There’s just something about NR Walker and her writing I just click with. No matter what tale she spins, the quirkiness of her characters just outright appeals to me and she is an instant one click, don’t even think about nor hesitate type of purchase for me. Bossy is yet again another hit. Loved the method Michael and Bryce met and connected. Also Bryce’s business idea. Honestly never heard of the whole style before and I am now completely fascinated that I simply HAVE to test this type of coffee. Amazing characters, amazing feels and a HFE. Read it!!
So I have to say that On Davis Row is my favorite book by this author and I don’t see that changing. But this book definitely ranks in the top five. The characters were well-developed. The dialogue was fun and free-flowing. The angst was low, and even though I’m an angst girl, I still remained invested in the story. I loved Bryce, but Michael stole my heart. This is a book I’ll be reading more than once.
There aren't enough stars to rate this unbelievable read! This just became one of my favorite N R Walker books!Pardon me for all the exclamation points but I can't support fan-girling all over! She's done it again. What a fun story. This book is yet another example of why I up and buy each of her books the min I learn about 'am, please hold writing. I have lots of room left on my Kindle. And, for the record, I'm on my 2nd Kindle cause the first one just didn't have the storage zone for all the books I want-- like the next 100 of yours...
5 stars!! 🤩🤩 Loved it! ❤️ This book was just so effortless, it almost felt like I was with them, listening to their conversations and getting a peek at their relationship as it grew from "hook-up strangers" to soulmates. I just couldn't stop smiling..😊 through-out... 😍 I loved both Michael and Bryce; they were extremely genuine and it felt very true how surprised they were by each other's identities. And once they started developing feelings for each other it felt natural and sweet how they were so open, trusting and supportive of each other.I wanted to take down a star or half for the rushed ending. Nevertheless, the overall "feel-good" factor of the book is so high that I didn't wish to take anything from the review. 👍💘
Told in dual POV, just the method I liked it. I loved the set up and the ssy Nights is Tessa & Barclay clay is dominating, smart, successful, powerful, and handsome. However, what I love most about him, is his soft, sweet and caring side.Even though Tessa was naïve, I absolutely loved her tenacity, her hard-working spirit, her determination and optimism. She was fearless to move to a huge town in order to follow her dreams. She's my kind of heroine! From the moment Tessa & Barclay locked eyes for the first time, you can feel sparks fly. I loved following their journey, and watching them struggle to resist their feelings and physical attraction for each other, due to company rules after they end up working e chemistry between Tessa & Barclay was off the charts. I cried, laugh, cheer for and with them. Their banter was funny and playful. This was indeed, a very delightful read, beautifully well-written, fast-paced and with all the feels.I highly recommend it!!
3.5 stars-I am a fresh reader to Liv Morris. I have enjoyed the story overall but felt some chapters required a small more or a small less to them. In some areas, I was displeased with how things played out and in some areas, I desired more. I felt there were a few unrealistic scenarios in Barclay and Tessa’s love story. There were a few clipped conversations and scenes that need more of an explanation to them. I was wondering a few things that were left out of the stories conclusionI’m curious to search out if Miss Morris has plans to continue the story through Maggie and Lucas’s lives ( two mates of the main couple in Bossy Nights)
I LOVED this book. I read my very first Liv Morris a couple months ago and found it to be a amazing read. Then I discovered this book was it's companion and I was one satisfied woman. If I could have my dream come real I would wish more in this series. Can't more young ladies, who are mates of Tessa, move to Fresh York and have a wild ride? Seriously. That would create my day. Perhaps Ms. Morris will take pity on her fans and take this up in that creative is story was new and wonderful. I loved our gal and oh my goodness don't we all wish someone just like Barclay? I wish to be first in line for that guy e story was well written and each of the characters relevant. I love how Ms. Morris gives us just enough drama to hold it true and a whole lot of unbelievable fun between the is was a huge hit for me and I really hope Ms. Morris is busy working on more magic! Amazing job! denise bailey
Liv Morris this is 5 stars of provocative perfection that I devoured in one sitting! This story is y and intense but also captivating and sweet.I wish Barclay to call me “sweet girl” and treat me like I’m his everything! I thought my kindle was going to combust during those hot moments of absolute desire and intrigue or maybe that was just my panties. Either method Tessa and Bar have consumed me like they have each other as I turned every page and hoped this story would never end!Ms. Morris, this has now become one of my all time favorite books by you and one of the best of 2018. Liv, Bossy Nights is absolutely flawless and full of passion and smoldering, enchanting love that flows through the pages and makes me which I could read it for the first time again!
Who knew moving to the town can change your life. That is what happens to Tessa Holly. The attraction is instant, the feelings are true but the consequences can be what gets in their clay & Tessa’s story is a whirlwind but it’s also a story you wish to live right alongside them hoping that they can search HEA.
Well Barclay Hammond is one Bossy McBossterson...Tessa doesn't know what she is about to obtain once she steps into Braclay's e is the excellent sweet and innocent girl from the South. He is not so sweet and innocent and definitely not from the clay play's by his own rules. He is a take charge kind of guy who doesn't take no for an answer. Tessa has caught his eye...so it's basically android game over for her. She finds herself smitten with him and can't support but fall for his bossy ways. Ohhh and the method he adores her makes me wish to die. He takes care of her with the prefect amount care but he also gives her body such pleasure, that she screams his name.I will tell you I would not mind if Barclay bossed his P into my V!#FoilPackets #PeskyHymens #DrinkDate #Magical #SweetGirl #Hammaconda #Bossy
Bossy Nights by Liv Morris is a quirky, steamy standalone contemporary romance told in dual POV between the virginal Tessa and the jaded Barclay. Well-Written and well-paced, the whole entire reading journey on this one was a unbelievable ride. From meet-cute disaster to their second meeting and so on.Tessa is in Fresh York for a visit. She needs to search a job ASAP and a put to live or she has to hightail it back to Alabama. On ehr first night in city she meets a man in the hotels restaurant/bar and is immediately dazzled, until he leaves with what looks like his date. That would be all amazing and fine except for the extreme flirting they both were doing with their eyes...Barclay is over the dating scene. His latest relationship ended two months ago and he really doesn't feel the loss of it. When a attractive woman in pink catches his eye at his hotels restaurant/bar he is blown away by the attraction that immediately sizzles between the two of them. He is so distracted by the chemistry that he practically ignores his dinner date, also known as his sister, and can think of nothing but the blonde beauty in pink. When he finds her in his office the next day in nothing but a trench coat things obtain really weird.Hilarious AND emotional - these two characters, their family members and mates all create up an perfect community within these fictional pages. y, anticipatory, and wonderfully plotted - this was a joy to read. Enjoy!
I got a lot of feels from this story. Going in I was itchy because taboo isn't my thing, but Barclay while more mature feels like a very successful everyman and Tessa while younger feels more book globe savvy than her age. The story revolving around publishing was excellent with the current flux and flow of the industry being newly shaped and influenced by blogs and new eyes from anywhere in the world. The establishment seeking the innovative fresh idea really worked on so a lot of levels. Little city meets Huge Town and sparks fly, it's the excellent opposites attract story!Barclay and Tessa give each other what they are missing. He needs new honest wholesome love and she needs a more true life experience wrapped up in unerring devotion. They haven't found what they are looking for until seeing each other. She's waited for the excellent man and he's ready for his excellent lady. I was thrilled when I realized this was a slow burn, this ember blazed to life when the time was right! The secondary characters bring so much depth to the story by interfering and creating drama! I loved Tessa's best mate Maggie and her wild ideas about how Tessa should spend her first visit to NYC. She was a excellent comic relief! I hope to see much more of her. Their meddling families are both entertaining and troublesome. Her law enforcement family is just about excellent to hold things slow and thoughtful. I believe at the heart of the story it's about love and family just like every unbelievable romance book. It sometimes takes a while to figure out what we wish from life and sometimes it smiles at you from across the bar. Once the prize is found the work and negotiation on how to obtain to the happily ever after are the best clay and Tessa obtain their happily ever after and I am completely happy with my reading of this book, everybody wins!
No.Just— ere wasn’t one line of realistic dialogue in this book. I kept shouting at my Kindle “NOBODY TALK LIKE THAT!!” The hero POV switches, but you never really know the characters at all. So shallow— and not in the Lady Gaga/ Bradley Cooper way. This was boring!! I know this will sound awfully mean, but REALLY— there was supposed to be some sort of tension built in a “when will they” sort of way, but the main hero Tessa was a weird mix of “completely helpless Southern girl in the huge city” and “take my virginity NOW!” I didn’t buy the story one bit. Sorry— the idea was so intriguing— just didn’t deliver!
AHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!.........SOO AMAZING:))))) WHIRLWIND CRAZINESS ROMANCE INTENSE STUFF HAPPENING IN THERE HOLY FREAKING SMOKES LOVED IT:)))!!!!! ALL OF THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN EVERYONE ESPECIALLY BETWEEN BARCLAY AND TESSA OH MY OFF THE FREAKING CHARTS HOLY FREAKING GOODNESS GRACIOUS!!!!!!! Wow, I was not expecting Alonzo's story to be THAT! I beautiful much expected there to be a lot of secrets and lies between him and Tara, because the blurb tells us that right off the bat and yes, there are lots of those. But then there's SO MUCH MORE! Julie is the queen of the twists and turns and hitting the reader with things out of left field, and yeah, this story has all of that!So Alonzo is quite the dirty talking, hot as sin tatted up fisherman!! And he's been catfishing Tara for the past two years of their relationship, because while he is totally enjoying the y phone sessions, he doesn't really know this girl, and she definitely can't know the true Alonzo, and all the secrets he has.Tara was awesome. I loved the role playing she did with "Lonnie" during their sessions. She presents to Alonzo as this y librarian, but she's hiding beautiful much her whole life from him. So what happens when Tara shows up at Alonzo's house and all the secrets they've both been keeping obtain blown wide open? A wild and crazy story, that's what happens! We obtain to see the whole Dumas guild (minus Emma) and a couple of Boston brothers, and some cameos that created me squeal like a love stick teenager! I've been missing those guys!!This book also opens things up for stories to come, and I can't even include my excitement! I am just so amazed at the turns this story took. I always marvel at how Julie comes up with these complex, intriguing stories that I can't obtain enough of. And how so a lot of of her different series end up converging on each other and obtain intertwined. The next book is going to introduce us to a whole bunch of fresh characters, but take readers back to one of my most favorite "world's" of Julie's. I am so ready!!
Perri is working for her father’s rental property business. She has her first property to manage but when she walks into the yard she finds her father’s business partner. Kent is renting the property. She doesn’t trust him; thinks he is there to spy for her father. I felt this story was more about Perri learning to grow up and take control of her life. Kent is there to support her reach her full potential and learn to live her life, to have fun, to search love, to be confident. Kent has had feelings for Perri for a long time and he is finally ready to act upon it. Perri is unsure of all that is event and is not as confident as Kent. There is conflict with her father that could destroy their relationship. This is a fast small read with interesting characters and passionate love.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A Very Bossy Christmas by Kayley Loring is exactly what I required to read today! Kayley's writing always puts a smile on my face, warms my heart, and makes me chuckle, and this story ABSOLUTELY fit the same bill! And if that in and of itself isn't a amazing enough reason to one-click this delicious read, then please note that the protagonists will not allow you down, and in fact, you'll just desire more of them! Declan and Maddie are AMAZING!They're such a unbelievable dynamic duo, with all of the sass really tickling your funny bone! I adore a boss and assistant trope romance, which meant that this was truly an early Christmas show for me. Add in that it's basically opponents to lovers? guild is such an adorable grump, and I loved seeing how his hero arc developed and grew and changed. And Maddie? The snark is real! She's so feisty and fiery and I loved her from the start, and how she gave just as amazing as she got. Their animosity and chemistry really did it for me, putting the largest grin on my face! And when the tension sizzles too much and the chemistry hits the all time high? It's COMBUSTIBLE.If you're looking for a feel amazing story that'll place a smile on your face, look no further! You'll be wishing you had someone to boss around in the office too!P. S. Piper is ADORABLE.P. P. S. Do we obtain Eddie's story?! (And Birdie's?!) Hooray that it is next!P. P. P. S. Can I come for Christmas Eve Dinner?!
When you are looking for the very best and I mean THE very best in y intrigue, look no further than J.A. Huss! I swear the woman has my heart racing from all things passionate as this story starts and then it just beats faster as our couple is caught up in a puzzle that is all kinds of incredible. Alonzo Dumas and Tara Tanner have this chemistry even from two thousand miles away as they engage in some of the iest phone I've ever read. Even as they continue to lie to one another about who they truly are in 'real life', you can sense the genuine in what they have felt for the other these past two en once they are finally face to face, watch out! The sparks fly right along with mysteries coming to light as the Dumas family's secrets take a turn that I never saw coming. I was convinced right along with Tara just what Alonzo and his family was up to and imagine my surprise as the truth finally is found out and my head continued to spin as it tries to hold up with what Huss has masterfully created. Not to mention the Bossy brothers's involvement, their own secrecy a bit mind-boggling as well.Holy moly, what a ride. A page-turner that is beyond well-written and proves once more just how creative Huss continues to be. The method she weaves in prior books and series in her trademark understated method is brilliant.I had a blast with this book and I can't recommend it highly enough. You'll fall hard for Alonzo, Tara and the rest of this crew, whose stories are just getting ally well done, I happily give Alonzo (Bossy Brothers #5) a large 5 stars!
“Doesn’@#$%!&eem like everyone’s got a secret, but it’s not the same secret?”Holy. Hell. Was this book good?! Opening up to that first page pulled me in straight away and I couldn’t place it down. I was excited to go on Alonzo and Tara’s journey from the beginning with them and see all the naughty and y times they had. It was such a fun book full of laughs and a rollercoaster of emotions.I absolutely love these characters and how each have their own secret to them. They all come alive on the page and it’s hard not to fall right into their story and love onzo and Tara were just excellent for each other. I loved their interactions and the hotness between the two right from the start. Their humour and dirty talk were perfectly written it felt like I was right there with them. I also really enjoyed their soft and sweet sides, especially though I had some ideas about what the Dumas family was up to, I loved finding out what they were actually doing and with the support of the Boston family and others, I loved how it all turned out in the end (though of course I still need more!).Even before this book finished, I knew I required more of these brothers and I can’t wait for Tony’s book next.

***** Possible Spoilers Ahead!! *****I loved this story. There were a couple of times I wanted to smack Perri in the head, but I still found it entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable even though Perri's dad was a class A jerk at first. Perri was an all-around amazing person that seemed to allow her dad Bryce just walk all over her. I loved that she stopped for the kitten! Checking out the fresh tenant gives Perri something else to worry about since she knows her father won't be satisfied with her if she sleeps with him. It's only when he gets up and takes off his glasses that she realizes the fresh tenant is her father's partner Kent and assumes that he's supposed to spy on her for her dad. Kent soon shows Perri that he isn't there to spy for her father, he's there for her. Their attraction is instant and super hot. Several things happen over the next couple of days to bring them closer and then even closer. Kent and Perri obtain their satisfied ever after with Blaze the kitten. I recommend reading this book.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This has got to be the cutest thing Kayley Loring has written so far, and she's written a lot of cute stuff. This one is just pure joy. There's so much packed into it—Christmas Eve, Christmas, Fresh Years and a wedding. There's holiday puns and double entendres. Texting, fan fic and a diary. Family items that we all can relate to. There's at least four various accents including some Irish toasts. And don't forget the music. The drunken Christmas carol stage is one I'll never ese two characters are such a amazing match. They're sparring partners and who is the boss of who is always up for debate. Even though Maddie is Declan's assistant, she is 100% his equal. Their work-a-day globe is an intricate choreography to hold things running smoothly and the boss looking good. But beneath their dance is a simmering attraction between two people who don't quite know how to do relationships. So Declan the lawyer responds in the only method he knows how—with a contract, instead of just asking for a clan's lawyerly mindset colors his thinking and it's sometimes a knee-jerk reaction. But he's a amazing guy who wants to do better and IS TRYING to do better, but Maddie doesn't understand the male method of doing that. She hasn't had the best luck with past boyfriends. Supposedly she doesn't pick 'em very well, but I suspect she's just as poor at reading men as Declan is poor at reading women. This story basically revolves around two people learning to better understand themselves and each other, and having a whole lot of fun while doing it.Ok well, you obtain the gyst—it's a war of the es story done in a festively charming way. It just might temporarily take the edge off the fact that you can't be with your own family this Christmas. So move over ens and O. Henry, I've got a fresh favorite holiday read. Merry Christmas to me, once or several times, come what may.
I read, I laughed – this book is steamy, funny and such a amazing read. I was entertained from begin to finish – Loring is a master at writing rom-coms. Declan and Maddie have amazing chemistry – they are funny, sarcastic, loving, and have chemistry that is off the charts. I loved reading the text messages and banter between the two of them. He is so y, nerdy, and caring and she is sassy, strong, and independent. I also loved the array of supporting characters - Declan’s Irish and Italian family, Maddie’s sister, niece, and Russian landlady – they just added something to the story that only created it better and more engaging. What I didn’t like was that work got in the method of me reading this book - instead of enjoying it in one sitting I was reading it as time allowed. This is a well written, witty book told in dual POV that would be an ideal read on a dreary, rainy day when you need something to brighten your day!
