Ausranvik Protective Cover 48 Quart Car Fridge Car Refrigerator review [Book]  2019-12-6 18:23

Bought the Refrigerator several months ago and very happy. Noticed though that when compressor running and the set point down in the 30s, that the sides were a bit cold - indicating that the unit could benefit from a small more insulation. (I think it is beautiful amazing as is though) So....This month I ordered the matching insulated cover (seemed a bit pricey at first glance but wait until you see how it is created and how well it is made) for this refrigerator. Major satisfied with it. Amazing quality obvious, Seriously well created and once installed, I ran a functional try of the fridge - only this time using an infrared thermometer. The box pumped down from ambient (81 degrees F) to the set point of 39 degrees F in just under a half hour. (Insulated cover installed and in MAX mode - no internal meal load). It overshot down to 33 degrees. At this point, a IR scan of the outer cover revealed that the top was just 2 degrees below ambient and the sides right down by the "freezer section" were only a few degrees colder. This is seriously impressive. But then it got better. After an hour, and I had switched it to ECON mode, the box was at set point and the cover measured right at ambient. In other words, there was almost NO thermal loss. Anecdotally, if you put your hands anywhere on the cover while running, it no longer feels cooler (with cover installed) I continue to be impressed and satisfied camper....literally. The cover - and the refer - are well worth the money.

Originally the wrong size was shipped out, but a fast email to the seller and a fresh one was on its way! The item fits excellent and protects the cooler as it should. [email protected]#$%! insulted a bit more, but it’s just fine as is. Would recommend this to go along with your cooler.

I bought the refrigerator before buying the cover. I saw that The cover was also sold, but debated on whether or not I required it. Surely, it can't be all that out was hyped up to be, could it? I did buy the cover and the difference a couple weeks later. The internal temperature is remarkable after the cover was place on the refrigerator. My soda was still cold in the refrigerator after a long 12 hour day and it was not plugged into the car.

I always joke about our clamping / camping trips, but this product was no joke. We started with cold drinks which makes a huge difference when biking in the Colorado mountains in the Summer. But, soon, we are having salads for lunch instead of protein bars, next egg sandwich wraps for breakfast instead of reconstituted egg powder over a butane stove. New fruit on day 5 of a camping trip! Worth the cost, and the cover makes a difference.

I bought this cover for my 26 Quart Ausranvik Vehicle Fridge. Slipped right on and it cuts down noticeably on the noise coming from the unit. It appears support insulate as well as the cycle times are both shorter and farther apart which should support with keeping the battery charged longer.

Used this item as an alternate fridge in my camper. Unit is very efficient, cools quickly and very quiet operating. With no heat strip between the fridge and the freezer compt, it tends to sweat @ the gaskets.

Bought this to use for camping, powering it with a Yeti 1000. Arrived in amazing condition, and seems to work well in my initial testing. Temperature actually seems beautiful accurate, at least at the bottom of the chest. Note that the cold is just radiated from the sides (and bottom?) and there's no fan to circulate the air (I think all of these type of fridges work that way). So there can be a substantial difference between the sides/bottom and the middle, but over time it seems to even out. Might invest in a small fan to hold the air circulating.Overall, the build and quality seems amazing and everything works great. I suspect the Yeti 1000 can hold this running for several days. Mostly plastic, so I'm going to test and be careful and not beat it up too bad; especially the latches and hinges. We'll see how it holds up being transported and actually used ... hopefully will latest for a while (will test to report back after a few trips). But so far this seems like a bargain at this price.Update 8/25/19 - took this camping latest week and it worked like a champ. Ran it 3 days on the Yeti 1000 no problem. Only problem is that it got colder than I realized at the bottom, and we accidentally froze some cucumbers. So, have to a be a small careful with how things are arranged.

Received the unit latest week, tested it out in the garage on 12 volt and on 120 volt. The set temperature and true temperature it off about two degrees. I love the feel of the handles and how simple it is to move. It fits perfectly in the spot I measured it for. Hard to tell how a lot of amps it used in 12 volt but didn't result the voltage on the batteries very much. I did have a 100 Watt solar panel to hold the batteries charged. I would recommend the unit. I just hope it lasts for at least three years.

