Inventive Weaving on a Little Loom: Discover the Full Potential of the Rigid-Heddle Loom, for Beginners and Beyond review [Book]  2017-11-2 18:2

I am a fresh weaver in the past six months. While I like and use online sources to learn fresh techniques, there is nothing like a book for continuous reference. The writing is clear and detailed. The pictures present exactly what you need to see clearly. The conversion charts for those of us who started out as knitters are extremely helpful. I expect this to be a "go to" book for learning and inspiration for future projects. If you wish clear direction direction on how to warp, common weaving problems, explanation of terms, how to calculate what you will need for a project and how to create your weaving look professional and interesting this is a amazing put to start.

Inventive Weaving on a Little Loom: Discover the Full Potential of the Rigid-Heddle Loom, for Beginners and Beyond review [Book]  2017-11-2 18:2

Concise, cohesive, and packed full of knowledge, this book will obtain you to not only search your rigid heddle loom but also to discover and use it to its fullest. There is a comparison of all looms currently available with pros and cons of each listed. That is just the start. I was blown away to see a chapter on tapestry -let alone all the laces and how to adapt four shaft draw downs. This book will not disappoint you. Just obtain it and begin exploring!

This book is intelligent and insightful, and obviously written by a mind that is curious about the "what ifs" of creating. Highly recommend it for people who wish to learn and grow with their weaving. Amazing for beginner to advanced weaver that doesn't wish to be stuck in a rut.

This is the best book on weaving that I've seen. There are clear explanations and a lot of various types of projects included using various loom widths and heddles. This should be the one book you own.

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-11-24 18:1

Initially we were satisfied with the product especially since we got it a very amazing price latest Amazon Prime Day sale on July 16, 2018. We liked how we can watch and stream shows easily thru different apps like Netflix, Amazon video, Dramafever, Rakuten etc. Very lighrweight television and just right for our needs. However to our surprise just awhile ago August 22, 2018, while streaming a drama series, the on screen display turned washed out/white screen. Turned on and off the television several times to see if it will reboot/restart properly. Unfortunately nothing remedied it. Either you obtain back to that washed out screen or a totally black screen no apps at all. I have just submitted a replacement request thru Amazon customer service so we will see what happens and how quick they will address our complaint.Just an update, so we ended up being told by Amazon, to contact Best Buy and we did that by email at the same time indicating in the letter we wish a replacement. Best Buy replied to us that it is outside of the return period if we wish contact Toshiba directly. So, we did just that..with sheer frustration of course being tossed around. Toshiba nicely told me that they will send the techinician and I asked which company handle this techinician is it Toshiba or a third party. Ironically, they are coordinating with who else. The Geek Squad. Oh dear..back to Best Buy then. The Geek Team guy came on the appointment date, just a few mins late, but was nice enough. His assessment as discussed with whoever was on the other end of the line came down to an approval for a replacement. So we were asked to bring the television over to our local Best Buy, gave us the confirmation and work numbers. Even gave us his business card and that of his manager if in case we encounter problems. For some reason it seems it is not common for them to service products sold by Best Buy throught the Amazon we went to our local Best Buy. The lady was nice enough, and honest enough to say she was not familiar with an Amazon sale of a Best Buy product. So I had to tell her again the long story of how we got the television etc etc. Finally someone helped her encode the return correctly and we had a shop credit for the complete amount we paid for. However when we got the replacement tv, the price in shop is slightly higher so we had to shoulder now the difference. Well, we just paid for it. So in short losing the advantage of that Prime deal sale price which did not work at all with a defective product. We do want these three companies, Amazon, Best Buy and Toshiba iron out the method they handle requests for replacements and returns....seems initially both Amazon and Best Buy did not wish to shoulder the return. If we had not insisted on availing the limited manufacturer's warranty, we would just have been left with a useless crap of a we are now watching on this 2nd toshiba television we got in shop at our local Best Buy. Will see if this one will work much beware fellow buyers, was it a amazing buy now?? Not really after all that ordeal to obtain a defective product replaced. So buyer beware!!

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-11-24 18:1

We bought this 50 inch TV on Prime Day. The picture is a screen shot of a video I took and not very amazing representation. Upon setting it up the TV had flickering lines and squares in random locations on the screen. This occurred no matter what application was being used. I contacted Amazon, Best Buy, and Toshiba via phone to attempt to replace the TV with the same model. Amazon stated that I could only return the TV. Best Buy stated that they would replace it, but I had to go through Amazon, and Amazon refused to replace it. I went to Best Buy locally, and they stated that they could not override Amazon's return policy for Prime Day electronics. I contacted Toshiba to attempt to utilize the warranty, but they stated that since it was fresh they would not replace it and that I required to return it to Amazon. So I had to take it apart (no biggie) and put it back inside of the box. Luckily I had the box and styrofoam inserts still. Then I had to lug it to a UPS shop to send it back to Amazon for a refund. I will never buy electronics on Prime Day again. The amazing price was the reason that Amazon and Best Buy stated that the TV would not be replaced. Now I have to wait for either Labor Day sales or Black Friday sales to obtain a amazing deal on a TV locally. Thanks a lot Amazon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-11-24 18:1