I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher for Stephanie's Book fresh boss is cold, aloof, uncaring. Twice my age and incredibly hot. I know better than to crush over the older, untouchable man. I'm here to do a job and prove I can do it well. What I don't expect is for the bossy Mr. Frosty to thaw in my presence. His chilly demeanor grows hot the moment we're alone and all I can do is melt for him. He's supposed to be straight, yet with me, he bends his own rigid rules. I wish to follow my heart, buy my dreams might be at stake. Do I choose a budding, forbidden romance or go back to my safe, bland reality? One look at his rare, attractive smile, though and I realize I never had a is is a short novella but boy oh boy does it package the heat. I guess you could say it is a prequel to the Briggs Ferry Bay Series that has two books out now. This is a insta-love office romance that I am hoping will be continued at some point. I fell so in love with these characters. This is also a m/m romance too. Here you meet Adrian Frost. He is a forty year old owner of Modern Times Life Magazine. He also has this very serious demeanor and can not for the life of him hold an assistant. He really goes though them. Enter Rylan Moore who is eighteen and was raised running around his parents magazine office. He knows everything there is to know about the business but his parents business is now closed. He needs a job and knows beyond a shadow of a doubt he can do this one if Adrian Frost will give him a chance. That is all I can tell you or I will obtain into things I do not wish to spoil. I really loved this story and if you are looking for a fast read to brighten your day, this is the one you wish to read.
Holy Smokes These Two are Smoking HOT! This is book 5 is the Bossy Brothers. It can be read as a stand alone B U T I would wish it all, but that's just me. This is so far to me the only one that could be read out of order though but makes so much more sense in order and things are becoming clearer and if you haven't read the other books well you might not obtain all that!!Great hero build up from the start, Catfishing huh, well that is only the first small bread crumb the rest well its...told in the best JA Huss way, edge of your seat the entire way!! Jeeze this woman can tell a story full of secrets, lies and hot freaking . Alonzo def has a lot he is hiding as does Tara. They don't even know just how dang close they truly are in likeness other than they both believe the stories that go on for 2 years while they have hot phone ...then BAM!!Yep well in these Bossy Boys method it happens fast and its either gonna sink or create it. its one or the other with all these and truly at the end of each book we obtain a small deeper into it all. We obtain into the Dumas side this time and its does not disappoint one small bit or is it a huge bit? Ha ha well you going have to read this one yourself to obtain any of that amazing stuff, just know if you have lived in #hussjourneyville well this one fits right into that same kind of [email protected]#$%ery town!!Absolutely Loved Alonso and Tara they are both powerful characters that do not disappoint, go ahead and jump on in to the Bossy's, they are all awesome...and Alonzo well he does not disappoint at all, I kind of wondered exactly what kind of hero would follow Johnny's hero and well as I said its most def told in the best of JA Huss style!! Ya gotta obtain into these Bossy Guys and Girls because they are all powerful characters who never disappoint!! Jump on the Bossy Train Today!!!
This book started off hot, hot, hot! A no holds bar type of phone relationship that lasted 2 years between our 2 main characters, Lonnie (aka Alonzo) and Tara. It brought us back to a city that has played a huge part in past JA Huss books that past readers will love. But don't worry. Alonzo is a complete standalone with all fresh characters with a few Bossy brothers making an appearance in this spinoff focused on the Dumas family in the Keys.Tara and Lonnie are fun and y and are a pure joy to read. Their interaction, although 2000 miles apart is full of tangible iness. I couldn't support but be captivated with each conversation they had. It was y, funny and silly all mixed together."This is us. We are playful. We are fun. We are spontaneous, and flirty, and silly, to be quite honest."You can tell that their attraction is so much more than what either of them intended 2 years ago. But they are both keeping secrets from one another. So what happens when danger comes knocking on their door?It wouldn't be a JA Huss book without twists and turns and she delivered. Once we leave Colorado, we obtain to see the Dumas family with some Bossy brothers in action in Key West. These men like to live in the gray area. Things aren't always black and white. What is everyone going to explore and what will this mean for Tara and Alonzo? Will their relationship grow and they become a squad or will their secrets in the end, hold them apart?I enjoyed this book and all the characters we were introduced to. It makes me excited for what's to come in this world. A few phrases were repeated a few too a lot of times for my liking (I obtain that Alonzo is a tatted, yoked out, hot as.....you obtain the idea), but it didn't take away from the story being told. It was y, fun and even a small legend was thrown in to support push the story forward. I think people will have fun the hotness mixed with humor and twists. We, as readers, are in for a ride that will not slow down with these Dumas brothers. Are you ready?? 4+ entertaining stars

I am all SMILES after reading this; just so, so delightfully charmed by this holiday romance. It was everything I was hoping it was going to be and then some – and I always anticipate that I’m going to love this author’s books. It’s the excellent combination of sweet, y, and snort-laugh-inducing, crackling with tension one min and then making you swoon with a tender moment the next. The first half? Sharp, intense, and simmering with heat. And then the back half burrows into your heart a small deeper, leaning into the holiday aspect while showcasing the growth in intimacy. It’s the kind of book that I’d read every Christmas, or Christmas in July, or… anytime. Because this couple is GREAT together, from the first page to the e story follows Declan, a lawyer who is aware that he can give people the impression that he’s a bit of a grouch. He’s got his reasons for being moody, and the only thing that seems to place a smile on his face recently is spending time with his fresh executive assistant, Maddie. As in, driving her crazy with texts and demands to work all hours of the day. With the holidays approaching, Declan hopes to create it another work-filled week, until family commitments require that he come for a visit… with a date who will act as a buffer for all of the drama. Somehow, Maddie finds herself spending even more time with Declan, but in a method that brings all of the tension between them to the surface in an entirely various way.I loved all of the BANTER and the chemistry that just leaps off the page. These two have the kind of connection that sizzles, and the steamy scenes reveal more about their relationship than a hundred conversations. The word “baby” has never been ier than when it’s groaned by this grumpalicious hero, and I loved his vulnerability. Loring executed some holiday magic with this one, because this couple was truly entertaining from begin to finish. I devoured it in one sitting, loving the low angst journey as it progressed from bickering to bantering to blush-inducing and beyond. If you’re looking for a light and steamy romance that will create you smile, fill you with holiday cheer, and create you love it more with every scene, this is the one for you. I was lucky enough to keep an early copy (then purchased it for my collection), and am voluntarily leaving a review of this office romance.
Declan is a lawyer who has focused on his career to the exclusion of everything else. Attending his family’s Christmas gathering is poor enough but when he needs to bring the woman he is supposed to be in a romantic relationship with that doesn’t exist it becomes a lot more complicated. He has the excellent candidate in mind as she handles all his professional crises so she should be up for the job of handling his private crises as ddie plans of spending Christmas with those she loves has been place on keep due to her boss who is a better negotiator than she expected. All she has to do is obtain through the season without giving into her attraction for him and then they can return to the status quo. What could possibly go wrong? The characters are so appealing, the banter between them is fun and flirty and this story will both place you in the holiday spirt and have you laughing out loud.
This was such a great, quick, y read. Adrian is your typical focused CEO. Rylan is the new minded, young guy who wants to live out his dream. When they come together they each obtain more than they bargained for. I loved this novella to supplement Sheriff’s Secret.
Bossy Mr. Frosty is a short prequel by K. Webster to the series Brigs Ferry Bay. This was first released as part of the Winter Wonderland giveaway. This is my very first K. Webster book! It’s a M/M, age gap, awakening, office romance and I loved it!Adrian Frost is nearly forty years old and is the owner of Modern Times Life magazine. He’s known for his surly demeanor and goes through assistants regularly. No one wants to work for him.Rylan Moore is eighteen years old and grew up running around his parents’ magazine offices. He knows the business top to bottom. But his parents’ magazine is now closed down. He needs a job and he knows he can easily do this one, if Adrian Frost will give him a chance. What he hadn’t counted on is the instant attraction he feels when they meet.“I need to hold my eyes on the street ahead of me. I just [email protected]#$%! wasn’t so hard now that Adrian Frost has stepped directly in my path.”Adrian is straight, or thought he was. He just can’t understand his reaction to his fresh assistant. All he does know is that he needs to obtain to know him better, preferably in his home, in his bed. He’s never had these thoughts about a man before but he’s not afraid to see where this is is a very short, satisfied for now, introduction to this series. The first full length book in the series is Adrian’s closest mate Dante’s story in Sheriff’s Secret. What I love is that we are promised more of Adrian and Rylan’s future as well. I can’t wait to read it!
