In today's society, it's hard for most people to imagine life without private computers and the Internet. Public access to the Internet may be responsible for more changes in the method we carry out our day-to-day lives than any other happening in history. Today, businesses without www services are rarities, as are people in the free globe that don't spend at least part of their day using the Internet for one purpose or another.
I was referred by a mate to check this book out for support with creating contact forms.Upon reading I realized I was getting so much more...Plenty of information on scripting/programming fundamentalswith plenty of code supplied. I really liked the copy and paste options. I will refer to this book often!
This is a very interesting book for Beginners who'd like to explore what-the-heck PHO is and how it might apply to you. I learned that it is all about Web development, esp. In the zone of blogs! Since I went in knowing absolutely nothing, not even what the acronym stands for, I am very impressed.
I have a CIS degree and PHP is a very sought after skill in my field. I literally had one course that taught PHP so I've been looking to brush up on this skill. I found this book to be easy to under and everything was very well explained. This is a really amazing tutorial for beginners.
I used to work with PHP and CSS a small bit with my WordPress pages but never got any formal training for it. This was a amazing refresher for the PHP syntax and some of the other things I forgot to do (like embedding PHP). This will definitely come in use as a handy reference tutorial when I need it as I jump back into PHP. Recommended for anybody wanting to obtain a fast grasp on PHP fundamentals!
This is a amazing tutorial to teach the newcomer how to write code for a web site. I am a complete novice but this topic has intrigued me for a while and after reading this book, I have a much better grasp of the subject. Well written with lots of content. Well done!
I just got tired of reading and reviewing some of the literary, suspense and crime novels on Amazon. So I sought out a SIMPLE, HEARTWARMING ROMANCE NOVEL with believable twists and situations. Like an Arabian princess falling in love with a Californian rancher dude. I knew I couldn’t go wrong with one written by Susan Mallery, highly recommended by Booklist: "Romance novels don't obtain much better than Mallery's expert blend of emotional nuance, humor, and superb storytelling."That first line assured me I had picked a winner: “De-princessing one’s life wasn’t the easiest thing in the world.” So Princess Bethany of El Bahar since age 12, now 26, early decided to support out as a groom in her King Dad’s horse stables. She loves horses more than being a princess! Her King Dad sells one of her favorite horses, Rida, to an American rancher. Bethany asks to go along to create sure Rida gets safely to the fresh hany doesn’t wish to go as royalty but as plain Beth Smith, a stable hand and horse groomer. She carries out her fresh identity well, so well that when she falls madly in love with rancher Cade on that ranch, complications follow, including “mad love.” From that arise a lot of natural and humorous as well as tense situations. But what will happen if Cade learns the truth? The author skillfully lays the groundwork for all plot developments so they're believable. But – not all plans work out as hoped for by either Bethany or Cade. Broken hearts—ah yes, that’s usually central to a amazing romantic novel.OK, I have a confession – in my early writing days I wrote and sold confessions and romance stories. I’m a dude who loves a well-turned romantic novel. This one is a topnotch one, an simple but engrossing read.
This was such a heartwarming hany wanted to know what it was like not to be treated as royalty. When she had a possibility to visit California, she did not , she would be Beth Smith instead of Princess Bethany of El de had been damage before by some snob socialite. He did not wish to obtain involved w/ those kinds of women time was too many! When he meets Beth Smith, he is instantly attracted. And an added bonus, she is just like the girl-next-door type of woman. When secrets are revealed, will Cade still risk his heart?I loved the storytelling.I was so glad that Cade was not the stubborn sort + went after always wins in the end.
Some suggestion, in the do it yourself, place drag and drop the main commands of the lesson. So it makes easier to program in Mobile devices. On the lessons could have more examples of practical use of the element. Would be amazing to understand better how to use and when code.
Very rarely does one search a free online service that is of legitimate help. SoloLearn is a glittering example of that. It explains individual concepts as amazing as a professor in class would, and also illustrates them with true globe examples and provides a possibility to try our skills by coding it ourselves. Loved it!
I stopped after the first few pages because the writing is beautiful atrocious. It's a shame when writers take on historical periods and areas with which they are not familiar. There is no method that the heroine would dare speak to the character as brazenly as she did during their first meeting. It's simply unrealistic. The two girls behaved as toddlers and not as children of 12 and 9. What girl of 12 would grab onto her governess's leg and obtain dragged around the house hiding her face in her skirts? What on EARTH was that? What girl of 9 who was raised among actual humans would suck on her thumb as if it were a pacifier? During that time period, well bred girls of that age already exhibited excellent behavior and manners. I can suspend my disbelief for a plucky heroine if the time period is captured authentically, but this was just absurd. Give this one a miss, IMHO.
This is a delightful story that was a very enjoyable read. David Worthington, Duke of Penrose, as been given custody of two kids after the tragic death of their parents. Meredith Chambers has been their governess in America for a lot of years and brings them to England to be cared for by the Duke. She wants to remain as the children's governess, but David feels Meredith is not the right person for the job and wants to dismiss her. David's mother on the other hand decides to hire her to continue to care for the children, much to David's objections! What follows is a funny, emotional and a war of wills story that brings the Christmas spirit alive. This book will pull you in from the first page and hold your interest through the end. Callie Hutton is a amazing storyteller and brings the characters and story alive!