Firstly, YOU *CAN* CHANGE THE SETTINGS SO THE TV DOES NOT ALWAYS START AT THE HOME SCREEN when it turns on. I almost did not buy this TV because of all the negative reviewers who said it sucks so poor because there's nothing you can do about it......... that is simply not true. The TV does factory default to start/turn on at the Amazon Fire home screen, but THERE *IS* A DISPLAY SETTING for you to set the TV to turn on/start at the latest input/channel you were on when you turned the TV off last. (See picture). Now that being said, this really is a amazing TV; I am entirely satisfied with my purchase (and I have never really been that excited about buying a fresh TV). I remodeled my bedroom and I was looking to replace my 20-year-old tube TV for relatively cheap. This TV fit my budget, it sits amazing on my dresser, and because of the angle of my roof/ceiling I really could not fit a bigger TV even if I the same time I also "cut the cord" and got rid of cable in my house. I wanted a intelligent television so I could use my streaming apps (DirectTV Now, Netflix) and I already had a Fire stick in my living room, so having the "Fire" platform built into the TV is a amazing option. There are certain things I don't like about Amazon Fire but having used other platforms (Roku, GooBang Doo/ MXII & XB-III/Android Box), Fire is the best option for my bedroom. And I didn't wish to have extra hardware/boxes & separate remote controls to deal with in my room, so I love that it is all integrated into the TV and I only have 1 remote to deal with.I have a fairly huge master bedroom, and I have my desk at the other side of the room with a PC/router and a separate amp/speakers for the PC. Before setting up the TV I ran some wiring (3 wires) along the baseboards from my desk to the TV -- a Cat5 (wired network for TV), HDMI (video from computer to TV), and a RG6 coax (digital sound FROM the television back to my amp). The TV itself doesn't have a digital coax output (it does have SPDIF out); a 50-foot fiber optic cable would have been method too expensive, so I bought a $20 SPDIF to coax converter for the back of the TV. I like that the TV has a wired ethernet connection, because I'm not a fan of streaming over wireless, especially when there are like 20 other wireless devices already on the network. With my cabling in place, I was ready to rock-n-roll. Opened the box, plugged the television & wires in, turned it on. We had lift off. There was a first-time setup video that played; I skipped past it but for the novice user it might be informative. On screen programming was fairly easy and straight-forward. The largest decision was whether to set the TV to "Full" or "Basic" mode (which was probably explained in the video but I skipped past it). BASIC mode is just native OTA channels, inputs, and 6 built-in apps (NetFlix, PSVue, HBO, etc). FULL mode gives you access to the entire Fire app and application store, but you will need to already have or make a fresh Fire account. Obviously I chose Full om there, I was determined to present all the reviewers wrong by finding the setting that controls begin up behavior. I knew it had to be there. It is. Settings > Display & Sounds > Power On > Latest Input. GOOD, because I am one of those people that likes the TV to turn onto the latest channel/input I was watching. So there we have it, my only true reservation to initially buying the TV was found and fixed. I went through all the other settings and set them to my preferences. Then I went to the Application shop and downloaded the apps I use. I also deleted the pre-installed apps that I will never use.I also bought an OTA digital antenna. Since I've had cable for the latest 20 years, I never dealt with that analog-to-digital conversion that happened 10+ years ago, and I never experienced all the fresh .2 and .3 digital channels there are now. Wow. After scanning stations, I had 84 OTA channels available. Honestly, there's enough on regular TV for me to watch that I don't really use the streaming apps. Why didn't I obtain rid of cable 10 years ago???THE ONLY CON I have with this TV, is the method it displays OTA channels in the tutorial and in the quick-view bar.1) The tutorial sorts by channel ID (alpha). I [email protected]#$%! sorted by channel number, or gave me the option to sort by channel #. In fact, it doesn't even present the channel # until you select a channel. I know in the modern era we are getting away from #'s. But I still like my channel #'s. If I wish channel 9, I wish to go scroll to channel 9, but instead I have to scroll all the method to the bottom to search WGN.2) I miss having channel up and channel down buttons. Everything is through the "guide" now. You can press the down button, and you obtain a quick-select menu, which I search more convenient that the "guide." I would still rather flip from one channel to the next with 1 click and not have to go through menus.3) YOu can set stations as your "favorite" and then present only favorites. But that only applies to the guide. The quick-select menu still shows every single station available. Since the fast select menu shows recently viewed stations first, my solution was just to go view each of my favorites, and then they present up first before all the other ven the few "cons" which are negligible, I would still buy this TV again, and I may end up buying a larger ver of it for my living room the next time my projector lamp goes out. Definitely 5 stars for value received to cost.

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-11-24 18:1

The first month or so I had this TV - worked very well and was integrated with Fire TV. It was very simple to use until my ethernet port stopped detecting my cable and the TV only intermittently detects my WIFI despite being next to my router.Unable to use for its intended purpose of streaming with these issues.

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-11-24 18:1

After the recent driver/software update, this TV is now amazing. Before you had very limited adjustments for color, contrast, and the I have full control over every setting for the TV. -1 star for the for the stupid "recommended by your apps" bar. Yes I understand that this is an "Amazon" TV, but I don't need my TV to present me and everyone that visits what I have ordered lately. (If you install the Amazon shopping app, this is what will happen. And no, you have no option to disable it)-1 star for the Advertisements that you can not remove from the home screen. As you scroll down the home screen , you will obtain an advertisement after every 3rd or 4th content bar. Very Amazon\Jeff Bezo, I bought your damn TV, is really important to to hold blasting me with advertisement to buy more items from you. Can't you just allow me have fun my fresh TV in peace???

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-11-24 18:1

I bought this 50-inch Toshiba on 2018 Prime Day for $289.99 and I had to buy it for that price. I have two other Toshiba TVs. One isn't a Intelligent TV and the other has Google Chromecast built in. This Toshiba with the Amazon Fire Stick built-in is much better. The menu is very simple to navigate and you don't have to use an application from your phone to operate the intelligent functions. Setup was super simple and fairly quick, but required some software modernize time. Most importantly, the picture and sound are great. I have a soundbar, but the speakers on the TV alone are loud enough and have a quality sound. I definitely think this Toshiba deserves 5 Stars for the price and yes I'm a grown man that watches cartoons if you saw the pictures.Update: I've had this TV for several months and it is still going strong. The picture is still crisp and it is continuously on for hours throughout the day. I've seen a lot of reviews about losing internet connection, but I had a easy remedy to my internet issue. I did lose connection once when I moved my TV and had to disconnect the ethernet wire. I could not obtain the TV to connect to the internet after I plugged the ethernet cable back in and the wireless internet could not connect. The internet didn't connect until I did a factory restart and never had anymore issues. Even with that little problem that I had, I continue to love my Toshiba!

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-11-24 18:1

At first, the TV worked great; simple to navigate, amazing picture. After 4 days, it wouldn't stay connected to the internet which left me with no access to the homepage or any apps. Then, one day, it started randomly working again. But only for about a week. It is now down, yet again. I have contacted Amazon, Best Buy, and Toshiba. No luck. The problem is NOT the internet because every other device in the house is fully connected without issues. At this point, I need to just buy a various TV all together. I will not be purchasing another Tobisha Amazon Fire TV. I would think twice about purchasing this.

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-11-24 18:1

I normally don't write product reviews, but the quality of this Amazon-branded item is so not good that a review is needed. The problem with this system began about 3 months after purchase. At first, I thought the problem was with our cable service; however, after closer inspection, the problem stems from the product manufacturer, Toshiba. I purchased the system during my first ever Prime Day purchase, direct from Amazon. The screen just glitches out and then goes solidly black. Unplugging the tv only reproduces the same glitches. Now, someone from Geek Team is headed to my home to look at shoddy, defective, equipment. While I am hopeful that this Amazon-branded product will be replaced, I will not keep my breath.

