I have not had any issues logging in or answering security questions unless I'm entering the wrong answers. I've locked myself out before but it gives you 3 attempts before doing so, wld u rather give someone the ability to have unlimited chances to access ur account? Where's the security in tht? This app is extremely case sensitive. The way you originally set it up is how you have to log on every single time. Why would I fault NavyArmy for doing their job and making my info as secure as they can?
I am able to login with my userid and password. When the security question comes up and I enter it and press continue it just erases the answer and wants me to continue to enter password. Can't get passed security question to actually see my account. Don't have issues with online banking. Takes my security questions just fine. Called the Credit Union and the rep stayed on the phone to see if it would work. App does not work. Has some kind of glitch. Very frustrating.
It's nice to know my balance and know where the money had been pulled from but what i really want is for it too show me pending transactions... It would be nice for it too display my account number it would be cool if it could send me password requests to my phone or have security questions... But other than that it's ok.. Also would love if it has an accept button like if we would like to accept certain transactions or a plan to pay bills like we set up dates and times for it to pay certain monthly bills..
Love navy army i do but web not android friendly and the app been frozen for over two months now. I've even gone in and had a rep log on write every answer on a cheat cheat. I'll keep them as a savings plus they have free atm withdraws at stripes. But as for my direct deposit I'm bank else where. So many calls so many emails two in person two much for my money.
I really like this app it has worked fine for me there were some glitches but they're all good now awesome job thank you Navy Army. I feel if you have problems just call the bank they will help you as they always do. You need to give this app a chance it will work for you.
BEST NEW FEATURE= ACCT BALANCE QUICK VIEW!!! I generally dislike big "corporate" banks, but I've been suprisingly satisfied with BOA for 20+ years & LOVE the app!!! MY ONLY COMPLAINT= mobile deposit checks appear as part of my "available balance" BEFORE THEY ACTUALLY CLEAR!!! Nice to access the $ earlier but not if someone writes you a rubber check- EEEK!!! FEATURE REQUEST= a button to dispute a charge/BOA fee where I'm viewing it, and/or a button to request a BOA call- PREFERABLY FROM SOMEONE AT MY LOCAL BRANCH!!!
With just one fingerprint to sign on everything I need to know about my accounts is right there. Easy to navigate, transfer funds, send money to someone knowing only their phone number. It really doesn't get any easier than this. I have my Bank of America app on all my devices. How did I get by without this? GREAT app!
I really like the ease of using the BOA mobile app. I set up my monthly bills to be paid on a certain date and never have to worry if they are being paid on time. Get account balances, debit and credit activities reminders, and alerts for every transaction. Cannot remember the last time I was in the bank. LOVE IT!
New: mobile deposit [email protected]#$%! or miss. Sometimes it takes me 7-8 times to complete the deposit because the information on the check is not being read correctly. This is over 3 phones with current software and hardware. Over all, good. Update 10-16-17 Still having issues with mobile check deposit. Disabling background apps defeats the purpose of multitasking. Not recommended for that feature.
I never had any issues, always bringing nice updates and better features to the app without necessarily making it look complicated. Very user friendly, you don't need anyone to teach you anything in order to use this app. Saves me a lot of hassle and time. Thanks
Setting up the initial service was a major inconvenience and frustrating experience. I initially tried to enroll after setting up the account online, but was redirected. Then had to wait for a PIN go be mailed, locked myself out, and then called in to resolve. Other than that, I was happy to see the many options available to manage my accounts within the app itself. Many that aren't available with my accounts at other banks.
I recommend this app highly, very professional, easy understanding user friendly and secure, the best part about this app, I don't have to drive I can make transactions 24/7 from the comfort of my home. Thanks Bank of America, for resolving the wait in time consuming lines, and given us online and on time Banking.
Worst banking app and company I have ever had to do business with. I had an account a total of 2 days, was able to make a deposit, order a debit card and checks, setup direct deposit through my employer, then my account was closed without any reason or notification on the 3rd day. I called to try to resolve the issue and was told bank of America didn't want my business and wasn't given an explanation as to why. I will never use this bank again and I will spread my experience around so everyone else will know of the shawty business practices of bank of America and how they treat their customers.
Gave it a 1 star review for a bit because they took away the option to see all of my transactions. They returned it so I wanted to re-rate. Didnt give a full 5 because they messed with it originally. Thankfully they brought it back so I didnt have to switch.
I liked the old version of the Bank Of America app, this one doesn't let me transfer to my savings / doesn't notify me of my account balances. It's so fusterating calling the Bank for a week straight now and all they do is put my money on hold. Not cool when you need cash for an emergency. Smh
When signing in I'm sent a authentication code by text or email. By either method I'm forced to minimize the app to access the code. When returning to the app I find I've been logged out and have to start over. When designing an app it's best if you actually use it to reveal issues like this before releasing it.
This was a great app until the update. I could sign in with my fingerprint and view more than my 4 most recent transactions. Now it says I have a different mobile account and I have to log out of it to use my fingerprint (I don't have one) and there's no way to view more than 4 transactions. I'm really disappointed with this.
In general, I love the app and have never had problems. With the most recent update, however, once I sign into my account, if I click on anything at all, I have to log in for a second time, and that is soooooooo annoying. Please fix this bug! I'll be happy to be your guinea pig if you need beta testers! I have experience.
This app is terrible compared to the previous access. What bothers me most is your implementing this and taking down the previous access without advising your customer. Base. Even when you try it does maintain your access code and your password. .This should be removed immediately and return to the previous accesd.
App works well enough. Though it can be intrusive by forcing the app on-screen to login again, despite the fact that I backed out of it long ago. If I want to use the app, I'll click on it, stop forcing it on my screen when I'm trying to do something else.
Edit 9/22/2017... the updates over the years have paid off - exactly what I want from my banking app. fingerprint access, nickname accounts for easy comprehension, billpay very intuitive, transfer between accts easy, and direct Contact Us access. Some new bells and whistles are interesting, but the BAM app gets the primary stuff right. compatible with samsung pay a huge plus. Sprint S6, stock nougat
Alerts work sporadically. I have an alert set for both my checking and savings accounts to alert me of when direct deposits post on both accounts (which is multiple direct deposits on every Friday). This alert has stopped working recently the alerts are turned on in settings for both accounts. I also have an alert set for daily balance for checking. That one works. Needs to be looked into.
This app started off buggy a while ago with frequent problems getting checks to be accepted. Now the pic is accepted nearly 100% of the time and the fingerprint unlock works great. Kudos to working through the bugs and making this app one of the best and most useful period!