I set the temperature at 34 and it fluctuate between 32 and 37. I place 2 bottles of water frozen at the bottom and placed everything on top. The frozen water helped hold things cool when we stopped. I read reviews that complained about the flimsy shipping box and I agree. Fortunately, the refrigerator was not damaged. I am satisfied that I purchased it.

I have an off grid houseboat with 600w solar array on the roof. I've been looking for a method to just hold some drinks cold, something I could leave on 24/7 without fear of draining the batteries. This fits the bill perfectly and I can run it off the 120v system or save a few watts and power directly from the solar controller 24v supply. I hold it at 40F and it doesn't have to run much at all to maintain that temp.Having a compressor like a true refrigerator it cools very quickly, but it does take much longer for the contents to cool down as there is no air circulation inside. Not a huge deal for us, just don't expect your warm beer to obtain cold in 30 minutes. The instructions on the fridge itself are not quite right and it took a small experimentation to figure everything out.Overall I'm very pleased. As long as it lasts for some time (I'll modernize if it breaks) I would highly recommend this.

The refrigerator was delivered dead on arrival, but costway worked with me to replace it quickly. The fresh unit worked just fine. I'm just back from an outing. 85 degrees outside. The fridge was fairly full of items that was cold and the setting was at 35 degrees. It had no issue keeping the inside at that temp. It would kick on for about 15 seconds each 10 mins or so and drawing a bit over 4 amps when running. If you have limited power (I have a 12v 140amp bank with solar) then a thermal wrap would probably do a globe of good. Want they sold one.

I was apprehensive about buying an off-brand truck fridge, but I couldn't swing the expense of a brand-name unit. After 4 months and 4 street trips, I am beautiful happy with my purchase.Having a fridge instead of a cooler is a huge android game changer for camping trips and off-road adventures. We can stock up on raw foods, dairy, and produce--without worrying about meal safety or having to buy ice every day on the road. And when we obtain home, instead of throwing everything away as a soggy mess, we can shuttle leftovers and condiments back into the kitchen fridge.I also love that it comes with an AC adapter, so if we are staying at a hotel or crashing at a mates house, we can just lug the whole thing inside and plug it in. However, be advised that it is a bit on the noisy side, so you might have problem sleeping if it's plugged in next to your bed.On the trail, we have had no issue running it on battery power throughout the night, so far for up to about 24 hours, in weather peaking around 80 or 90 degrees in the day. I did preemptively make batter to a premium AGM battery before buying the fridge, but I'm not using any kind of multi-battery or charge-monitoring system. I just hold an eye on the battery voltage as the night progresses.Honestly the only criticism I can offer is that the fridge is a bit noisy for indoor use, and that the power plug tends to rattle loose in off-road driving. Sometimes I [email protected]#$%! was bigger, that it had a separate freezer compartment, or that it could print $100 bills... But in terms of its actual specs, I'd say it does beautiful well.

UPDATE: After less than three months the compressor has quit working. The cooling fan for the compressor is still running but not the compressor. Have just email the supplier (Costway) so I will modernize the results.I like this and I'm using it as a freezer in my RV on 12 volts. Cools down fast. Not much power. I had to turn it up a bit because the Ice cream was too hard to scoop. this freezer sit in under storage compartment in 110 F temperature and still works amazing :-) Amazing Freezer.

Aspenora Car Refrigerator 30-Quart Portable Freezer Compressor Electric Cooler Car fridge Portable Freezer Mini Fridge with Freezer -4°F ~ 68°F - 12V/24V DC (30-Quart) review [Book]  2019-12-6 18:38

I bought this cooler for an upcoming street trip. I thought it would be so much better plugging it into a rear cigarette lighter than dealing with ice, draining water, adding ice, draining water, and I think you obtain the picture. What I didn't expect was our beverage refrigerator to die on us. My wife quickly suggested we test this cooler since it's just sitting there waiting for us to go away in the near future. It came with the cigarette plug and an AC adapter, so we plugged it in. It seemed like it was down to temperature in less than 30 minutes, and the thing I loved about it when I was setting the temperature was that you could set it below 32 degrees. That means that you can use it as a freezer also! Since our dead beverage center was really meant for beverages, it only went down to 34 degrees. In its current use, it will be running straight for days, so only time will tell how it holds up. I also took the opportunity to use it in the vehicle for a full day trip. The only thing I would say to be aware of is proper ventilation around the outside of the cooler.I did experience a little problem with the refrigerator, but the seller was extremely responsive and took immediate corrective action.