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-11-24 18:1

I usually wait a month or more to review a product to insure I give a fair accounting of it. But this Amazon Alexa enabled TV is just to amazing to wait in the face of some not good reviews from people who didn't realize what they were purchasing or never used Fire-TV and Alexa before, both of which require a learning curve to love 's:Ease of setup - Took it out of the double packed boxes installed the stand legs, connect the power cord, and antenna cable, place the batteries in the remote and turned it on by the remote. It immediately went through the setup process where I place in my Amazon acc information. That quick there was all of my Amazon Fire and Prime programs and history. Next it scanned the antenna for channels and found 15 more then the old TV could fine. In 30 mins (I'm a Old man a younger man could do it in half the time) it was up and - Amazing looking video. Played moves off the air and 4K content frome prime all of which is as amazing or very close to the much more expensive TV'und - The audio was amazing for vt speakers. I later hook up my old surround sound system which was even better.Ease of Use - With Alexa control and the one putton channel tutorial finding just the right thing to watch is a breeze, but once again a learning curve to N's:Shipping boxes - Amazing news / poor news the shipping boxes weighs as much as the TV. No @#$%edoff delivey man is going to damage that TV. The poor part for me is I'm a 74 year old disabled veteran. If I do this again I'll ask someone to ual (what manual) - Other then a little fast setup tutorial there is no printed instructions. Maybe soon Toshiba will place one on their website. For me with small to do all day I was able to hunt and peck my method through it but others might not have the l and all this one amazing TV especially if you are vested in Amazon Prime. All the feathers at this price is a amazing value.

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-11-24 18:1

Thank goodness for that 30-day return policy because we got two of these TV's and both stopped working within a week of receiving. The first TV worked for a few days and then lost functionality of most of the buttons on the remote. For a intelligent TV, it's necessary that you can use the limited amount of buttons that are on the remote. We thought it was the remote so we had Toshiba send us a brand fresh remote. After we got the fresh remote we tried using that and had the same exact issues. I tried using the fire TV remote on my iPhone and had the same problems - we had to assume it was the TV at this point and sent it back for an exchange. When we got the fresh TV everything worked well.... for 2 days. On day 3 the screen went completely black and never came back on. We could hear what the TV was playing but could not see anything. The screen was completely shot. We packed it back up and sent it back to amazon (again) and just ordered a various brand. Too poor this TV was so faulty, because we really liked it when it worked for those few short days. I didn't wish to order another and have it crap out on me after the 30-day return policy.

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-11-30 18:2

The first month or so I had this TV - worked very well and was integrated with Fire TV. It was very simple to use until my ethernet port stopped detecting my cable and the TV only intermittently detects my WIFI despite being next to my router.Unable to use for its intended purpose of streaming with these issues.

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-11-30 18:2

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-11-30 18:2

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-11-30 18:2

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-11-30 18:2

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-12-1 18:1

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-12-1 18:1

The first month or so I had this TV - worked very well and was integrated with Fire TV.

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-12-1 18:1

I could not obtain the TV to connect to the internet after I plugged the ethernet cable back in and the wireless internet could not connect. The internet didn't connect until I did a factory restart and never had anymore issues. Even with that little problem that I had, I continue to love my Toshiba!

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-12-5 18:1

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-12-5 18:1

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-12-5 18:1

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-12-5 18:1

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-12-5 18:1

Toshiba 32LF221U19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV - Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-12-5 18:1

The first month or so I had this TV - worked very well and was integrated with Fire TV. It was very simple to use until my ethernet port stopped detecting my cable and the TV only intermittently detects my WIFI despite being next to my router.Unable to use for its intended purpose of streaming with these issues.

Fire 7 Tablet (7" display, 32 GB) - Blue + Amazon Standing Case (Twilight Blue) review [Book]  2019-11-25 18:2

