eyed, fist-pounding ver you might envision. Also - bonus! - this tactic is more natural to women. In fact, you probably use it every day with your kids, partner, and , here are some amazing hints taken from the book:*Women specialize in waiting until they can't take it anymore and then blow up. Better to "assemble documentation, showing how you've increased the value, identify the best time to approach the boss, and create your case in a calm and businesslike way."*Doing it sooner rather than later makes a negotiation easier. "The brain imposes costs when we worry about something, and the longer we worry, the higher the cost. The sooner you ask for something you want, the better the negotiation itself will feel."As soon as my granddaughters are old enough to understand this book, I'm going to create sure they read it. Life is too precious to go through it with a self-imposed disadvantage.

Ask For It: How Women Can Use Negotiation to Get What They Really Want review [Book]  2017-11-1 18:0

This book is an perfect read, with helpful hints illustrated by lots of stories and studies. It is aimed primarily at women, but any person who wants to learn to negotiate better, in work or other parts of life, could benefit from it. It's especially amazing for people who don't know how to negotiate, or who think they shouldn't/don't need to ask for things. I love the section where the authors provide concrete exercises to support the reader go from non-negotiator to someone who is confident and practiced at asking for (and getting) things.I took detailed notes from the book to refer to in the future. Here are a few examples of hints from the book that apply to everyone:* Never ask if something is negotiable. It implies you're okay with it if not. Always assume yes.* Ask for what you wish when your bargaining power is high -- e.g., due to latest private successes, or after a bunch of people leave the company and they're in a tight spot if they lose you.* Each side can end up benefiting more by working collaboratively. Negotiation is often not zero-sum. You may think outside the original set of options to search something that meets everyone's needs better by discussing needs in detail and brainstorming. This is explored in a lot more detail in the book, and is one of the most valuable chapters.* Whether or not to create the first offer depends on how much info you have. If you know the other side's bottom line but they don't know yours, go first. Set the anchor at a beneficial put to you. But if you have no idea what they'll pay, test to allow them begin the are a few examples of hints from the book aimed primarily at women -- because aggressive bargaining is often seen as positive coming from men, but negative coming from women:* Avoid tentative language. "I'm not sure this is a amazing idea..." "Stop me if I'm wasting your time..." "I'm no expert, but..."* Frame proposals and comments positively. Don't soften what you want; just frame it as a positive for both you and other side.* Be relentlessly pleasant. Choose your words carefully, use a nonthreatening voice, and seem nice and friendly in all your actions. Express polite concern at the beginning that everyone is comfortable and has everything they need -- but don't fetch the coffee.

Ask For It: How Women Can Use Negotiation to Get What They Really Want review [Book]  2017-11-1 18:0

I've read quite a few books that might fall under the general category of "inspirational business books for women" and this is hands down the best has incredibly practical practicable advice. Babcock and Laschever acknowledge that there are outside factors, including how we condition women to act and how we perceive their actions, that create it difficult for women to negotiate and ask for the same things men do, but they also offer very practical suggestions and even lessons for how to improve at e book opens with some serious soul searching and ends with the first ten lessons of Babcock's college course in Negotiating and I think could be helpful for anyone trying to build confidence in their ability to negotiate, regardless of gender.I've listened to the audiobook and purchased the (more expensive than a hard copy) e-book just to have it more available for me to read and reference, that's how valuable I search this book.

I have purchased this book four times already and have lent or given it to women who are struggling with something. So far I've given it to support with career, family, school and relationship. I'm about to buy it again for a 20 something who is having problem getting help from her boyfriend with their baby. Gave it to another mate with cash spread out in it as bookmarks and reading goals. I asked her if she really liked it and she said the following: wish to read it again and have all my girls read it, helps her think about her thought process and thoughts about society that she overlooked, learned to be more confident in her abilities and ask for things she wants, be more vocal about things she deserves, she's asked for and gotten a raise and more responsibilities to increase her experience to obtain a promotion. It's honestly one the most thoughtful bonuses I've ever gotten, and that's not just b/c there was cash in it :)