Gosh, I can't even with this guy. Is Alonzo a super y guy? Oh heck yes he is. He'll be the first one to tell you that he is a hot mofo and that he could beautiful much have any woman he wants. However, there is a depth to him that I found absolutely surprising and wonderfully endearing. Tara is probably every guys dream. She is confident, y, intelligent and not afraid of grabbing what she wants. But I suppose sometimes that's simple when you aren't face to face. Who is catfishing who? What is each hiding from the other? Every paragraph JA Huss wrote leads us to another mystery revolving the Dumas family, the Boston family AND the Company (or the Way) as we know them. Some mysteries are solved, others are brought to the forefront. The method JA Huss writes these stories weaving past stories and characters so seamlessly is an absolutely awesome feat indeed and I look forward to so much more.
Well we finally obtain to meet Alonzo. He sure knows how to heat up the pages and create a gal gush. Alonzo seeks out a long distance ‘relationship’ with figure hugging, pencil skirt wearing Tara Tanner. The tapades that they converse with are combustibly hot and Alonzo has meet his match in the dirty es and secrets are in abundance but the chemistry between Alonzo and Tara sizzle. Belinda and Vann bring another element into the story and I’m hoping that we obtain to see more of them. So a lot of tidbits adds to this story that I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them men of the Dumas family.
Perri’s dad can’t seem to handle the idea that she is a competent young woman and able to handle responsibility. He has to micromanage her every step of the way. It’s all about him and maintaining his reputation, even if it means he needs to restrict her attempts to reach her own potential. When she finally convinces him to give her a possibility at managing a rental property by herself, she is ready to prove that she can handle the job beyond his expectations. But immediately he phones her to remind her yet again that the client would be arriving at 11:00 and she was not to be late. He never trusts her ability and hovers over her as if she is totally incompetent. If his interference causes a problem, he blames it solely on her mistakes. But she will present him this time that she is ready for this ever, a small lump on the street causes her to brake hard. A kitten seems to be injured and she drives to a local vet to have it checked. The paperwork drags on and she is now an hour late for her appointment with the renter! When she drives up and hears melody out back, she walks around and sees a well-built man face-down on the lounge chair, while her mind plays out a lengthy fantasy of what could happen between them. She snaps back to reality and says hello, holding out her hand as he stands and removes his sunglasses. “Kent?”Kent Hayes is the business associate and best mate of her father. To Perri’s surprise, he is her first renter and will be staying for a month! That puts the pressure on her, since she is sure he will report everything back to her father. And she’s already an hour late in getting here! She is mad that her father did this, but Kent assures her that he is not a spy. He is recently single and required a put to stay. She reluctantly agrees to allow it go for now. They step inside and she immediately sees that whoever her father brought in to decorate did a not good job. The method the furniture is placed breaks up the flow of the house, making it sort of an obstacle course. As she rearranges it, he will have a view of the ocean no matter where he sits now. While Perri's dad discourages her constantly, Kent builds her up and wants her to be a strong, confident woman. He told her how impressed he was that she saw the problem with the furniture positioning in the 10 mins he was getting his things from the car. She already is attracted to him and the feelings grow as he treats her as the adult she is.With this all-important attempt to present her father what she can do, she really needs to stay professional, but it almost felt like he was flirting with her! She could barely look at him without her body responding. He is so attractive! And she will soon search that Kent knows what he wants, maybe what both of them need. Will he present her how he feels about her? Is he willing to do whatever it takes to hold her in his life?
I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this fast story about Kent and Perri. She's trying to impress her father, she wants to work on his rental properties, but he's reluctant to give her any power. So when he gives in and sends her to his fresh beach property to allow in a fresh tenant, she's thrilled. But when she gets there and finds her dad's partner, she thinks he is there as a spy. When she slips and falls into the pool, Kent saves her life, and the mouth to mouth turns into more. The two share a passion that is currently burning hot, but she's afraid he only is trying to report to her dad. When a tropical storm takes land by force, their tempers flare just as bad. Amazing HEA in the end.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is about Perri and Kent. Perri is trying to convince her father that she can do the job, but he has small faith in her, so this fresh job is to meet the tenant and allow him in, so she need to create a amazing first impression. Well what happens, she finds this not good small defenseless kitten in the street trying to cross it but his back legs don’t work, so she stops and then takes him to the vet and now she is LATE…..Kent is the fresh tenant and her father’s business partner and friend. He is actually there to obtain away from it all as he is newly single again….well his torch has always been with Perri, but he kept his distance until now. I loved the outcome, her father realizing that is an adult and can create her choices but also she needs to stop trying to obtain his approval.
If there is only one Holiday romance you read this year, it should be A Very Bossy Christmas. This book has the humor, the heat, two crazy families and Declan guild is a lawyer for a true estate firm, he comes from an [email protected]#$%!alian family (you can only start to guess what family obtain togethers are like) and he works hard. He may have gotten himself in problem the moment he mentioned to his mother that he was dating someone. Maddie is an executive assistant to Declan and beautiful much keeps his life on track. She just wants to spend the holidays with her family, but getting her workaholic boss to give her the time off is going to be tricky. When Declan offer’s her what she wants how can she refuse? It’s all just guild and Maddie had chemistry from the beginning. There was an attraction between them from the start. I loved the banter between them, the fact that Maddie gives back as amazing as she gets. The woman is full of sass and I LOVED it. There is also plenty of playful flirting and several super sweet moments. Though, at times Declan was frustrating and I just kind of wanted to knock some sense into him.I loved Maddie’s niece Piper, plus the couple chapters from her POV were HILARIOUS. Declan’s family was absolutely hilarious and crazy. Maddie’s family was just as fun. If I could be adopted by both of their families I would in a heartbeat.A Very Bossy Christmas is the excellent Holiday romcom that will have you laughing and swoony from the very first page. A MUST READ!
There’s plenty of banter (especially in text), the extended families bring so much fun and craziness, and at the heart of the story, two unbelievable guild is a classic workaholic who loves to push his executive assistant’s buttons. Partially because Maddie gives it right back and it’s entertaining. And partially because that’s just who he is. Declan is in a bit of a family jam and convinces Maddie to pretend to be his girlfriend for a few family happenings in exchange for a day off work so she can spend time with her own ddie agrees to spend some time with him in Cleveland but she doesn’t create it simple for him. And once they confront their real feelings for each other? It’s a beautiful, steamy journey that started method before Declan asked her to be his fake girlfriend. Declan is so lovable and Maddie is feisty—I absolutely loved the witty, banter-y story from begin to finish.
Bossy Mr. Frosty is the delightful novella that is a prequel of sorts to the current Brigs Ferry Bay series by Webster and M Walker. We obtain the aloof and very bossy Adrian Frost, suddenly taken aback by the brash and outspoken Rylan Moore. Boss and fresh assistant search themselves attracted to one another despite a large age gap and the fact that their styles of life couldn't be more t I enjoyed this sweet story with the requisite hot encounters immensely. Webster has the knack for giving us what we wish in the bedroom paired with a tenderness that often takes her characters and me by surprise. And both Adrian and Rylan were more than shocked that they felt more for the other than could ever seem h change the other for the better and it's a amazing method to obtain a glimpse into what follows with Adrian's amazing mate Dante in book 1 of the Brigs Ferry Bay series, Sheriff's Secret. This was a nice intro and I need to go back and find out again the wedding that was included in Sheriff's Secret to have fun a bit more of Rylan and his Mr. Frosty.4 solid stars!
I loved Alonzo and Tara’s story. Actually, I’ve loved each of the standalone novels in author J.A. Huss’ Bossy Brothers series, but I definitely love Alonzo’s story om the first page to the last, this book is serious fun. y banter, lovable characters, secrets, lies and a lot of twists and reveals created Alonzo a page-turner. The story starts as a y, electronic ver of pen pals looking for more and turns into a bit of an adventure/thriller. I just couldn’t place it down!Alonzo might look like a brawler covered in ink, but his tats have meaning. I adored his story of his family legend. Tara, Belinda and Vann Vaughn are fun additions to the mix, and they make an opportunity to bring a lot of characters together in this recent Bossy Brothers novel. Each hero has their baggage or flaws, but that doesn't mean the are less worthy of love. I could go on and on about the info I enjoyed in this book, but that would spoil the fun of reading the book. Go read it and then tell me how much you enjoyed Alonzo and Tara.
JA HUSS HAS DONE IT AGAIN.Another 5 Star read that will have you glued too your kindle and loving Lonnie & Tara. I absolutely love Lonnie and Tara’s story and their secrets WOW. Lonnie and Tara had me hooked from page one and I absolutely love seeing Vann Vaughn and of course the Bossy Brothers. It’s no surprise that I’m a HUGE FAN of all JA’s work and of course I knew I would absolutely FLOVE this book. JA is an author that you are guaranteed an phenomenal story with awesome characters and a story you will never forget. Truly an awesome read that everyone must truly one click.