Original review (June 9, 2019) and three updates placed at the end of the original review (June 10, 2019, June 14, 2019, and June 21, 2019, respectively).ORIGINAL REVIEW: June 9, 2019 (5/5 stars)UPDATED REVIEW: June 21, 2019 (4/5 stars)For background information, I am a professor and a tech geek. I have used Amazon devices for around eight years now. I currently own three Kindle e-readers (Kindle Touch, Kindle Paperwhite 3rd generation, and Kindle 10). I also own four Amazon Fire tablets (2015 Fire 7 -5th generation, 2019 Fire 7 – 9th generation, 2017 Fire HD 8 - 7th generation and 2018 Fire HD 8 –8th generation) and 3 Echo devices (1st generation Echo, 2nd generation Echo Dot, and 3rd generation Echo Dot). Please note that I have traded-in some of the dated versions of the above-listed products to obtain upgraded versions (more on this under the “Saving Cash on Purchases” section). This device is Amazon’s most recently refreshed (2019 – 9th generation) Fire smartphone 7 inch at an outstanding price. The Fire 7 (9th generation) is definitely slightly better than the previous generation. The combination of quality and value are really tough to beat and the smartphone does well overall. This is a comprehensive review, but for those looking for the bottom line, scroll down to the bottom to see some feedback on how to save cash on purchasing the Fire and my final low is my summary of the “Fire 7.” I have spent the past few days playing around with the Fire, using it, and reading other online reviews about this ver to ensure the comprehensiveness and accuracy of info provided in this review. For reference purposes, this Fire model was latest refreshed in 2017. This review has overlaps with my review of the Fire 7 Children Edition smartphone because both of these are essentially the same smartphone but to a various audience.-THE BOX: The Fire 7 tablet, a quick-start guide, primary safety instructions, 5W wall adapter, and a USB cord (around 3 foot or 36 inches). The item arrived sealed and packaged well.- AVAILABILITY: Black, Twilight Blue, Plum, and Sage are the base colors variants. Additionally, covers can be purchased for $29.99 in the same color scheme as the Fire smartphone from Amazon. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend these overpriced covers. There are several other high quality and aesthetically pleasing covers that can be found on Amazon that are affordable, well rated, and function better.- Key things that have not changed from the prior Fire 7 model:--- Display size remains the same--- PPI remains the same at 171--- RAM remains the same at 1 GB of RAM.--- Speaker and microphone remains the same (mono speaker with built-in microphone)--- Size specifications remain the same--- Warranty remains the same (90-day limited warranty)- Summary of key aspects (listed in order of importance) that have changed in this ver (Fire 7: 2019: 9th generation) from prior generation Fire 7 smartphone (2017: 7th generation). For the below comparison, the fresh ver will be listed as Fire 2019 and the previous model as Fire 2017.--- Fire 2019: Increased storage options (16 GB or 32 GB) as compared to prior ver Fire 2017 (8 GB or 16 GB).--- Battery life has declined to 7 hours (1-hour reduction) from prior version.--- Charge time has decreased from 6 hours (Fire 2017) to 4 hours (Fire 2019). This is a major plus because it would take forever to charge these tablets). Again, please note that this claim (regarding charging time) holds real only if an Amazon wall outlet is used. The smartphone usually notifies you when you are using a non-compatible wall outlet and cable. I have tested charging speeds on third-party wall ports and noticed a substantial increase in charging time as compared to using an Amazon wall outlet. So, ideally, consumers should use only the Amazon wall outlet for quick charging.--- The fresh processor based on specs provided by Amazon to developers Fire 7 2019 [Quad-Core ARM Cortex-A53 (1.3 GHz)] vs. Fire 7 2017 [Quad-Core ARM Cortex-A7 (1.3 GHz)] is a bit faster. Again, this is my initial assessment. This would require extra testing and I will place in these numbers at a later time when they become available.--- Camera quality has improved 2 MP front and rear-facing cameras with 720p HD video recording as compared to the prior version.--- Slight decrease in weight (0.3 oz/9 grams)--- Light sensor added (mentioned in developer info page).--- Three fresh colors added (Twilight Blue, Plum, and Sage) in addition to Black.- Technical specs and other details:--- Size: 7.6” x 4.5” x 0.4” (192 x 115 x 9.6 mm).--- 171 pixel per inch (PPI) with IPS display technology and advanced polarizing filter. This basically means that there is a bright display with vivid colors and whiter whites for a amazing viewing experience from all angles.--- 7-inch screen, 1024 x 600 resolution with SD video playback--- Internal Storage: 16 or 32 GB--- External Storage: expandable storage using MicroSD card for up to 512 GB + unlimited cloud storage for Amazon digital content purchases.--- Weight: 10.1 oz/286 grams--- Amazon’s digital assistant: Hands-free Alexa enabled. This option basically converts the device into a stand-alone device that can do multiple functions. For instance, if you are cooking and wish help, you can ask Alexa to pull up the instructions for “Mashed Potatoes” and it will do so.--- Warranty and Service: 90-day limited warranty and service included. U.S. customers can purchase an extended warranty for 1, 2 or 3 years (though I might not personally recommend this for such an affordable product like the Fire 7)--- Camera: 2MP VGA front-facing camera and rear-facing HD camera--- Sensors: Accelerometer and light sensor--- Battery life: Up to 7 hours of battery life--- Fully charges in 4 hours (if Amazon wall outlet is used)--- Single-antenna dual-band Wi-Fi. Uses 802.11a/b/g/n with WEP, WPA, and WPA2 security using password authentication. No help offered to connect to ad-hoc (or peer-to-peer) Wi-Fi networks.--- Bluetooth 4.1 LE--- Ports: USB 2.0 (micro-B connector) to connect to the computer or for charging the device with the included power adapter; MicroSDXC slot for external storage, and 3.5 mm stereo jack and integrated speaker.- Some limitations (to be expected because of this smartphone being sold at a bargain price and also being the base model of the Fire series):--- No HD video viewing available--- Camera specs are sub-par as compared to other costlier tablets (again this might sound oxymoronic...but just pointing it out)--- Max volume is below average (because of the mono-speaker)--- Sound quality is average--- Amazon’s ecosystem is not as heavy compared to the Google Play Shop and Apple Play Store.--- Amazon’s Silk browser is not as intuitive and user-friendly as more prominent competitors (Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.).--- Some reviewers have claimed that the external storage (MicroSDXC card) is not as responsive as the internal storage (this is not something I have experienced).--- Because of concerns dealing with volume and sound quality using this model for listening to music, or watching TV shows, movies, etc. might require headphones or a speaker.-Fire 7: 2019 Smartphone Children edition: Please note that Amazon has updated their Fire 7 Children Edition too. Since, this is for a various audience, I will not deal with it in this review.- Comparison between Fire 7 (this ver – 2019 release) and Fire HD 8 (2018 release – mid-tier model):--- Charge time: Fire HD 8 (6 hours) vs. Fire 7 (4 hours)--- Display Size: Fire HD 8 (8 inches) vs. Fire 7 (7 inches)--- Video playback: Fire HD 8 (HD video playback) vs. Fire 7 (SD video playback)--- Resolution: Fire HD 8 (1280 * 800; 189 PPI) vs. Fire 7 (1024 *600; 171 PPI)--- RAM: Fire HD 8 (1.5 GB RAM) vs. Fire 7 (1 GB RAM)--- Battery life: Fire HD 8 (10 hours) vs. Fire 7 (7 hours),--- Speaker: Fire HD 8 (Dolby Atmos, dual stereo speakers) vs. Fire 7 (Mono speaker)--- Weight: Fire HD 8 (12.8 oz, 363 g) vs. Fire 7 (10.1 oz, 286 g)--- Expandable Storage (internal storage remains same): Fire HD 8 (expandable by to 400 GB) vs. Fire 7 (expandable by up to 512 GB).--- Colors: Fire HD 8 (Black, Marine Blue, Punch Red, Canary Yellow) vs.. Fire 7 (Black, Twilight Blue, Plum, Sage)--- Cost: Fire HD 8 (16 GB - $79.99; 32 GB - $109.99) vs. Fire HD 7 (16 GB - $49.99; 32 GB - $69.99)--- Multi-touch: Fire HD 8 (10-point) vs. Fire 7 (5-point)--- Processors, software version, and cameras remain the same on both units.- Comparison between Fire 7 (this ver – 2019 release) and Fire HD 10 (2017 release – mid-tier model):--- Charge time: Fire HD 10 (5 hours) vs. Fire 7 (4 hours)--- Display Size: Fire HD 10 (10.1 inches) vs. Fire 7 (7 inches)--- Video playback: Fire HD 10 (HD video playback; 1080p HD resolution) vs. Fire 7 (SD video playback)--- Resolution: Fire HD 10 (1920 * 1200; 224 PPI) vs. Fire 7 (1024 *600; 171 PPI)--- Processor: Fire HD 10 [2xARM Cortex-A72 (1.8 GHz), 2xARM Cortex-A53 (1.4 GHz)] vs. Fire 7 inch (ARM Cortex-A53 Quad-Core 1.3 GHz) (basically Fire HD 10 would be substantially faster than either the Fire 7 or Fire HD 8)--- RAM: Fire HD 10 (2 GB RAM) vs. Fire 7 (1 GB RAM)--- Battery life: Fire HD 10 (10 hours) vs. Fire 7 (7 hours),--- Speaker: Fire HD 10 (Dolby Atmos, dual stereo speakers) vs. Fire 7 (Mono speaker)--- Camera: Fire HD 10 (0.3 MP front-facing and 2 MP rear-facing camera) vs. Fire 7 (2 MP front-facing and rear-facing camera)--- Weight: Fire HD 10 (17.7 oz, 500 g) vs. Fire 7 (10.1 oz, 286 g)--- Internal Storage: Fire HD 10 [32 GB (25.4 GB available to user) or 64 GB (54.1 GB available to user)] vs. Fire 7 [(internal storage remains same - 16 GB (9.4 GB available to user) or 32 GB (23.6 GB available to user)]--- Expandable Storage: Fire HD 10 (expandable by to 256 GB) vs. Fire 7 (expandable by up to 512 GB).--- Colors: Fire HD 10 (Black, Marine Blue, Punch Red) vs.. Fire 7 (Black, Twilight Blue, Plum, Sage)--- Cost: Fire HD 10 (32 GB - $149.99; 32 GB - $189.99) vs. Fire 7 (16 GB - $49.99; 32 GB - $69.99)--- Multi-touch: Fire HD 10 (10-point) vs. Fire 7 (5-point)** If you are considering buying the Fire HD 10, I would wait on it as there is a high probability that this model will be refreshed this year as the latest modernize was in 2017 (Amazon seems to follow a 2-year refresh cycle though this is not always the case).- Some useful features on Fire Tablets (not a comprehensive list)--- Accessibility: “VoiceView and Screen Magnifier enable access to the vast majority of Fire smartphone features. VoiceView features text-to-speech voice. Fire OS 5 also contains system wide closed caption settings, adjustable font sizes up to 50% larger, and a dozens of book reading text adjustments such as adjustable colors and text spacing. Also contains adjustable font sizes/color, and built-in Oxford dictionary.”--- Surfing the web using Amazon’s web browser - Silk--- Watching movies, TV shows and listening to music.--- Ability to read Kindle books.--- Ability to read the news using Washington Times--- Other apps (games, educational tools, etc. available in Amazon’s application store) plus several prominent apps included like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc.--- Ability to obtain set-up email apps, calendar, etc.--- Ability to play android games that can be downloaded from the application store.- Testing:Wi-Fi: I was able to connect to the Wi-Fi network without any technical difficulties. The process was beautiful straightforward.- Saving cash on purchasing the Fire:--- For users who wish more storage, I would strongly recommend getting the Fire 7 (16 GB) and then purchasing a microSD card as opposed to getting the costlier Fire 7 (32 GB tablet). For context, users can obtain a 64 GB microSD card for around $12 (users might be able to obtain a cheaper microSD card on Amazon prime day) on Amazon which is cheaper than paying an extra $20 for Fire 7 32 GB. Additionally, the user gets more storage by getting a microSD card.--- The initial purchase with a promo discount entitles the user to a ($10 application shop credit value), so you are essentially paying $ 39.99 for the 16 GB Fire 7 tablet.--- The cost for the 16 GB Fire 7 will be $49.99 (with unique offers) or 32 GB Fire 7 for $69.99 (with unique offers). Customers can disable unique offers later by paying $20 if they purchase the Fire with unique offers. Personally, I would recommend going the route of getting the unique offers and then disabling it. The unique offers only appear when the Kindle is locked/asleep and are non-intrusive. I have 6 devices, all of which have unique offers and have never had an issue. However, if the user does not like the unique offers, you can purchase the Fire with unique offers and then remove the unique offers..--- You can easily trade-in your prior Fire for Amazon credit (for $5-$15 depending on ver and condition), which also entitles them to keep an extra 25% discount towards their fresh Fire.--- As previously mentioned, I would recommend avoiding purchasing extended warranty on this item.--- My recommendation would be to purchase this item during a sale happening (for instance, Amazon Prime day is coming up in July). The customer can obtain this smartphone for around $20 off during Prime day (based on prior sales analysis), and then stack the trade-in price and the 25% discount to obtain this item for a minimal cost (maybe you can snag it for $20 in total or lesser if everything is applied correctly). However, one thing to hold in mind is that Amazon might decide to remove the trade-in bonus card and 25% discount at any point.-Quality comment: Some customers have critiqued the prior ver (Fire 7: 2017) for lack of long-term quality. Again, please remember that this product is sold for $49.99 and goes on sale for around $ 29.99. How much more can one expect for a product this affordable? I have used my prior Fire 7 (2015) for 4 years without any problems (Honestly, I am surprised it lasted this long). Additionally, it definitely is more durable than my iPad. Additionally, with the immense technological breakthroughs occurring at lightening speed, any smartphone will be obsolete in a few years. So, it might be logically better to obtain an affordable average end smartphone than investing in a high end one (unless you need a high-end one for your specific use).- Conclusion:To sum up my review, this is the primary Amazon Fire 7 tablet. No bells and whistles, but it does the job. Limitations contain sound quality, volume quality, and potential problems with MicroSDXC Card access, and primary application store. Updates worth noting in this ver contain the fresh color options, a slight decrease in weight, increase in storage (internal and external), slightly faster processor, slightly improved cameras, and slight decrease in battery life (though this might be a more accurate representation of the life of the battery). The bottom line is that if you are looking to obtain a super affordable smartphone that is well-rated, small, lightweight, and can complete most of the primary and some intermediate tasks along with primary entertainment, then this Fire smartphone is the method to go. So, I am giving it 5/5 stars in spite of its limitations because it is really hard (if not impossible) to search a better deal at this price point.- UPDATE # 1 (June 10, 2019): Fire HD 8I would personally recommend the Fire HD 8 (mid-tier model) as opposed to this Fire 7 (the model reviewed) for a few more dollars. This can be purchased after following the cost-saving suggestions previously listed. My reasons are several and include: the 8 inch screen (as compared to 7 inches), higher resolution (189 PPI vs. 171 PPI), increased RAM (1.5 GB vs. 1 GB), battery life (10 hours vs. 7 hours), and the feature I appreciate the most - Dolby Atmos, dual stereo speakers (which can create a globe of difference while watching or listening to something). I own both the 7 and the 8 inch, and there is a spectacular difference in sound quality and volume between the two. Besides, most phones now have an average screen size of around 5.5 inches (many companies are moving towards a 6 inches average). So, having a 7-inch smartphone might not per se create a major difference for customers because it is related in size to their phone (unless they wish to use this device as a back-up device to prevent wear and tear on their phone). Additionally, since charging takes a substantial amount of time, I would rather have a smartphone with longer battery life (Fire HD 8) than shorter (Fire 7). However, please note that the latest argument cuts both ways as the fresh Fire 7 (4 hours) charges quicker as compared to the Fire HD 8 (6 hours).- UPDATE # 2 (June 15, 2019): Amazon FreeTime Unlimited- Amazon FreeTime Unlimited ($2.99/month after free subscription period)--- Amazon FreeTime Unlimited is a subscription that offers over “20,000 books, movies, TV shows, apps and android games for children 3-12. Age Filters ensure children see age-appropriate content. Parents can add content to kids' profiles to give them more access to apps and games.” “In FreeTime, children do not have access to social media or Alexa. In-app purchases require parent approval. Parents can exit FreeTime using a passcode.” Another special feature is Amazon’s FreeTime Unlimited in Spanish!--- Parents also have the option “to set educational goals and curfews (using FreeTime Unlimited), and manage content for up to 4 kid profiles (option given during initial set-up of the tablet) with easy-to-use parental controls.”--- Generally speaking - FreeTime Unlimited offers unbeatable value – I mean where else on earth can you obtain kid-friendly and generally holistic content for $2.99/month (after trial subscription ends).*FreeTime unlimited has several nifty features that I cannot cover because of zone limitations. Parents have a lot of flexibility in choosing and curating content for children, permitting downloads, and even setting the smartphone to turn-off after a preset amount of use or at a set time and turn on at a set time.UPDATE # 3 (June 21, 2019): Battery Life and SoftwareSome customers have complained about the low and unpredictable battery life for this fresh device. I have experienced occasional battery fluctuations (my prior Fire seemed to have better battery life). So, I am docking a star. Some other reviewers have also experienced overheating of this device. Other than the occasional overheating that occur in all devices (when complex programs/apps are used for an extended period of time), I haven’t experienced anything major until now. Additionally, some customers have also complained about the fresh Fire OS causing problems. I have experienced occasional staggering of the OS and application closures but nothing major as described by other reviewers. I will continue my testing to see if other problems surface but just wanted to give a heads-up to customers so they are prepared in case they experience any problems in the future and wish to contact Amazon about ease also note several resources were used in the compilation of this review but most of this review was based on my private testing of the product.Whenever I create any purchase, I test to do a thorough and accurate job with the review. My reviews are my honest and comprehensive assessment of the product. I always post future updates and corrections based on fresh info if deemed necessary. Additionally, I always contain images of products to verify both that I purchased this product and to back up appropriate claims in the review. Fire 7 Tablet (7" display, 32 GB) - Blue + Amazon Standing Case (Twilight Blue) review [Book]  2019-11-25 18:2

