Thank all who have place the effort into getting this application up and running. It is hard for me to obtain to Church . Now I have access to such unbelievable spiritual life light and truth in the word melody and everyday inspiration. God Bless you all for a light house a beacon of light. I now have at the hint of my fingers at every moment thank you.
Since I haven't had the privilege to travel to the HOME CHURCH!!!! It's amazing to have this application so I may see conventions sermons and other sermons coming from the HOME CHURCH. Also I love listening to the weekly church melody and to hear sounds of Praise from the HOME church as well as all the other services offered through this app. It is amazing that the HOME CHURCH made this application so we can obtain the word on a everyday bases and support with our spiritual growth when we can't be in CHURCH at home...!🙌
This is a unbelievable application and Reverend Hicks is a phenomenal teacher. If you really wish to know what the Word of God says, then this app, this message, and this messenger, create an amazing trio. The three together will enlighten your globe of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Obtain it you won't be sorry especially if you love the Word of God!!!
I just got this smoker yesterday and have yet to fire it up, but wanted to leave my initial terial seems to be top quality. In total it weighed 75 lbs. came packed in a very organized manner and the instructions were extremely simple to follow, although I recommend you have someone to assist, not because it’s hard, but holding the burner and doors on while you obtain you screws started will create things easier. Still not difficult by yourself but easier. They do contain a tray for additional water, which some reviews mentioned the water reservoir was small. Chip bowl is beautiful little but I think will be fine as it is simple to add more. I’ll be cooking with it this weekend and will add extra information then.UPDATE: Okay I have now cooked a couple of times and here is what I find. I still give this smoker a 4* rating, however you do have to create a few little adjustments. 1st time using I simply could not obtain the temperature above 200 on high with my tank turned all the method up. After several hours of fiddling with it I finally pulled the bottom water/wood pan out and the temp shot up to over 350 almost instantly. It appears the problem is the bottom pan is beautiful thick and fits just above the burner that it doesn't let heat to flow up into the smoker very well, creates and essential blockage and the heat just leaves through the bottom. The 2nd time I used it I took the additional water pan and placed it on the bottom just above the burner, this proved to work a lot better, but what to do with my wood chips. I went out and bought two little bread pans from the dollar tree and placed wood chips in one of those pans and sat it on the bottom rack. The issue with this was the wood wouldn't heat up enough to smoke, so about halfway through I moved the wood/break pan into the water pan. Once the water ran out the wood would make the smoke I was looking for, but you need water, so this solution wasn't SOLUTION: placed the additional water pan just above the burner, by removing the original, thick black pan from smoker, placed a little break pan with wood chunks inside that pan and then another little break pan with water inside it as well. This allowed the wood chips to heat up enough to provide lots of smoke and still provided the water you need to hold meal moist.With these minor adjustments that cost $3 at the Dollar Shop this machine is perfect. Maintained 250 degrees for 5 hours set on low and gas about 25% on all while cooking short ribs, turkey breast, and a whole chicken.
I purchased this smoker in time to smoke a turkey for Thanksgiving. I live in middle Tennessee, so it was around 40 degrees when I place the turkey on and close to sixty when I took it off 11 hours later. In that weather the turkey was a success. That said, it does leak a fair amount of heat which would be a issue in cooler climates. $20 worth of heat gasket should remedy that problem. The other problem I have is the temperature control is very finicky, and requires frequent monitoring to maintain the correct temperature. I imagine installing the heat gasket material would alleviate or minimize the issue, but can't say for sure. I will modernize my review once I have installed the heat gasket. Overall it is a amazing unit for the price, and hopefully is much improved with some inexpensive mods..