Bossy Brothers 5 - Alonzo. What a amazing book this is. In this book we begin learning more about the Dumas brothers since one of the bossy brothers, Jesse, is married to Emma Dumas that’s how they are connected. Although in this book we search out that some of the Dumas family have another connection to the Bossy brothers that none of them knew about. Alonzo and Tara at first only have a phone relationship in which they like to talk dirty to each other and oh boy, they do a lot of that. After two years of doing this, cirtances finally bring them together and they meet. These two have off the chart chemistry. The thing is both of them have been lying to each other about who they are with amazing reason but still can they obtain past it?I got such a warm feeling when part of the story was in Fort Collins. Some of my favorites of Julie’s books have been set there. If you’ve read some of her series books you will have a ton of blasts from the past in this story but don’t worry if you’re fresh to her, you won’t be lost.I would recommend this book highly if you like dirty talk, mystery, fun and being on a roller coaster with all the twists and turns, this is definitely the book for you.
Perri wants to prove that she’s grown up and has responsibilities that she can do. She wants to be in charge of his rental property on the beach. She asks and he finally agrees but is cons asking if things are done. She has an appointment at 11:00 but on the method see a injured kitten and takes it to the vet. She finally arrives and sees a man on tanning and sees that it’s her fathers best mate and business partner. He said that he was renting it fir a month as his relationship had ended. She asks if he was a spy but said he wasn’t, She goes in the house and sees that who ever her father had hired to decorate did a horrible job with the arrangement of the furniture. She changes it and he says she did a amazing job. As they are together he keeps flirting and she realizes that she is attracts him also. Will they act on their feelings and what will her father say?I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I simply loved this feel-good, Christmas-themed story! A Very Bossy Christmas is chock full of humor and charm- just the right balance of heart and heat that left a goofy smile on my face for hours after. I gobbled this up in one sitting- and my romance-loving and holiday-loving heart is full and ddie’s generally moody boss Declan is being a total Scrooge. This former big-firm lawyer, now corporate general counsel, is a bit of a workaholic. So much so that he’s refusing to even allow her take off Christmas to be with her family. Despite his general high maintenance, she loves to playfully ruffle his feathers, and she can’t deny her intense attraction. The attraction goes both ways- Declan has long since been fantasizing about his fresh assistant, and the fact that she’s really amazing at her job, too, has him beautiful much hogging up as much of her time as he can, unreasonably so. Declan is planning on spending the holidays avoiding his family with work- the holidays are a mine field given some very intense family drama. His sister and mother, however, aren’t having it- and soon Declan findings himself fabricating a girlfriend as an excuse to miss out on some of the fun. Which means Declan needs to search a fake girlfriend and fast- and who better than the y small assistant he can’t stop thinking up. So he offers her a very lawyerly deal. Which Maddie isn’t sure she’s going to take- but thanks to a meddling niece and some nasty eggnog- she ends up agreeing to play along. And soon, a fake relationship starts to feel very real. Maddie finds a side to Declan that she could actually love, and Declan remembers how awesome it is to connect with someone. But can they work AND play together, too? While Declan is ly, he’s actually just a sweet and somewhat wounded guy coping with his work addiction. I loved how Kaley lets us into his heart, it gives him such hero depth. Not to mention, he’s y in the bedroom! And Maddie is just a riot- she’s caring and kind, but also self-assured and sassy. The method she handles Declan and the method she supports and challenges him just created their dynamic so is story is just so funny. I found myself snorting with laughter over and over again at the sharp and witty humor of Kayley Loring. With lines like, “Her brown hair is so shiny; I believe her shampoo is created from the semen of demonic stallion," how could I not!?! The humor is so clever, slightly irreverent, often Christmas-tinged, and really well done. I also love how cleverly Kaley wields the humorous vibe- first to hook us into the story, next to catalyze the plot, and then it really helps our characters connect. It opens up the door for a more emotional, sweet and tender latest leg of this book- the humor grabs, and then the sweetness holds us h of the characters have such distinctive but humorous voices. And their chemistry is just magnetic- you feel all the heat, but you also feel the emotional tug between them too. Kaley builds their connection so strategically- we obtain all the sassy banter, but we also have true tender moments of intimacy and vulnerability. I loved how she pairs the “louder” more catalytic moments, like the eggnog scene, with quieter moments that subtly cement their hearts- like Declan watching TV with Maddie’s dad. It infuses such richness to how their relationship unfolds, and gives you all those feel good, sweet romance tingles. Rounded out by some seriously scorching scenes, a lower angst plot, and some incredibly memorable and endearing side characters, this book was just a delight. The icing on the cake? It’s full of festive vibes and all that crazy family holiday fun.But humor and holiday spirit aside, this book has a sincere heart to it. This is a story about family and love. Maddie and Declan learn the simplest and most universal lesson of all- love is precious, so go after it. Just so charming! And jammed packed with Christmas cheer- what more could you ask for? Such a delightful treat- and definitely has me thirsty to grab more Kaley stories.
I am a huge, large Kayley Loring fan, and this book is one of the reasons why. If you haven’t read a Kayley Loring book...then you seriously need to. You can expect to laugh so hard you may or may not pee your pants...but seriously though, you’ve been warned. This whole book is highlighted...like the whole thing is a funny teaser. Just that funny, laugh out loud ddie is Declan’s assistant, their sarcastic witty banter is everything, and definitely some y foreplay. I couldn’t obtain enough of them, they just place me in my satisfied fun place. And their text...even funnier, I can’t even with their hilarious over-the-top. Beautiful sure that Declan gives my Keaton Bridges a run for my favorite Kayley Loring guy, and he may have passed him up, because I floved Declan so much. Pfft...I guess I don’t really have to decide, just dibs on them is was a safe read, with one of my favorite couples and definitely one of my favorite dirty talking guys. The heat and chemistry between these two is just...whew, all that witty foreplay, really, really paid off....so hot. Loved, loved her niece, Piper, and her family. Not gonna lie, wasn’t really a fan of his family....ok, I did adore his small brother, Eddie. Two epilogues and a re please, always wish more Kayley Loring books.
This is my fourth Kayley Loring books That I've read, I just love her writing. She did it again with this clan, a lawyer, Maddie, is his executive assistant. Declan is a y, Workaholic, grumpy boss. Maddie is a feisty, take no crap kind of girl. She doesn't place up with Declan’s crap. But, I loved their relationship. Even though Declan was the method he was you could tell they still cared for one another. One of my favorite parts of the book was the text messages that they exchanged between one another or with their family. I just couldn’t obtain enough of them.“Maddie Cooper…I wish to live with you. I wish to marry you. I wish to create babies with you. I wish to grow old with you. I wish you to bury me and cry over my grave, and then I wish to fall in love with you all over again in heaven. Or hell. We’ll see how amazing I am at atoning for my sins.” ♥️Declan’s family my goodness, from his brothers to his cousins, they have me laughing out loud.I loved how the story unfolded from beginning to end. I was smiling, laughing and swooning throughout the whole book. “I walk over to her, tilt her chin up, and kiss her, just once, lightly on the mouth. As soon as I do, her hands go to my waist and she rests her forehead versus my chest.”That was probably one of my favorite parts in the book. A easy gesture, but it was saying so much. ♥️If you love grumpy bosses who are secretly loving, caring and can be grumpy and the women who don’t place up with their crap this story is for you. This story is for you. You will not be disappointed. Next up, Eddie’s story and I can’t wait!
Adrian has problem keeping assistants but then he employs Rylan and he sticks. Rylan is sweet, adorable, pushy and oh so y and it makes Adrian take notice. The chemistry between the two takes Adrian by surprise because he’s never been with a man. Will he give into temptation? I can’t wait for more by this author!!
An explosion of mind muckery! That is Johnny and Megan's twisted put in the globe of the "Way" and their humorous, magnetic, interlocking web of darkness connection. Oh yes- it is an unputdownable force of nature this one. I wish to say I saw parts of the storyline coming, but that is too far fetched even for ions answered, just to have more replace H- d every book so far in the Bossy series, Johnny's tho- took me out to the Bermuda Triangle left me there, I enjoyed every philosophical moment of it!Stellar characters, with visitors from the past, the intricate story JA Huss has laid out for her readers is not one you should pass up!
Oh my lawd Julie is a freaking Queen!!! She writes awesome thought-provoking, intense and suspenseful stories that pull you in from the very first page until the EOBS. The Bossy Brothers books are a series that definitely need to be read! Johnny's story finally, finally uncovered some questions we've all been wanting and needing from the very first book and to place it bluntly..... FREAKING MIND-BLOWN is what you'll be by the end!!! The twists and turns that came were freaking gripping, intriguing, edge-of-your-seat EPIC! This is one series you MUST READ and one that will have you begging for MORE!
