More dolphins please. I'd love more colours, especially shades of lilac, purple and pink, red, orange and yellow. A separate zoom function with icon might work better because cells obtain coloured in when I test to zoom in or out. The title is Fish and dolphins, but there are more mermaid pictures than dolphin pictures. Please add more dolphin pictures.
I love under the sea pictures. You can allow your imagination really go crazy ( not that you can’t with other pictures ). These don’t obtain too bogged down with detail, nor are they too simple. Although there ARE a few fairly easy pictures in case a kid in your life would like to join you or you just feel like a more simplistic design that day. But even they are well done. I’m really enjoying listening to melody and coloring again. I search it theraputic. If I really love a picture I’ve done, there are apps where you can transfer them onto mugs, pillows, T-Shirts, etc. I highly reccomend this as an activity...AND ...THIS coloring book! 🐢🐙🥽💫💫💫💫💫
This book is listed as an adult coloring book but I believe it could be for colorists of all ages. The marine life come in all sizes and difficulties to color. As with all Jade Summer Books there are two pages of each designs and digital downloads of the pages on their web site. The designs are printed on one side of thin paper with black backs to support prevent bleeding.
Single sided pages with black behind each page so you don't have to worry about bleeding through. Enough detail to hold you occupied but not too much to bore you. Will recommend for sure!
I purchased this book to add to my ever growing Jade Summer collection, but was rather disappointed when I received it, but not for really obvious reasons. The paper quality is of the usual value that I have come to expect with the Jade Summer books - not top quality, but not really poor either. I'm beautiful sure they use the CreateSpace paper, which a few brands of coloring books use - most people dislike it, but paper isn't a large breaker for me when deciding on a coloring book, UNLESS it is really terrible. It is the usual set up for the Jade Summer books also; two of each image, which I also like because if I am not making a complete mess of a page and needing a second copy, I like to often have a "master copy" to keep, just in case I feel inspired to have another go at creating the same page again, but in a various way. Here's where I started losing interest though. The artwork, while clearly drawn, is probably more suitable for older children, or those who have problem with seeing fine, detailed images. The photos are huge and have plenty of zone to color in, so for those who are looking for detailed marine life, or even moderately detailed marine life, this is probably not the book to purchase. Compared to the other Jade Summer books, this one does indeed seem almost childish, dare I say? I donated my copy, and will be additional careful will every I create from now on.
This was a bonus from my husband. Such cute marine life. I am having fun coloring it. I like to use colourful pencils because you can blend the colors in better then gel pens. It is one sided and black on the other is a few samples that I did.
I was very excited about coloring marine life, but I got very disappointed with the quality of the paper. It is not white but sort of yellowish with a very sort of newspaper texture which makes the colors difficult to absorb. Some of the pages are nice and with some level of difficulty, but some are very childish. I do not think it should be considered as an adult coloring book. I think it is mostly a disappointment. What I am doing to overcome the paper (bad) quality is to photocopy whatever page I like.
Having commercial requests for ordering or reviews on the backs of the pictures spoils this item as a potential gift. The pictures are beautiful but I have never had black backed pages with advertising on them when I ordered "coloring" books. Very disappointed. Will certainly not from them again.
Cool coloring book. I use it to ease anxiety. Coloring helps me de-stress. This book is super cute and the designs are awesome. The pages are beautiful thin though but I'm cool with it.
I can't say enough how much I love Jade Summer coloring books. They are my absolute favorites! They range from detailed to easy with amazing artwork. This book also contains a pages from a few of the other books so you can see and color them! Thank you! My only thing would be that I would love to have perforated pages to remove them from the book for framing or saving in a binder.
This is just the cutest coloring book! I have always been fascinated with ocean and ocean life so I definitely had to it!! You can not go wrong with any of Jade Summer's coloring books
I ordered this coloring book for my 7 year old niece, who has outgrown most coloring books for kids. She absolutely LOVES it! This Auntie loves seeing her nieces & nephews happy!
I bought this for my 6yo grandson and he loves it! There's a amazing amount of detail for the more experienced "artist," besides its a amazing time to practice my blending skills. It has easier pages for the younger coloring enthusiast! We love anything with fish and water! Grandma likes to color fish too. My small guy likes pictures to be accurate. You have to color fish the right, realistic colors. So fun! We use colourful pencils, gel pens and markers. Crayons... There's only one picture per page.I might have to another!
I love the style of the drawings in this book because they depict true types of fish and other sea life, but are drawn in a cutesy way. I am a large fan of Jade Summer books and this one didn’t disappoint!
Lots and lots of pages to blissfully color away on – and it's nice there's nothing on the reverse side, just one design per page. This is the largest book I've seen in this range
My grandparents lived in Japan for six years as my grandfather was stationed in Japan with the Air Force. Coloring in this coloring book reminds me of so a lot of nostalgic things that are still in their house. I also search myself reminiscing with all of the stories they have told me my entire life. Thank you. They hung a picture on their fridge!
Amazing coloring book. Intricate pictures with lots of details. Amazing stress relief. Highly recommended for people of all ages.
This is a nice huge book. Has nice dozens of pictures. The paper is amazing quality and when using markers they don't bleed through.
The re created it I guess, and now its lovely, so much to color, some little drawings but very detailed work so it doesnt take weeks to do a page, and some huge with wonderful amounts of detailed work to do. pictures r not double sided, so if ur worried about bleeding just place some card board under the page.
Attractive pages. Super nice paper. I've just used color pencils so far and the colors come out great. I'm enjoying this book.
We spent 20 days at camp this summer and some of my young adults required a relaxing activity to do while children were away. This book was excellent for clearing their minds and recovering from a tough college semester. There are a large number of interesting drawings to color and paper quality is perfect for this activity.
I mean it is a descent coloring book but like some other reviewers it is mostly blacked already so there is not much room for your own creative touch. I guess it's okay other than that.
Even as a child, I was never amazing at coloring. As hard as I tried, I could barely stay in the lines. A few years ago, my mom got me some adult coloring books. I had NO interest. I gave them to another family member. I decided to give coloring another test and bought this book. I wasn't expecting to like it but to my surprise, I found coloring to be relaxing and calming. I loved this book and can't wait to obtain another!
LOVE THIS ! I’ve purchased several adult coloring books over the years and this is absolutely my favorite. Such quality and obvious artistic talent went into this book -will hold my eye out for others down the street from this artist -meanwhile this will be my “go to “ bonus for several for Christmas and unique occasions !🐠📘
Veronica did a attractive job on this Adult Coloring Book. The art is on one-sided paper, exhibiting fine-point drawings of which are very beautiful & professsional, yet have a lightweight and fun feel. This is a amazing underwater/ sea coloring book with explanations on separate pages explaining in detail what each photo is along with their purpose in the ocean.
I wa very impressed with the detail and the quality of the paper. I color quite a bit and look forward to coloring these unbelievable pictures.
Wow, what a attractive coloring book! The author has really place together an awesome assortment of original drawings that hold you captivated as you color. I am very happy with this and will be buying them for my mates at Christmas time. A very amazing value for a very amazing quality book.
This coloring book is fun to color with beautifully handcrafted sea life drawings. I highly recommend picking up a copy of this book. I look forward to more creative drawings from this artist.
Not only am I eager to start coloring in my newly ordered book, and getting lost in Veronica's intricate and intriguing details, but I'm as excited to give these special coloring books as bonuses for the holidays.