I am an avid outdoor griller/smoker and was in need of a fresh smoker. I did some research and decided to test a pellet grill as it would serve both options. The assembly was quite easy, with all the parts labelled. I did it by myself, so it took about an hour. All the tools were provided, and the directions were simple to follow. The initial set-up/burn off went as planned, and then I was ready for my first use, which was some St. Louis ribs. The unit heated up a small quicker than expected, so I had to begin the cover a bit to bring it back down to the 225 cooking temperature. Once that was accomplished, there were no issues. The unit does not come with pellets, so I went to Lowes and purchased some hardwood pellets. The smoking took a small longer than it did with my previous Masterbuilt Electric smoker, but the ribs came out great!! I used the same rub and cooking way as I used with my Masterbuilt, but I felt the taste came out better as the pellets are continuously fed through the system and adds the hardwood flavor throughout the whole smoking process. The only thing I would like would be a recipe book. Even though I do have my own methods, it is always amazing to test fresh recipes and methods. Also, it is a attractive looking grill and I have had a lot of complements from friends. Glad I purchased and would highly recommend to anyone.
Cuisinart isn't exactly a name I associate with outdoor cooking, but I was still very excited to test this propane smoker. I've been smoking meal at home for several years and have tried a few smokers out over the latest few years, including the Char-Broil Digital Electric Smoker with SmartChef Technology, the Char-Broil Easy Smoker with SmartChef Technology, and my favorite go-to smoker, the Masterbuilt 20050211 Black Propane Smoker, 40-Inch.I know a lot of traditionalists might balk at the use of a propane smoker, but it really does support create smoking much easier and convenient. The need to check the fire and temperature throughout the cooking process is all but eliminated, and that saves a lot of trips out to the smoker when you're smoking something that takes a while, like a beef soon as I started unpacking this Cuisinart smoker, I could tell the build quality was excellent. All of the pieces are quite sturdy and should keep up for a lot of years. The actual smoking box is very solid, not flimsy metal like a lot of other brands. And assembly could only have been easier if someone else would've done it for me. I especially liked the clear and concise assembly instructions and the fact that all of the screws and nuts were packaged separately in their own small compartment in the box of hardware (see included photo). That created it very to know which screws/nuts were which!The first thing I wanted to test in this smoker was brisket. I prepped the meat, place a mixture of beef broth and water in the water pan, filled the wood chip bowl with hickory chips, and got everything started. One thing I really like about the Cuisinart smoker as opposed to my Masterbuilt is the fact that the wood chips have no direct contact with the flame. This allows the chips to burn and smoke slowly at an even temperature. With my Masterbuilt, the wood chip pan has openings that let the flame to touch the chips. This can sometimes effect in flare-ups, which produce a high level of smoke and cause temperature fluctuations. No such problem with the Cuisinart!I also like that the Cuisinart's doors seal beautiful tightly. This means there is minimal heat/smoke loss around the edges of the doors. The two separate doors also create it easier to check the flame and add wood chips without opening the main door. This helps hold the smoker temps steady. One suggestion: If the wood/water pan had a bit of a handle on it, it would be much easier to obtain out of the smoker while wearing silicone gloves or using a pot holder. But that's a minor was simple to maintain a constant temperature while smoking the brisket, even over the course of 12 hours on a cold Michigan day/night. And the finished product was every bit as delicious as other briskets I've smoked in other smokers. (See the image I've included.)The Cuisinart COS-244 smoker is a solidly built smoker that should serve the purposes of almost everyone. The four racks let you to fit a lot of meat into the smoker at once. They are also removable, so you can fit bigger, taller things like a turkey inside. The handles are study, stay cool to the touch, and lock the doors tightly. Even the metal plate with the Cuisinart name on it is high quality. Like I said before, I expect this unit to latest a lot of years.Purists may not be too keen on propane smokers, but I love them. And this Cuisinart, even though it's a bit smaller than my Masterbuilt, will be getting a workout from me going forward. I highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a well-built, perfect performing smoker. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced smoker, the COS-244 is an perfect choice!P.S. A word about Cuisinart's customer service: When I unpacked my smoker, one of the brackets was broken off one of the racks. It was obvious that the weld just came apart somehow. So I emailed Cuisinart and got a response right away saying they would send a replacement rack out ASAP. I had the fresh rack in three days. Ya gotta love that!