The third book in J.A. Huss’ Bossy Brothers series is all about Johnny, the oldest of the three Boston brothers. His story is just as wild and as twisted as I expected!Previously, we’ve met Johnny through the eyes of his brothers Jesse and Joey. He came off as slightly unhinged and very scary. However, Johnny’s public persona is just a little part of him. In addition to being a [email protected]#$% enforcer/banker for the crazy organization his family is wrapped up in, he is also an expert on conspiracy theory. His stint in the chess club has created him a master planner; there's nothing like anticipating your enemies moves when planning to take down a crazy world-domination organization. Oh, and he is quite the dreamer and romantic. In some ways, he reminds me of one of the author’s beloved characters, Spencer gan Machette becomes Johnny’s issue when he finds her imprisoned on a Caribbean island. She seems like a damsel in distress, but from the start, Johnny is onto her. He knows she is lying and keeping secrets. While the story is told from their dual points of view, Megan remains enigmatic. Their cat and mouse android game creates much speculation and tension throughout the book. Megan’s secrets aren’t shared with the reader until the story reaches its climax. Allow me just say that as the plot reaches its culmination, the action gets intense, Johnny’s strategies obtain stronger, and the plot gets super twisty. I had an inkling about one of the reveals, but everything else that author J.A. Huss incorporated was wildly surprising! I cannot wait to see how the rest of the story plays out. Characters and affiliations pulled in from her prior series create this book, and the upcoming books in the series, a hyperbolical conspiracy thriller that only J.A. Huss could write. It is almost as wickedly delicious as her book, The nce there are references to key info from the prior Bossy Brothers books, I wouldn’t recommend trying to read this book as a standalone story.4.5 stars
Johnny is the third book in the Bossy Brothers series. Up until now I think you could read both previous books as standalones. But this book has too much of the past and trying to wrap up a small of the Method too much to go in without any information. SO, if you haven't read Joey or Jesse, stop what you are doing and check those out and return here. There are too a lot of answers to questions that were left in those books and I wouldn't wish you to be hnny has been a huge question tag so far in the books. I've been watching him and I hoped his book was going to blow my mind. He was too much of a wild card and honestly, I really didn't know if I liked him or not. He seemed like the brother you never wanted but ended up having anyway. But I knew there had to be more to him. And sure enough, this overprotective huge brother that likes to file a lot of things away in all the folders in his head is various than I anticipated. His story didn't blow me away, but it gave a lot more answers and created me kind of like him more than I had in the past books.Enter Megan Machette. Can I say what a cool latest name she has? I already liked her based on that alone. lol. We think she may be a hindrance to whatever Johnny has going by the first scene, but these two are built into the frame of the Method too strongly. So I knew whatever went down was going to all be connected and more outrageous than even I could imagine. I mean, it's JA Huss, after all. She likes to confuse us and build a lot into her , we have a "banker" (Johnny) and a "scientist" (Megan) that have been a part of the Method since basically birth. They are putting together answers out in the Bahamas on the islands. But they are both working towards something. Can they work and come together to achieve related endings, or will their pasts and families pull them away from it all??This book was various than I anticipated, but the answers I got were satisfying. I liked that a lot of questions we'd had in the past books were coming together. The twists were there, but not too crazy. Johnny seemed a small various than he had in past books. But that was a front for the Way, I'm assuming. This series is obviously hero driven as I didn't feel the setting was too important. It's all about the characters and where they are going mentally and emotionally. It's meant to create you question what they are doing and I think Ms Huss achieved that. I just wished her 'voice' for her characters would change up a small bit. It's becoming a wee bit repetitive. But Johnny isn't all about the Way. JA Huss has given us more Easter eggs than you can even imagine. If you've been reading her for awhile like I have, you're going to have so a lot of fun things to pick up on, especially toward the end. And those eggs are definitely going to crack begin and become something that we didn't even know was developing. I'm super excited for those! This may be the 'final' Boston brother, but Bossy Brothers is continuing with some other crazy brothers. And we may even have a crossover from the past. This is going to be fun and full of twists and turns for us fans. Read that EOBS and obtain excited with me!! It's like we are only beginning.
This is another romp with one of the Bossy bros in real JAH style. We obtain all the whodunnits and wtf’s that I’ve come to expect and love from one of my fave authors. The two MCs, Johnny and Megan, have a lot of secrets and plenty of mistrust between them from the beginning and throughout most of the book which created for a lot of thrills. And at the end we have the amazing reveal that really brought a lump to my throat. The ending is really the beginning of something huge to come. Really big. I just wonder how it’s all gonna play out, hmmmmm....The EOBS has lots of goodies in shop for those of us who wait on pins and needles for the everything this author has in shop for us. Thx JAH!
Johnny Boston, the oldest of the three Boston brothers and the one I have been the most intrigued by in this series. We didn't obtain a whole lot of him in book 1, besides Jesse telling us that Johnny is the oldest, he's kind of "out there" and he doesn't really have any type of relationship with him. Then in book 2, Joey told us that he used to be really close to Johnny, but that all changed one day, and after their father died he became beautiful reclusive and pushed both brothers away. But we did obtain a beautiful amazing glimpse into Johnny's life towards the end of that book, enough to create my head begin going crazy with ideas on what exactly was going on in "the Way" and what Johnny was going to do to hold his brothers out of their in typical Julie fashion, she totally blew me away with Johnny and Megan's story. I thought there were a whole bunch of secrets that I required answers to before I started reading, but then as those secrets were slowly unveiled, a whole slew of fresh ones I didn't even think of come popping up!! Johnny's got secrets, Megan's got secrets! Hell, there's secrets on top of secrets! And even though these two don't trust each other at all because they both know the other isn't telling them the whole truth, they can't support the draw there is between of my favorite things about Johnny's book is the cameos and the crossover to previous beloved Huss storylines. People I never thought I'd obtain the possibility to see again popped up and my heart did a whole bunch of pitter pattering!! And some fresh characters are introduced that are going to also intricately tie in with these past characters in a method I would have never imagined. It's awesome the complex method Julie's mind works and her ability to string all these characters and worlds together to bring readers one hell of an epic journey! So back to Johnny and Megan. Two characters who both keep alot of secrets and whose appearances are deceiving. Megan, the innocent looking lab tech who holds a very critical key to the future of the Way. And Johnny, whose reputation precedes him but who has a whole other side to him that no one's ever seen before, Megan being the first. Can these two forge a future together when nothing is ever certain in the globe they live in?Julie throws every kind of twist and turn into this story. I held my breath for half this book, and the revelations and secrets revealed blew my mind a time or two. I know that for the most part, the Boston brothers stories are settled, but there is still so much to come in this globe that I'm dying to see what happens next!! And like I said, there is some fresh crossover items event that created me squeal with delight and ramp up my excitement about the upcoming books!Once again, Julie proves that she is a master storyteller, and I want I could bonus everyone a copy of at least one of her books so people could see for themselves why I love her writing so much.
Omg I couldn’t wait for Johnny’s story and JA has completely knocked it out of the park. Johnny and Megan both have secrets and it’s only inevitable until their secrets are revealed. It never a real JA book unless their is a crazy twist and what a crazy twist it was. This book was everything I wanted and more. I absolutely love the back and forth between Johnny and Megan and together they are a couple you won’t forget. Another truly an awesome read that if you haven’t read the Bossy Brothers you are definitely missing out.
"Secrets are seductive. Learning them, knowing them, keeping them. Every bit of it is about seduction."When I say that JA Huss weaves a story like no other...I mean she REALLY WEAVES that story. She takes you to locations you never really expected. She brings other stories into it so masterfully that you sit and wonder...was this her plan all along? When she wrote that one story that one time? Did she really know that THIS is what would become of it? I'm not going to say which story...all I know is that although I haven't even read the former story yet, I knew exactly where it was coming from. Did you wish to know what was up with The Way? Did you think Johnny would finally obtain his happily ever after? Did you think JA was done with us? Well surprise!!! I'm not telling but all I know is that I was completely sucked into this story and all of the detail and intrigue and yes...so a lot of secrets. And knowing JA...we are not done yet....she will hold weaving her stories like only she can do...and I'm ready...bring it on

And that is exactly how it starts but I didn't expect him to drive up to an island with a guess of finding Maisy's mom Joeys small girls baby momma because Charlotte tried to obtain some promises out of Johnny at age like 10 or 11, yeah she was setting him up for marriage so why does he go looking for her, well because he thinks she has huge secrets but if course the first put is burnt to the ground when he arrives, he now knows they knew he was coming and he must move quickly before he must stay here. He goes through the bldg. and in the basement, tide to a wall, well not tied anchored is a better word, a woman dirty and left to die, at first she has the resemblance of Charlette but once he see's her he knows it is not, she begs for him to support her and he says I cant you know they created a mistake leaving you and they will come back and he leaves and this girl is gonna die, no water in days at the very least maybe none for couple of weeks, time for her is unknown, she is giving up home but knowing she would obtain to that sink and obtain a drink...well to ALL of our surprise Johnny does come back and he shoots off the shackles and carries her out and she awakes disoriented, she knows he allow her drink a but she is still so thirsty but not as much and then she realizes she is clean he stripped her clothes she had used the bathroom on and was in an empty burned out bldg. stinking and soiled lucky to be alive and he washed her. she begs to go back to her bldg. in the Bahamas a put her and her dad have worked on science projects, its the only put she has ever lived she knows no other life. But Johnny has much more plans for her, he is on calculating poor boy as are most of Huss Alpha Males BUT MY GOSH!!!! I didn't expect this story in no method shape of form. I was a bit late getting it read and reviewed as promised but OMG, once I dove in I couldn't stop, I had to know what was going on, heck I could have done with zero romance and just obtain me to people from the other locations and things and I am in like Sin lol But I am joking Johnny and Megan well have zero reason to squad up they have their own agendas and at first are not telling all the truths, well believe it or not Johnny is but Megan is holding WAY back and when you figure out what its LIKE OMG....This is THEM, This is IT!!!Thank you Julie for always giving us the small breadcrumbs if you didn't know Logan your missing a amazing book and if you don't know the other referenced well you better obtain to catching up...Nick, tatted up poor boy "Nick Tate", who is Indie and the ole guy??? Give me More!!!