I having been buying the smaller Fire tablets (7 inch) since the beginning and I can now recommend to buy this tablet. I have other sized Fire tablets (8 Inch) and a fresh ipad, plus the fresh Kindle paper white, but the Fire 7 is my go to tablet. What I use it for. Prime Video, Hulu, Netflix, Youtube. Kindle reader for books and bible. Audible books from audible. Podcasts (stitcher). Comixology for comics (old school Marvel fan!). Ig (I do not use facebook). Home automation with Alexa (control of my lights, ring alarm, alarms, and primary questions) works amazing both hands free as well as pressing the home button. I also play light android games on it, Word search, Temple run, Mad Birds series of games, Yahtzee, Subway Surfer, Crossy Roads, and a few others. I also listen to Amazon prime melody (Apple melody does not work on this device). I mainly use my Apple air buds when watching and listening and it sounds fantastic. Picture quality is great. This is a snappy small smartphone and my favorite size. It feels amazing in the hand with the solid plastic build (compared to the Fire 8 inch, which feels more "cheap"). It is a amazing smartphone to use while lying in bed, which is mainly when I use it (ipad 9.7 is to heavy). I feel that Amazon finally got it right with this fresh 2019 version. The previous versions are painfully slow to load anything, and that is why I never would recommend them especially for a child. These fresh tablets are so much better, my wife wants one, and I will be buying them for my kids, something I would not even consider before, because of the frustration of the slowness (and the reason my children took over the ipad and iphones in the first place). As you can see this is a consumption device, meant for fun..not a computer or workhorse. I should mention you can check email and use the smartphone for video chatting and dropping in on other echo devices which works really well and my children have fun using it, I should also mention that I am a Prime member and take advantage of the Prime image storage, which any picture that I take on my iphone, pops up on my Fire Tablet. I should also mention why I use this for reading more than my paper white, it is because I like the "page curl effect" and the method it highlights my passages on books (I still use my paper white..but this is just a preference). The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the 2mp camera (which I do not use much) and the battery life, which is actually not bad, but Amazon asked for a "star" rating on those two features as well as smartphone as a whole. At $50 you can not go wrong. Plus if you have a previous version, just trade it in. I got $10 knocked off and an extra 20% savings. I think I paid about $33. I will be trading in my 8 inch Fire for this size as well. Amazing small tablet!