Aspenora Car Refrigerator 30-Quart Portable Freezer Compressor Electric Cooler Car fridge Portable Freezer Mini Fridge with Freezer -4°F ~ 68°F - 12V/24V DC (30-Quart) review [Book]  2019-12-6 18:38

First off, I was surprised how well the refrigerator / freezer was packed. I did a quiet a bit of research before investing in a fridge/freezer, and finally created my choice based on a combination of specifications and is thing cools quickly and does the job perfectly. I am extremely impressed by it. I plugged it in, set it to 34F and after about 15 minutes it was there.I bought it for a few reasons, I have a generator so will be nice when camping and having cooled drinks/food. We tail gate at the local college football android games so that is a HUGE plus to have cold drinks so I don’t have to spend a fortune for stadium drinks. Pus, when I go visit my father he asks me to go to the local Korean shop and bring back meal since there is nothing like that round his place.I did a try to see how much this 30 quart fridge/freezer actually holds. Of course this caries with the type of bottles you use. As you can see in the picture that if you stand beer bottles straight up you obtain about 22 and 4 cans on the side. If you stagger the beers on their side I am able to obtain more, 28! I don’t like this as much but amazing to ce that it comes with AC and DC power adapter. Plus it is very quite. I am impressed how well it works and look forward to using it.

This refrigerator cools very quick and simple to set the temperature. The zone is also really nice for a mini fridge. I tried testing it with my FLUKE multimeter and the temperature is very close. My multimeter says it was 38F and the fridge was 37F. This is also very portable for camping and other trips.

COSTWAY Car Freezer, 121.5 Quart Compressor Travel Refrigerator -0.4°F to 50°F, Single Door Vehicle Fridge, Refrigerator with LCD Display & Lighting Bulbs, For Car, Home, Camping, Truck (121.5 Quart) review [Book]  2019-12-6 18:38

This had no reviews, so I hesitated to buy it, but i'm very satisfied with it. It seems well built, and works well. When I tested the power draw, it's 48 watts when the compressor is on. Testing over 3 days after it stabilized, the compressor comes on only about 1/5 of the time, and draws an average of 11 watts to stay at 40 degrees while in my house at 66 deg. So in terms of the room-fridge temperature difference that's 0.4W/(deg F) or 0.8W/(deg C) on average. That's less than the rating (1.1 W/(deg C)) that Dometic gives on their CFX40 that costs twice as much, so I'm satisfied with this e noise is more than a typical huge kitchen fridge. When the compressor is on it sounds about as loud as my laser printer while it's printing. We'll be using this in our van and sailboat, and will have to learn to sleep with it turning on and e shallow compartment above the compressor (labeled "Dairy") is warmer than the rest of the fridge by about 10 deg F at its bottom and 4 deg F at its top. The huge compartments are colder at the bottom than the top.

We have previously had the 12-volt thermoelectric coolers that brings the temp down but not cool enough to hold some foods safe so we opted to obtain this refrigerator, that can also be turned into a freezer if needed. We've had it two days and it is working perfectly. I had it set for 40 degrees and actual temp got to 38. Quiet operation too...

used this on a 5900 mile summer trip, It worked amazing until we got home. Only issues we had were the connections are not tight , the handle is a small flimsy as ours popped out without much force, and on high energy input it blew out our A/C output , Hold it on med or low when in the car,Other than those ,It kept our meal and wine cold.