I highly recommend this book to all of my female students. Despite the increasing number of publications about the importance of negotiation, a lot of people are reluctant to ask for higher salaries or better benefits. I believe that the basic reason that some job seekers accept the initial offer is that they are afraid of appearing greedy or offending their fresh employer. What this book helps job seekers to see is that negotiating your offer will actually create you more valuable to your employer because you will allow them know all your qualities that would qualify you for am higher pay or better benefits. Her chapters describes why you need Fb ads, as an example, and follows-up with a detailed “how-to.” I have a book in the TOP-100 Paid and thought I did beautiful amazing at marketing. Gundi’s lessons opened my eyes to ways to improve my previous efforts. I do few Guest Posts and her chapters on “why” and “how” opened my eyes that I’m missing fresh readers, which means more sales. Her light and breezy approach keeps it from being an intensive “Tony Robbins” all-day session. I have fun the fun attitude that is conveyed from the author's writing style. The first 10% - 12% of the book is the primary marketing fluff explaining why you are so lucky to have chosen this book, but at least it is delivered in an assuring tone that can obtain you excited and encouraged to continue. Though the info given is something you probably would already have learned on the web in the process of finding this book, it is more focused and concise than the normal shotgun fashion of info you would obtain by just reading internet marketing newsletters and sales pages.Oh, create no mistake, this book is about teaching you to shop your business (the "M" word as the author puts it). It is full of links to free and paid resources. The paid resources are mostly either products from the author or affiliate products but I will say this, I believe the author has hand picked a very curated list of products to present. For that reason, I'd say having the list of courses and resources presented in this book alone is worth the price of the buy the book, read it, obtain inspired, research the courses and products offered and take action on the ones that look amazing to you. Life is too short to spend it wishing that you had your own business. Go create one and have fun knowing whether you could create it work or not instead of wondering and day dreaming.

I loved this small book. Having owned a brick and mortar little service business and now being a coach and consultant, I know a lot about starting a little business. Nevertheless, Gundi gave me numerous resources I wasn't aware of including one critical one.I occasionally use an Amazon affiliate link in my articles. Although I read more terms and conditions than anyone I know, it has been years since I read Amazon's. I was shocked at the things that can obtain you banned from their affiliate program. Gundi recommended Al-Amin's perfect article on ditionally, her gift section I marketing is spot on. And her gift section I branding is ideal for her target audience, which seems to be startup infopreneurs, like authors, coaches, and consultants as well as musicians, artists, and crafters. Most of this info will even work for brick and mortar startups.

Another book about starting an online business?Yes, but let’s examine this from the logical side. Here is a book that, at first glance, appears to be just another entrepreneur’s pitch to sell you another book. If you judge by the cover alone, you would be right. Let’s not, however, throw the baby out with the bathwater before taking a closer ter all, Ms. Gabrielle advises us that in order to be successful, we need to be passionate about something we know, and she is certainly passionate and knowledgeable about marketing. That is what this book is all about, and without even hinting at it, Ms. Gabrielle provides dozens of examples of marketing on every single page! Phrasing, fonts, various colors, free offers, links to information…if you don’t realize she is offering free knowledge through her writing, you are reading method too Gabrielle emphasizes on more than one occasion that we should not be worried about the “M-Word.” I can’t argue about the importance of marketing, and while she did not advise flipping the M upside-down, the subject of Work is talked about. As stated above, there are hundreds of hints in this book, but none of them will work without effort. Ms. Gabrielle can provide all the knowledge in the world, but at some point, you have to pick up the ball and run with it. She advises that work, research, goals, and tenacity are all aspects of being if you aren’t afraid of doing some research and “getting your hands dirty,” this book is an perfect guideline if you have the desire to build a business on the Internet. Can’t afford it? There are a lot of free hints here to obtain started and hold you going for a long while. Got a few dollars to invest in yourself to become better at what you wish to do? Those options are available also, and the best investment you can create right now is to purchase this book. Five stars.

Gundi's mantra is “marketing” is not a dirty word, or something to fear. Her 3 key points are: SEO, Guest Posting, and Fb ads. This is a book you go back to read again and again, tweaking your marketing techniques to make more sales.

I’m not going to lie, I didn’t think a pink book would have so much value! (And I do like pink). This book will serve as the excellent tutorial as I begin my fresh business venture. I love how she offers extra links (although I did have an problem with one not pulling up). The authors voice is enthusiastic and down to earth. The treasures in this book are priceless in comparison to the 99 cents I spent. I would have happily spent more! This is a fabulous investment! I have been doing a lot of research and reading to begin my business and this is among the best time spent. The author gets straight to the point! It’s a fast read that lays out several action steps. I also learned several things that I never thought of before