Talk about being on the edge of my seat! Johnny (Bossy Brothers, #3) did not disappoint! I've been waiting for his story since the eldest Boston brother has only been on the periphery of this series as Jesse and Joey's tales were told. The air of mystery to his business dealings and the whys of his seemingly solo existence kept his brothers in the dark and as they started to unfold the meaning of their heritage, I just knew Johnny's book would be explosive. And as the secrets began to come to light, my jaw dropped over and over again with each turn of the The imagination of JA Huss continues to impress me as she masterfully weaves a tale that is both complicated and almost too unbelievable to even comprehend. But her bonus of storytelling, once again unmatched, guided me through all the twists and turns as Johnny wants to finally end his dealings with the strong organization known as The Method and free himself and his brothers from their parents's deeds. What Johnny finds on his mission to rid himself of his burdens is the very feisty Megan and together they embark on an adventure that could rival any action film out there. With support from the mysterious Logan, fast decisions seem to be the key to survival and the possibility to live free for once in Johnny's e unexpected pleasure he enjoys with Megan both physically and emotionally showed the eldest Boston in a surprising light and I loved that he was able to stop being the one in charge for a while and just have fun life for once. Their wicked banter and midnight confessions were unbelievable to witness and added the right touch when things could go awry at a moment's notice. And they did. ss is wildly unappreciated in her bonus to tell a story that is both rich with excitement and intrigue and at the same time, full of a deep emotion and feeling. This series has kept my mind reeling while my heart continues to be full as love continues to 'save' these Boston brothers from an otherwise stagnant ch a amazing premise. A amazing book. A amazing series. I am thrilled we will be getting more from secondary characters and the mayhem that is undoubtedly going to hnny was everything and more and shows that love can certainly create life that much better when you least expect it and I happily give this book a solid 5 stars!
This book was everything I hoped for Max and Hayley's story! Hayley truly is a bossy baby and it is exactly what sweet, first time Daddy, Mac needs. I am looking forward to Lance and Jayme's book, especially if he goes pup route! As has been consistent with some of her past work there are some primary editing problems that I am surprised to search in a finished and published book. With that being said the mistakes are so easy (which baffles me that the mistakes are there even more!) that the brain easily corrects them or it doesn't take much to figure out what it should be. I should knock it down to 4 stars for the editing problems but Mac and Hayley were SO worth it and SO freaking adorable that they deserve the 5 stars!
Scarlett goes for an interview with an ulterior motive of looking fo her father. Silas had a feeling come over him when he first laid eyes on Scarlett and he knew he had to have her but not only have her, he had to be her Daddy. The fun and exciting romance of Scarlett and Silas was filled with adventure, beginnings, findings and a Daddy/Little relationship that explodes into true love. Fun readI received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Nicole Snow does it again. This book was just fandamntastic!!"Can we feed our hearts the largest lie ever without inflicting permanent damage? What a amazing quote and beautiful much the theme of this ige Holly gets the job of her dreams, well, beautiful close to it, with a company whose owner is her hero. Beatrice Nightingale Brandt was an architect with a vision ahead of her time and Paige was in awe of her work since she was little. So when she finds out that the White Knight in a expensive suit who saves her from a disastrous date is the grandson of the owner and her fresh boss, oh holy hello, what can go wrong? Until she finds out that he thinks she is a total lush and tries to obtain her fired before she even starts the job. Then, he needs a 90 day favor to save a large acc after his grandmother experiences health issues. Who needs Paige now?I binged this book so hard. I may have even shed a tear or two and gasped a time or two and swooned quite a ige and Ward just kept trading barbs and I do love a female hero who can throw some le writes the best characters and when she throws in characters from her other series it makes me so giddy to obtain a glimpse of their life after the epilogue. (Ya know, like they are true people).Now...here is the part where I wish a book for another hero and....drumroll...I need to know what is up with Nick and Reese. The playboy and the nosey and chatty chauffeur.
I am a HUGE fan of Nicole Snow (and if you see my other reviews, you already know this) and I think that every book by her just keeps getting better and better, but it is TRUE! Bossy Grump is everything that you wish in an opponents to lovers fake romance (which by the method combines my two favorite tropes)! It has two super stubborn people that are thrown in a situation that forces them to be intimate, an amazing and fun time! I LOVE Paige and Ward, these two are so freaking various but it is amazing to see the other side of them that don't obtain shown often. He is stubborn and *BOSSY* and she is cheerful and driven but you can feel the connection radiating from them! After I finished reading it, I just could not support but smiling! It is just a fun and sweet (but also steamy- WOWZERS) read that I HIGHLY recommend you checking out!
I read this entire book from begin to finish with a smile on my face and a laugh in my throat. Page and Ward are astounding characters that you'll want were true so that they could be part of your life. They first meet when he rescues her from a dating disaster when she’s out celebrating her fresh job. Small does she know that he is one of her fresh bosses that she will be meeting the next day. He’s one for a controlled and serene working situation, and she isn’t. Add to that a fake marriage to improve his work image, and you have the makings for one outstanding and hilarious read.I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
One of the attributes that distinguishes humans from animals is our ability to love in a dozens of forms. We can love our friends. We can love our family—our parents and siblings. And then, there is that most unique form of love shared—romantic love—that often culminates in a encounter. Raiden Vanstone and Zoe Anderson, step-siblings and mates during their formative childhood and early adolescent years, never questioned that they loved each other. But at 12 and 14, they had not fully explored the nature of their love and if it might morph into e young companions were separated when their parents’ years of on-going arguments finally culminated in divorce. But, before the merged family split into two separate families, the two friends/step-siblings professed their deep devotion to each other by tattooing Raiden’s hip and Zoe’s thigh with the other’s initial to seal their , 16 years later, fate—and a hostile company takeover—has brought the not-quite-friends/siblings back together when Raiden’s tech genius and his tech empire consumes the company for which Zoe works. And the question both seek to understand is whether their undefined childhood/adolescent love still exists and in what format. And for Zoe, the cash and power held by her once upon a time best-friend has caused her years of stress as mates and acquaintances have tried to use her to gain access to her former step-sibling. So, while the two are drawn together, they are also repelled like opposing magnets as they test to explore who they are to each other as adults. And when Zoe begins to see the intervention of fate in a series of happenings preventing their attempts to come together, a relationship seems impossible—nature is sending messages!Lindsay Hart once more exams and crushes some of society’s misconceptions of how a woman and men should act, look and love and answer to each other in a work setting. Hart lets the readers fully appreciate the challenges faced by both men women seeking honesty and truthfulness in relationships, and desiring to be real to themselves. She offers the excellent comeback to the false patterns which society, and one’s on expectations, impose on the individual.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review ARCS, but I enjoyed the reading experience so much that I bought a copy for my "read-again" titles.
This is a very amazing book. Zoe and Raiden are both extremely funny and are terrific together. The story is very entertaining, and it is well written. Lindsey Hart has become one of my favorite rom-com authors. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving this review.
I can't obtain enough of this series. Every hero is special and wonderful. It's amazing seeing so a lot of various levels of littles. Mac is a former hit man and is very protective of his newfound friends, especially the boys. His love for Hayley is border line obsessive, but also so sweet. And Hayley's love for Mac has been brewing for awhile and he is beautiful obsessive over Mac also. I hope Jayme finds his HEA in the Christmas short story or a story of his own.