I was hesitant in buying any of these little “portable” coolers for fear of junk. All of them are almost identical, all are created in China , all have same or related features. Confusing.I took a shot on this one, is 63 quart fridge is not something I’d bring on the street in my truck. It’s large, dimentionally and weight is about 60lbs. Not simple for one person especially if it’s filled. I’m using it for a 100% Off Grid cabin where it will just sit and hold things cold.Once I got it to the cabin/ excellent! 90 degree day, cooled to 32F in about two hours. I’m running it Off my 1000 amp hour battery bank fed by solar. Impressive LOW consumption of electricity. Peak 5 amp draw on begin up for two hours to reach set temp. Once there it would run 20 mins at 4 amps, off for ten minutes, run another 20 etc. that’s 40 minute of run time per hour at 4 amps. I have LED lights that use more electricity. Impressive.Quiet as hell. Little cabin and no background noise and the fridge was not intrusive at all. The wind outside created more noise. Sorry, no decibel readings but it’s super quiet.I was surprised at capacity. 30+ beer bottles in main compartment, meal for two days in basket on smaller side. Could easily fit plan is to build this into a cabinet so it’s out of the method but it could easily stay out in the begin on its own.I read the insulation was inadequate. Incorrect. There’s enough insulation to hold things at temp. At lowest setting it held temp within two degrees for twenty plus mins with a full fridge. People complaining about a two degree fluctuation are absurd. I’d bet their home fridge swings more than that. That said, once it’s built into a cabinet I’d expect better efficiency due to increased e unit puts out a very low level of heat, all fridges do. It also needs air circulation or it can’t cool so don’t box it in without air flow.Ultimately, i was reluctant to drop the cash on it but I’m more than impressed. Presently, at time if writing this I’ve only had the possibility to use it for four days straight in 90 degree weather in a cabin so can’t speak to longevity- but if it dies I’ll fix and continue onward if company doesn’t stand behind their product. Also, to all the “my fridge arrived damaged” claims, my fridge arrived in excellent condition. Really impressed, really satisfied I bought it and I’ll allow you know if that changes.UPDATE AUGUST 2019 - Had a minor glitch with the fridge. Something odd was happening. It would work all weekend and then when I left and returned a week later it was OFF. I was fortunate that I hadn't left any meal in there, just beer. It seemed as though the power cord was loose in the fridge so I thought it was either the cord was poor or the plug panel on the fridge was loose inside the fridge. Contacted the company and they were great. Quick response, helpful and they sent out a fresh power cord asap. In the meantime I took the panel off of the fridge (six screws) and pulled the wiring out and sure enough, there was a loose connection on the panel. Someone at the factory simply hadn't pushed the wire onto the connection all the way. Simple fix, closed the panel up and amazing to go for the past few months. Love the fridge. I hold it at about 40F (5C) when I am away and turn it down to zero or negative numbers when I am around so the beer is super cold. It will freeze water if you turn it down below freezing so watch out.I am going to buy another smaller fridge for the back of my truck. I really like this fridge!

This thing cools quickly, and does the job perfectly. I am extremely impressed by it. I plugged it in, set it to 1C, and within 15 minutes it was there. After filling it about half way, it cooled it back down very nicely. Drinks do very well in here, as do meats and stuff. Not impressed with salads and greens being placed in it. But... There is no humidity control, so that's the reason. Don't expect a product to do anything it isn't designed to do.

I tested this unit in the house and it seemed to work well. It went from 74F to 32F in about 30 mins and it held within 3 degrees of 32F over 24 hours. Still need to try it using a amazing deep cycle battery but I expect it will do just fine. Fit and finish is very good. Controls are simple to adjust. It could be a small difficult to create changes if the unit is not elevated off the ground. It runs beautiful quietly. The interior light works well in low light conditions. Will be using on a 10 day camping trip in 4 weeks. Will review again at the end of the trip.

This unit is a amazing value, for a reason. I unboxed the unit and was a bit confused at first - the brand name on the unit is "Stakol". I thought that maybe an Amazon picking robot might have shipped me the wrong thing. No, it's the same fridge as pictured with the Stakol logo where the Costway logo should be. Inside ceiling of the unit had random tooling scuffs - I don't mind that, but it is indicative of their level of quality control. As someone who works in the consumer devices space, I can say that the fit and finish of the unit is less than desirable. (See above comments re tooling marks) AND one can easily see that the closing clasps on the lid were attached in a slap-dash manner - they are off kilter. The controls are easy to operate, however the display unit displays an odd notice when the compressor is running. It says "R-Box". Not sure what it means (the manual didn't say) , so it should not be displayed IMO. The unit cools down quick and is energy efficient. The unit does seem slightly louder than I would expect.Having said all of that, I am enjoying the unit and I enjoyed the fact that it was less than half the price of the Dometic, so 4 stars. Thanks.

Used this on a 4000 mile, 10 day street trip, plugged into our van's cigarette lighter. Super quiet, kept the meal cold. Temperature control isn't labeled as to units/levels on the front of the fridge, so be aware of that when you plug it in. Had enough room to hold a family of 6 stocked for a day and a half of eating on the road.