Nice smoker. Small advice, don't seal the door with a gasket! Used it twice with no issues. Thought I was intelligent and thought keeping more smoke in was better. Wrong. Trashed a couple baby back ribs with creosote. The smoke created black tar all over the inside of the smoker and the food. They looked great, tasted terrible. Come to search out smokers need to breathe and this one does it through the seams. Leave it alone, and use it like it comes and it will work great.
I read horror stories about being damaged in shipping and the thermometer on the do it being method off. This could not be farther from the truth! The pack had 2 puncture/dents but the smoker was packed so well there was no damage! It was very simple to assemble the directions were great! Very strong/sturdy construction! I have already used it twice , only had it a few days, and everything was great. Just received my digital remote thermometer for the meat and the smoker and the thermometer on the door is right on! I love it!
Assembly: - Assembly instructions were straight forward & simple to follow. They were printed on high quality paper (instead of a copy of a copy...) - The unit is solid & well constructed - It would be helpful if there was a hole somewhere on the side or back through which probes for an exterior temp. sensors could be inserted. Currently, the only method to obtain the exterior temp. sensors into the unit is through the vent control in the back, which limits the closure of the vent - The door hinge positions are fixed, leaving no means of adjustment if the don't line up w the body of the oking: Contributing factor? Smoker zone is at 7500' - Water tray/chip bowl extends all the method front to back & side to side blocking upward oxygen flow. Even a separate smoker cylinder would not stay lit inside the unit - Wood chips/chunks will not stay lit, even after igniting the chips/chunks outside the unit w a propane torch - Water reservoir must be initially empty in to have the chips/chunks reach ignition temp - Up to a half hour & high propane consumption trying to ignite chips/chunks - Chip bowl method to smallSolution: - Tried a Masterbuilt flamedisk bowl, and after extending the legs latterly to rest on the bottom of the unit, the unit worked great. The chips/chunks ignited in a minute, produced plenty of smoke & needed a lot less propane to maintain the desired smoking temp.
My main gripes with this unit are the temperature gauge on the front and the water/wood chip tray. The temperature gauge on the door isn't very accurate but I guess that's the norm with smokers. However the wood/water tray is a problem. If you add water then the tray doesn't obtain hot enough to produce ample smoke. Not only that but the fat drippings fall into the wood chips cause ignition problems as well. If you run out of water you have to refill the tray which will drop the tray temperature and slay any smoke production. My work around was to place a water tray on the bottom rack to catch drippings and separate the wood chips from the water tray.
Amazing prouct. Assembly took just over a hour. Having a additional hand on certain steps is is was my first time using a gas powered smoker. I typically have always used a charcoal based smoker. Overall I am extremely happy with the results. This is a low maintenance smoking way and with the abundance of hints and recipes online it's hard to mess meal up.I used the extra water pan that was provided solely for water and used the black pan just for woodchips and it was smoking in a matter of minutes.Heat loss was minimal however it was a very warm day. The one noticeable thing about this product is the door as it very solidly is is a very sturdy item and I was able to fit 4 slabs of ribs with room for more.
I was a current electric smoker user who read up on pellet smokers and decided on this model for the size and point. I am not very handy with tools so when I unpacked the box I was grateful to see all parts clearly marked including the nuts and bolts. It was a bit of a challenge but an hour later I was ready to begin it up and break it in. After the one hour cleaning process of heating it up it was ready to go. It is very simple just filling up the hopper and turn the control to smoker and it was ready to go in 10 minutes. So I decided on Baby Back Ribs and Pork Shoulder and using apple wood pellets. I set the temperature according and 20 mins later it was ready to go. Unlike the electric there was no water trays or soaking wood chips which was exactly what I wanted, low maintenance! Unfortunately it did not include a recipe with the instructions (or I would have given it a 5) but it was simple to go on line and search recipes. That night we enjoyed amazing tasting ribs and pulled pork. This pellet stove is the method to go!