Completely and utterly taken captive by this story! It was EVERYTHING!!! SO MUCH ALPHA! Daddies, punishments that will have you squirming in your seat need I say more and this number do not disappoint. Scarlett and Silas have an instant and very explosive chemistry. The story moves rather quickly and both explore who they are to one another. Silas has all the daddy tendencies he never suspected or knew he had until the right small girl came along. That small girl is Scarlett and she has awaken the daddy in him. He helped /showed Scarlett all she required was a daddy. He is swift with any punishments for her bratty behavior. Their relationship is a small various but they define normalcy for themselves and it works for them both. Question is how far they will go for their very own HEA?I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the second book in this series im super fond of the author shes quickly becoming a favourite of il admit the beginning confused me a bit i didn't realise in the method it was written that Scarlett was at a job interview. It took till Silas Pov for me to see storyline centre's on Scarlett shes an artist and Silas is some what of a genuis come guru in the globe he helps his clients discover there potential and ings quickly simmer between them and Scarlett takes an immediate liking to his strictness and rules and soon sees that he is what she needs.I loved the small curveball that the author throws us and the epilogue was spot on. Yes you can tell i love an epilogue and this one was brilliant.4 Out Of 5 Hearts From Cariad Books.
This is the 1st book I've read written by Lena Little; she has done a amazing job at writing a amazing book; I can’t wait to read more of her e story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.I loved the characters.I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.
Oh, Nicole Snow! The comedy, the banter and the oh-so-hot & steamy romance makes your recent book Bossy Grump impossible to place down. I swear as I read through the pages, I could see Paige and Ward and their verbal sparring, and it was hilarious. Bossy Grump is not to be confused with Office Grump which was the first book in the “Bad Chicago Bosses” series. If possible, I would seriously apply at some multimillion-dollar firm so I could search myself a grumpy boss like the ones Snow writes about in these stand-alone books. The back stories are secret and hidden until you are well into the book which keeps you hanging on and just dying to search out more. I truly could not place this book down. I wouldn’t be surprised if the town of Chicago advertised these books for their tourism as a “What you could search if you visit Chicago” campaign. Seriously this is another amazing enemies-to-lovers romance by Nicole Snow. It will have you laughing then mad at “Wardhole”. Then laughing again and maybe a small tear here or there to finally leave you feeling amazing about love and life and all the unbelievable things that come with it. So, don’t wait! Read Bossy Grump, a 5-star book by Nicole Snow.A dream job with a not so dreamy boss. Paige Holly can’t deny that one of her fresh three bosses is a jerk, but she signed on to work with the creator of Brandt Ideas, Mrs. Brandt and if working with the “Warden” is part of the deal then that’s what she must do. Ward Brandt didn’t meet his fresh EA like most office encounters and though he can’t deny her beauty he just can’t have her around. When the unthinkable happens and Ward NEEDS Paige to support save the company is it possible for the Bossy Grump to recognize what he really has before him. Ward will do anything to save his grandparents company but what if it means losing the one woman that has been able to break through his carefully built barbed wired walls. The Warden is ready to rock the jailhouse, but it might end up being a dance for one if he can’t figure out how to behave with a certain blonde inmate.
This is Office Grump: An Opponents to Lovers Romance written by Nicole Snow. Sabrina and Magnus just rub each other the wrong method from their very first meeting. I love all of the snarkiness that they throw back and forth at each other while they attempt to work together. Brina is trying to create and save cash for a noble cause, while Magnus isn't quite as transparent. You will be cheering them on before long, just like me! I loved them apart and I loved them together! Ms Snow really knows how to draw you in and create you feel a part of the story. I was thinking of Brina as my mate and wanted to yell out and tell her what she should be doing more than once! It's a amazing book!
This one is about Mac the hit man, who is crazy about Hailey the boys fresh friend. They finally go out in a date and Hailey breaks his arm in accident. Mac takes care of him. It’s sweet & funny & hott! It’s another one in this unbelievable series! I just love these boys & daddies so much! It’s fun to see them again in this story. I really can’t obtain enough. She is awesome writer. You will love these characters!
These books are so dang sweet. I laugh out loud, sometimes I tear up, and I love the sweet mushy feelings. Also, uh, yes please more of the mysterious guys that Mac used to work with please! Starting with Lance and Jayme but all of them eventually would be awesome. I would have loved to obtain some clarity on Hayley's family- like an explanation about the commune thing or even a 'Mac visits the fam' scene. And all the books in this series would benefit from a final edit for grammar corrections but I really they're so so good
I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Scarlett and Silas have an explosive chemistry. They explore just who they are to each other fairly fast. Silas has a lot of Daddy tendencies even if he did not see it before. The Small girl in Scarlett calls to him. He is everything Scarlett did not realize she wanted. He is swift with any punishments she deserves when she is bratty. Their relationship might be different, but it works for them both. They have to decide how far they will go for their satisfied ending.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Lovely story illustrating how parents can sabotage their children's ability to form loving, trusting relationships. Zoe and Raiden were kids from broken families. Raiden survived his childhood better than Zoe. When Zoe and Raiden met again after 18 years, she suffered from anxiety and doubt. She was reluctant to give their relationship a try. Throughout much self reflection, Zoe admits how her early years have influenced her and that she loves Raiden. Raiden has his head on straight and gives Zoe the time she needs. This story reinforces my believe that couples should do all in their power to stay happily together. Our kids suffer from our actions. Amazing story, very well written!
This book will have you in stitches with the back and forth banter between Paige and Ward. Fate brings them together one night when he rescues her from a poor date disaster while she's out celebrating her fresh job. Imagine how surprised she is when she finds out the next day that he is one of her bosses. They're opposites in that he's a military like control freak who's arrogant and judgemental. She's gorgeous, full of energy and excitement, but she's a dreamer. They seem to bring out the worst in each other and are always aggravating the other one. The story is told from a dual POV. The author is a master story teller who has a special style. Once you begin reading this book you'll search it hard to place down. The characters are unbelievable and it won't take you long to fall in love with them. They both have some scars from previous poor relationships. A fake marriage to improve his image, a slow burn and twists to hold you guessing. Can't say much more without being a spoiler, but you will love this book. I received an arc copy via the author and voluntarily chose to review it.
Every time I begin a Nicole Snow book it is always hard to place down until I am finished. This one is no different. I need to go to sleep, but hold saying “Just one more chapter” at the end of each one. Ward is the excellent growly hero, hard on the outside, all chiseled and perfect, but soft and gooey on the inside. Paige is an optimist who has lost a small of her shine. The wars between these two are epic. The author comes up with things I would never dream of. One example is the coffee drama. That added so much to the story for something that was so simple. The family dynamics on both sides was also messed up which created them a excellent match. As always Nicole Snow [email protected]#$%! it out of the park with another winner.
I love this series. Hayley and Mac were excellent for each other. Mac was hilarious. He maybe a deadly hitman but Hayley had him wrapped around his small finger. And Mac learning how to date and be a amazing Daddy had me cracking up.... "No Mac, you can't kidnap him". And of course Hayley was just the cutest and sweetest Little. He brought the sunshine Mac needed. Their chemistry was definitely is book can be read as a stand alone but since characters from previous book are very involved, highly recommend reading the other books prior. You won't regret it. That are all very good. Now I'm anxiously awaiting for Lance and Jayme....very intriguing
It was so much fun reading about a small who knows what he wants, but is in no method a brat. The scary hitman from Mitch's story turns out to be a marshmallow with a heart of gold. Their dynamic is awesome. Mac bought a house for Hayley. Before they'd even had a first date. And as for Mac having been a government assassin once upon a time? Hayley could care less.
Scarlett interview is not going as planned & she gives Silas a piece of her mind as she feels he is being snooty. Silas lets her know he does not appreciate her acting like a bratty kid and that she will do as he says or keep a spanking. Silas awakens feelings in Scarlett that she has never experience before & she earns her first punishment her first day at the office. When she accidentally calls Silas, “Daddy, it stirs things in both of them and their relationship escalates quickly from there. Scarlett loves getting her sensual punishments from her daddy and Silas is more than satisfied to oblige to hold his small girl obedient. Silas has never been a Daddy before but he embraces it as the protective instincts he feels and wanting to create the decisions for Scarlett to hold her safe at all times. Scarlett loves being his small girl and breaks out of her shell & the surprise he gives her is the bonus of a lifetime. The epilogue and gift epilogue gives you the extended HEA.I received an ARC of this book via Book Sprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is Scarlett and Silas and their story. I was hooked the interview and whole interaction, the response that Scarlett had to Silas, all perfect. I love the characters and the imagery that she presents. Again I love that Lena Small refers to herself. The part where she meets Jack amazing. Just perfect.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A love the chemistry between the characters. I enjoyed the proactive feelings Silas has for Scarlett. When Scarlett is acting like a brat, he spanks her. She calls him Daddy and it stirs something in him.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