Fire 7 Tablet (7" display, 32 GB) - Blue + Amazon Standing Case (Twilight Blue) review [Book]  2019-11-25 18:2

This kindle worked well for a few hours and then all of a sudden it started to find the internet on it's own. This is for my 8 year old daughter because her old kindle was not working. This kindle really scared my child. She would play a android game and something would control the game. We would watch it change the settings on it's own and move from ap to ap. When the kindle was locked something kept trying to access my contacts, and unblock my kindle!! It would change the time and change to a various alarm. I contacted amazon and they were not helpful, because nothing worked.. I had to factory reset it twice and it kept going back to controling itself on it's own. Finally I just had to return it because it because there was no method to use it. Amazon needs to create a product that works.

Fire 7 Tablet (7" display, 32 GB) - Blue + Amazon Standing Case (Twilight Blue) review [Book]  2019-11-25 18:2

Disclaimer: installing the google play shop is somewhat advanced, it is not something that you just click on and find, and you definitely will not be installing it from anything amazon offers or ople complaining that it sucks because it doesn't have google play store, YES YOU CAN PUT IT ON THERE STILL. It purposefully does not come on these. Because amazon markets them and google is a competitor to amazon. At the end of the day, these tablets are built on top of android, they run android device as the operating system, so yes you can place the google play shop on it. I have done it on 5 of these fresh kind fires and it works great. There is a youtube video on it, just google it.If you do not know how to install an application from an unknown source like downloading from the internet and installing an app, then maybe it's not for you if you are needing it for the sole purpose of google play. If you are a technical person, and like to learn, you will be just search and will figure it out. I bought these tablets for the sole purpose of needing a bunch of cheap square point of sale terminals. These tablets are the cheapest and best quality/hardware that you will search if you are looking for something like that. There are a bunch of chinese tablets for this price that are 10x worse and unreliable. These all fresh kindle fires are reliable, cheap, and awesome quality. I would recommend the kindle fire 7 any ain, my sole purpose was using them for putting the google play shop on it, and downloading square, and a hand full of other apps. My use case for these tablets are most likely a lot various than most peoples.

Fire 7 Tablet (7" display, 32 GB) - Blue + Amazon Standing Case (Twilight Blue) review [Book]  2019-11-25 18:2

I'm not a fan. It doesn't keep an internet connection well AT ALL and I hate how limited the device is. I'm sure it's mostly my fault for not reading that the fire tablets are only exclusive to Amazon apps so you can't use any apps from Google play or anything, but in the part of the description I read it said games. I didn't realize it didn't contain Google play games. Unfortunately that was my reason for getting a tablet, so I will be returning mine and getting something with Google play services. If you are okay with only watching movies, TV and reading, this may be okay for you. Not sure about the internet connection though, my boyfriend's smartphone (Lenovo) doesn't do that.