At this time of year I love all the novellas with a Christmas theme, nothing is worst then getting involved in a amazing story and life interrupts. Ms. Hutton is not someone that I have read before but this plot captured me because as someone who reads a lot of regency period historicals and romances, I was intrigued with her heroine. Merry didn't disappoint, why haven't we seen more American heroines like this?Basic Plot:Ms. Hutton's heroine is an American governess, Merry, who has been charged with the duty of bringing her two delightful charges (young girls) to their fresh guardian, the Duke of Penrose. To create matters more compelling one of the girls is on the cusp of young womanhood. The Duke of Penrose is a rigidly uptight peer who was in love with the girls' mother and is charged with raising daughters who could have been his own. The Duke is appalled by the young girls' behavior blaming their governess who he deems lacking in the social graces required for a proper English lady. What makes this atypical for a regency, is our Ms. Merry is not meek miss, she gives as amazing as she gets and the sparks fly between her and the Duke, which made a very satisfying read. Furthermore she wasn't portrayed like a lot of historical romance American misses are as a hoyden but had the interest of her charges at the forefront of her disputes with the Duke.If I can say one thing that was a drawback, the story was too short. Yes, I know it was a novella but the characters were so well developed, the plot special and Ms Hutton voice to make the potential for a full-length story. Though within the framework of a novella she didn't rush to the HEA and there was believable growth by the Duke something often lacking in novellas.A four and half star read and one of this best this holiday season.
This is very nice story, a lovely romance with a couple that is quite opposite in a lot of aspects (an arrogant English duke with a lively and independent American governess) but that complement each other quite perfectly. I also enjoyed a lot the hero of the dowager ( the duke's mother ) and her schemes to see her son happy..Overall, a fun and fast read. Only four stars for me because there is no epilogue and I love it when the authors give us a picture of what happened after the "happy ever after".As a side comment: I've read a couple of reviews complaining about the "explicit sex scenes",: I think they were expecting a typical sweet regency Christmas story but for me those scenes were fine and not disconnected from the plot. Maybe what it should be done, is a better categorization of the books from amazon so that customers do not pick books that may offend them...
This was my first book by this author and it was a beautiful amazing read. The main characters were beautiful well developed, each had a completely various background and temperament. I liked the Dowager Duchess, she was a amazing secondary hero and really kept the fun in the story. The main female was strong, spoke her mind but wasn't rude about it. One thing that does wear on a reader is the repetitiveness of the same thing. I can't love him, above my station, not amazing enough-blah blah blah. This book had some of that but not to the point of screaming. Will check out a couple more of her books. A amazing read.
I loved this book, but it was over in a flash, or so it seemed. That would probably be my only complaint, that there could have been a small more of the 'will they or won't they?'The Duke of Penrose 'inherits' his best friend's two daughters and their brash, young, American governess, Miss Merry Chambers, who he thinks is incapable of raising his two young wards into proper English women when his mate and his wife are killed in an accident. So he decides to hire a more proper ars ago, his mate and the duke had both wooed the same woman, but Elinor chose his mate and the duke swore never to marry. When Miss Merry enters his life, all he can see is a woman who will not accept orders from anyone, including a duke. What his mother, the Dowager Duchess of Penrose sees is a woman who brings out another side to her son, a side she feared was long gone, a more playful less stodgy side. Her son is determined to hire a fresh governess to raise his young wards though and Miss Merry's days in the duke's residence seem numbered, so his mother decides to hire her as her on the duke realizes that perhaps his decision to never wed may have been a bit too harsh.Sparks fly from the start. Merry & David are charming, as is this Christmas tale.Enjoy!
love this book! I love Christmas stories so I had to read this book too. This is the first book I have read by this author. the American governess Merry won't disappoint you in this story. The Duke of Penrose dislikes her, and detests his attraction to her. a unbelievable read! You will have fun the sparks flying!
What a sweet and fun twist to Jane Eyre! This time the heroine is American; Meredith Chambers, Merry. She is full of compassion for the two girls she's been caring for, as well as Merry is not the kind of women who could be steamrolled over by the Duke of Penrose, who is quite used to being obeyed--so related to Mr. Edward Rochester! Like the amazing classic characters, Penrose is won over by Merry's integrity, grit, and spirit, and don't worry. Penrose isn't all pompous arrogance dressed sharply by aristocracy. Underneath his title is a very sweet, considerate, and romantic man, who has delicious dreams of real is lovely book, all wrapped in sparkling Christmas paper, makes it a excellent fast read for the Holidays!
This is a wonderfully sweet story even though it has sex stage which is touching rather than salacious. I loved this story. Duke meets American girl who is governess to his fresh wards. He fires her as he doesn't believe she can teach the girls proper etiquette. The Duke's mother hires her as a companion and the sparks begin to fly between the Duke and the governess. Do yourself a favor and buy this book. Fast read.
Very delightful story!! I love the plot within the plot and the entire ribbon of theme as it all came together. I honestly didn't wish it to end so soon. Will there be another sequel to continue the story? It is honestly too amazing to stop everything now!!! If Callie Hutton will continue with this line of the story I would gladly volunteer to type it for her, or even throw in a few ideas of my own for the various characters she has created!! Just think about a sequel for it, PLEASE!! Much too GOOD to place down now!!!
