Whenever my phone would switch to a various application like a web browser, the call-at-hand's window will disappear. This leaves the call stranded with you unable to hang up or transfer to a various line. Very frustrating
I love the application and use it fanatically. However one glitch in this ver 5.x is quite annoying. When you modernize a contact in your address book, you cannot see this entry later when you browse and find for the address book. But when you keep a call from the same number, the contact name you just saved will appear.
Works well for what I need with minimal interference! Only downside can be if I am getting texts or calls and my vibration is on then it doesnt seem to tone them down like my normal calling application would. Over all amazing app!
Bria is a really amazing SIP client with lots of features and even if it does not have all the possible settings, like a fixed jitterbuffer of predtermined size its still impressive with really amazing voice quality. One thing to emphasize is that Bria is a SIP phone and that handling and setting up equipment for SIP and the associated RDP stream is not really intended for the consumer market. Bria can handle server side setting of parameters but SIP is a bit complicated with plenty of options and possible configurations like codecs, transverse tactic and similar. The possible configuration problems. This has nothing to do with Bria more than that the application is able to handle lots of SIP configurations. If ypu fail to set them right, dont blame the product.
So far, it's great. I would like to see a persistent notification status icon, though. For a program like this, the notification icon at the top would allow me know it hasn't shut down on me. As I use an SIP client for work, knowing that the application is still active in the background with a fast glance at the top of my screen would be helpful. Also, allowing the application to remain active even after it is swiped away from the latest apps window would be a amazing feature.
Hi, guys it is a amazing application, however I am facing some issues. First issue when the the phone is locked it does not unblock my phone to accept or reject the call. I have to unblock the phone and then go into application. This consumes time. Second problem is that when I have connected my Bluetooth headset it seems that a cannot respond it without opening the phone and going into app again. Very annoying as I am a taxi driver. So always constant driving can be a driving hazard. Please rectify these issues as these things should be standard as softphone provider