Fire 7 Tablet (7" display, 32 GB) - Blue + Amazon Standing Case (Twilight Blue) review [Book]  2019-11-25 18:2

I am surprised by how poor this product is given the overall decent quality of Amazon products. The screen is unresponsive and freezes. Kindle books I purchased are inaccessible from this device no matter what I do to begin them even though they present up on the kindle app. I cannot delete apps that I don’t wish even though I am supposed to be able to do so. Too a lot of ads present up and there doesn’t appear to be a reliable method to avoid them.

Fire 7 Tablet (7" display, 32 GB) - Blue + Amazon Standing Case (Twilight Blue) review [Book]  2019-11-25 18:2

I have had my fresh fire now for just a few days, but so far, I really like it. It is slimmer than my old one (2nd gen) and feels nice and light. I ordered the recommended case with it and it fit beautifully, nice and snug for a very thin sleek look. However, I have arthritis in my hands and was concerned that if I should drop it, the case might not protect it enough. That is just for me, it would probably be perfectly adequate for the average person without gripping drifficulties. I returned the lovely, sleek case and ordered the bulkier Moro case like I am used to. It is doing a amazing job. The fresh Kindle was very simple to set up and all settings were simple to find. Definitely recommend.

Fire 7 Tablet (7" display, 32 GB) - Blue + Amazon Standing Case (Twilight Blue) review [Book]  2019-11-25 18:2

I really didn't need a fresh one but wanted the 32 GB. It works really well so far. Haven't had any problems. The battery doesn't seem to latest as long as it says but I have only charged it a couple times since receiving it. Time will tell on that but it does work well. I inserted a 128 GB mini sd card and works great, just like it should. The blue color is really beautiful and a small various than the 7th generation I have. The thing I like the most is the 32 GB instead of the 16. Nice upgrade.

Fire 7 Tablet (7" display, 32 GB) - Blue + Amazon Standing Case (Twilight Blue) review [Book]  2019-11-25 18:2

I so wanted to love this kindle. However there are some things that I love about it being the size and the weight. I disagree that it is created flimsy I think it feels that method because it is smaller. But anyway...on to the issues with this fire and perhaps the first round of pre-order kindles are Guinee pigs which I don't mind if there will eventually be a satisfactory product to replace this piece of total crap...1. Battery life is TERRIBLE2. Screen Freezes3. screen unresponsive4. drops wireless connection connection5. Bluetooth turns on and off all by its small self6. Very slow browsing or maybe that is the screen freezing7. Crashes 80% of the time this thing is so slow and unresponsive that I am so satisfied when I can finally begin a book to read and then....crash8. Alexa doesn't hear me half the time or she is purposelly trying to annoy the hell out of me (b*tch)I have always been extremely satisfied with amazon kindles, be it an e-reader or fire tablet. I have owned and do own several there were some I had to exchange but in the end everything worked out and I was a satisfied kindle is kindle I am extremely disappointed with. Because I love the size, the weight, the color options and being able to switch from reading to surfing and not being cumbersome like the fire 10.I will be exchanging mine and hope I don't obtain one of the other unsatisfied customers refurbished piece of crap.Update...received my replacement kindle so far so amazing but..the other one worked amazing for about a week. Will post further updates.I do have to say that customer service was awesome. My exchange was not a problem. Thanks for that amazon and keeping fingers crossed on my replacement.

Insignia NS-32DF310NA19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV- Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-11-29 18:2

I bought this TV at Best Buy but since it's a Amazon/Best Buy collaboration I guess it's fine to write the review tting the TV out of the box is a PITA. They wish you to grab it by the plastic bag the TV is wrapped in but when you do it's almost glued to the box and requires you to summon Macho Man to help you in getting it e small legs that come in the box aren't labeled so it'll take a small guessing to search the one that works for each 'll need a phillips head screw driver to install the e packaging is a small misleading. It's an LCD TV with an LED backlight. Signing into all your accounts sucks because the remote isn't touch sensitive even though it REALLY looks like it is.Every time you turn the TV on, you obtain the home screen. It doesn't remember if you were using an Input or not. I really want I could disable some of the rows I'm now interested in using. When watching with an antennae it gives you the option to begin over, although I've never tried doing it to see what it actually does. Even has a tutorial for what antennae shows are on next which is nice.Overall for 329 it's not a poor TV. Im even considering buying another for another room in my home.

Insignia NS-32DF310NA19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV- Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-11-29 18:2

This seems like a very amazing deal, especially when I purchased it on on sale for 190. I had a 32 inch Samsung on the wall that decided to go out after 3 years service. I am thinking 3-5 years is about all a TV latest these days. So I hit Amazon and seen this Bestbuy/AmazonFire television and in a few days it was here. The only negative I had wasn't much and at this price point not worthy of a star deduction. The screws for the wall mount are not very wide and the holes on my older wall mount rails required washer to go with these screws or they would have passed right thru the rails. I just took the washers from my previous tv, you "may" need washers if you plan on wall mounting yours as well.I connected my Spectrum cable box to the HDMI, also added a digital antenna connection (quick channel scan found the stations in my area). I was going to use the Ethernet port but could not locate my cable, so decided to see how well the wireless connection would do. At this point I turned on the TV with the remote and was presented with a nice small video about the TV. I had the option of installing a FULL system or Primary system of APPs available. Seeing I just wanted Prime Videos and I already had a cable box hooked up, I chose the Primary system. The TV found the WiFi options available and I connected my 5g right to it. A fast modernize to the operating system downloaded and I was presented with a beautiful nice home screen. Tried the Alexa button and got my weather for my local zone easily. The Spectrum remote found the matching remote ID easily, which gives me options for volume and power when using the Spectrum remote. Back to the little remote that comes with the tv, it has everything you really need other than a method to change cable box channels. I went to Amazon Prime Video application and quickly added my acc information and watched films with no issue and without buffering or loss of quality on the wireless connection connection. For the heck of it I installed the youtube application and browsed the Internet with firefox and Silk Browser. Everything worked fine. I have yet to do anything to the default setup for the picture quality because it looks just fine, actually better than the older Samsung. Speaker Volume is even better than the older Samsung. This is going to come down to how long the TV last.(which I grabbed a cheap extension warranty) If it keeps going for around 4-5 years, this will be the bestbuy I could have received for my money. Are there better TVs out there? I am sure there are, but I doubt at this price point. Setup could not be easier. Quite impressed and satisfied during the Honeymoon.. I will modernize in the future if any problems pop up or when/if it goes out.