It’s a unbelievable freezer, except the dimensions list it as 19” high - It is 21” high which makes it just a bit too high to fit in out motorhome compartment. The company gave me a $25 credit for the trouble.

Did a bunch of research on costway products. Decided on the 63qt. Plugged it in at readout said 90 deg. Set it to 30 and it took under 20 minute to obtain down to 30 deg. Super impressed. Compressor motor not very loud at all. More like a white noise.

Works great, but create sure your vent slots are unobstructed, or the fridge will not work. Do yourself a favor and read the instructions...save yourself some headaches. I didn’t know that obstructing the vents would conquer the fridge, but figured it out later, after the meal was spoiled. Unfortunately, the instructions read like jibberish. Only ½ page of the 4 page document, 1/8th of the data, provides essential information...7/8ths of the document gives idiotic tip like, ‘don’t use underwater’ and ‘don’t place in the dishwasher,’ when clearly there is no home dishwasher that could possibly accommodate the fridge because of its size. If the manufacturers would hire an ad agency to shop these things, or at least a person fluent in English, the instructions would have been clear...Chinese does not translate into English easily nor well, because the method both peoples think is fundamentally different. Asians think conceptually, whereas English speakers think linearly...that’s why the instructions read like jibberish and are generally incomprehensible...you have to ‘read between the lines.’ I’ve seen signs on motels owned by Chinese families that tout, ‘We specialize in happy’...clearly not a native English speaker. But back to the point; this is essentially a DC fridge with an inverter to use as an AC fridge. The cord into the inverter has a nasty method of disengaging itself, so secure it with electrical tape or a cord clamp. Both DC and AC cords (with inverter) are included. This thing is huge, seeming to be about 2’ X 2’ X 3’, so it’ll fit into a smaller SUV, but you won’t be able to begin it inside your vehicle. Loaded with food, it’s too massive to move about easily...but it holds a lot. For a tailgate party, it would be ideal. Spring loaded carrying handles snap back down into position, and the two stainless toggle clamps hold it securely closed. All in all, a amazing small top loading fridge for traveling with unclear, yet hilarious instructions.

Okay, I only just got this yesterday, TWO DAYS earlier than the shipping notice said it would obtain here! I love it when that happens!!! So given that I just got it, I wanted to say this is awesome! Took it out of the packing, plugged it in, and set it to freezer mode and it came right on and started bringing the temp right down!!! It's supper quiet, so much so that I had to obtain down near the vents to be able to here it purring!!! This is NOT going to be a issue in the camper at all!!! I'll modernize this more after I've had a possibility to play with it some more, but I'm already loving it so much!!!8/15/2019 @ 1640EDT Update!I was waiting to begin seriously using this until I got the rest of my electrical system built but wanted to try this a bit more. So I plugged it into one of the 12dc sockets on my dash and allow it run of my starting battery. It got down to below feezing quickly and six hours later had frozen the gallon of water I'd left in there. Now it's been several days running off the 12 battery that starts my vehicle and has kept that gallon frozen. Left it sitting overnight and into the next day without starting my rig, and it stayed on the whole time and my rig continues to start. It makes so small noise when it's running that I have to actually listen to see if it's yeah, I totally love this fridge!!!

I chose 4 stars because it is fun but the happenings are a small too hard like the halloween happening the course seems a small too long i obtain it is supposed to be hard but we already suffer for the keys, killing the enemies, and escaping. And you have to wait 24 hours.

The recent ver has bugs. If i die in underground levels and after I watch the ad in order to restore my life, the android game regenarates me in the air. then I end up flying in an empty zone without end. I forced to close the android game and reopen the app.

Simple, crappy android game built for nothing but to generate ad revenue. Wish to make batter your car? Watch an ad. Finish a level, ad. Starting a level, ad. Die in the level and wish to respawn without restarting, ad. Just overwhelming ads and the android game is just a generic piece of trash. Don't waste a min of your life.

Android game accidentally uninstalled. So I installed again and started but it didn't shop my latest level. It is coming from middle level. Very worst system management and waste of time.

Look like some nice game, the forced ads also understandable, tho the option select animation is too slow. Usually I'm very busy, so that 1-2 sec of delay feels suoer long.