Insignia NS-32DF310NA19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV- Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-11-29 18:2

Beyond disappointing. Purchased this TV solely to have linked to my echo for the hands free voice control. It works for about 30 minutes, and then will proceed to tell me it "doesnt help that". I've run the gamut of factory reset, un plug, un link etc. Nothing works and Amazon customer service has no fix for me. I feel like I wasted my money, so to you I say save your cash and buy a better quality intelligent TV for the same price. I will change this review if they ever fix this and decide to support me

Insignia NS-32DF310NA19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV- Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-11-29 18:2

The TV itself seems OK, however, the menus are awful. I use cable most of the time, so it would be nice to obtain down to just the cable company remote and not have to use two various remotes to turn on the television every time. That is not possible with this TV. Even with the TV set to go to the latest used input, each time I turn it on, I obtain the main home menu. So, I need to use the TV remote to select the cable input and then the cable remote to tune to the channel I want. I suggest purchasing a real name brand and staying away from Best Buy / Insignia. Mine is going back.

We love this TV ... We bought the 24 inch TV and linked to to an Alexa device for the Kitchen as it fits under the cabinet. I linked it to our Echo Alexa device and it works great! For kitchen use, 720p is perfectly adequate, and it looks fantastic. I am thinking about getting a keyboard and mouse for it in order to create it easier to search recipes,

Super simple to place together and set up - took less than 15 mins from box to binge watching Netflix on a rainy day! Flawless navigation from Cable TV to Fire. Picture and sound are great!

Excellent size for my kitchen wall and with a swing arm I can turn it and watch cooking shows from the kitchen island. Very satisfied with the TV and set up.

This TV is the worst waste of money! Sound has QUIT after 7 months and it is rarely used! If you purchase thinking you will watch cable TV.... GOOD LUCK. You can not manually enter what channel nor can you say "channel 22" and think it will understand. NO, she will kindly find for a film named channel 22. You might say Ch 22 and it MIGHT. When attempting to scroll through channels to select they are in random order and only a limited few channels. I do want my husband had not thrown the box away or it would go back! This will likely go to junkyard/recycle bin!PROSGOOD PICTURELOOKS GOOD (If that matters to you)PRICE (Originally, I thought it was NOW I know it would be over priced at $5).CONS1. SAVE YOU BOX! YOU WILL RETURN2. BEWARE THE REMOTE IS LIKE THE ECHO/ALEXA REMOTE.3. NO NUMBERS TO ENTER CHANNELS FOR CABLE TV.4. ALEXA DOESN'T UNDERSTAND CHANNEL, CABLE TV, CABLE, TV, OR ANTENNA TO GET TO REGULAR CABLE TV.5. THIS TV WILL RAISE YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE DUE TO GETTING FRUSTRATED.6. I AM FAIRLY TECH SAVVY.7. THIS IS AN AWFUL EXCUSE FOR A N'T BE A FOOL LIKE ME! I READ REVIEWS AND YET I STILL PURCHASED IT BECAUSE I AM USUALLY GOOD WITH IS IS A POOR EXCUSE FOR A TELEVISION. THIS TV WOULDN'T BE WORTH THE HEADACHE IF IT HAD BEEN FREE!Good luck if you are foolish enough to buy this.

Insignia NS-32DF310NA19 32-inch 720p HD Smart LED TV- Fire TV Edition review [Book]  2019-11-29 18:2

TV is a P.O.S. Bought it for my mom after Thanksgiving. She's had issues since Dec. Now it's February and I gotta spend more cash to replace it. She only has 5 active apps to watch movies/tv; Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Tubi Television and Crackle. TV has already run out of zone and now she can't use it at all. Keeps telling her to delete apps and free up memory before it will allow her look at something besides a blue screen. We deleted Tubi and Crackle and it still doesn't work. Can't expand the memory either apparently, and I am tired of constant calls to come to her house on the other side of city to fix it. It's going in the trash and I will NEVER buy another Insignia or Amazon "SMART" TV again. EVER. Dumbest purchase I ever made.

rooCASE Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 Case - (2012 Previous Generation) Origami Slim Shell 7-Inch 7" Cover with Landscape, Portrait, Typing Stand - RED (with Auto Wake/Sleep Cover) review [Book]  2019-11-21 18:1

I required an alternative to the Amazon Leather case (since it doesn't fit my model) and after some searching found this case. It works perfectly and does just what I need it to do. People that see it think its beautiful only complaint is that the red one came in a brighter red than is shown on the screen. Bright enough that it wasn't just a screen photo problem but really a various color.

It fits my first gen Kindle Fire HD just fine. Not loose and it feels amazing in your hand, it has a rubber texture to it. I dont know if I am liking the origami top though. It flops around a bit but maybe I just need to obtain use to it. I would recommend it though for anyone that wants the origami experience. Would I buy another one for me? No, and its all because I have had regular cases and I just think they are going to latest longer.

I love this case, its lightweight and hardly feels like theres even a case on my kindle. I bought it to protect my kindle from scratches and wear. This case I don't think would protect much from drops, but thats not what I bought it for. The stand is amazing too…I use it so much sometimes its nice to just set it on a surface and read rather than holding it.

My favorite case. I like rooCases as they create quality. I have several cases and I tend to always look for a roocase when shopping for a case. You cannot go wrong with their oragami cases

Nice case. I like the folding cover. Better than covers that cost two-to-three times more.

Had to return the item as it came broken in the package. Seems like this wasn't as sturdy as it should be and it should not be packaged in a bubble mailer.

Back to wide screen! This is my replacement case having owned CaseCrown Bold Standby Case. The roocase functions basically the same as my old case, but some aesthetic differences create for a more enjoyable e casecrown case I previously owned was leather and had a design where it covered the black bezels around the screen which created for an SD result (although the kindle fire HD display in HD). Having switched cases I see a drastic improvement in viewing as it gives more screen true estate in terms of widescreen other difference is less bulk. The leather case on the casecrown added maybe 25-30 more bulk in terms of thickness. The Roocase on the other hand adds only 5-10% more bulk and feels very durable with the polycarbonate gnetic front cover with auto sleep/wake function works as ce feel. Although not being leather, the matte finish feels amazing in the hand and doesn’t seem like the Kindle Fire HD will take any hurt from minor e Origami stand works great. It takes a while to obtain used to, as you have to use it a dozen times to familiarize yourself with the grovesVery lightweight. The case doesn’t feel much heavier than without the case e only negative I can see for the case is that it covers the mic on the device. I personally never used the mic on the Kindle Fire HD so can’t really comment if it lowers the sound quality.Overall amazing case for the price
