Connected to muse with Samsung note 3 well. However more explanation about what various signals mean would be useful. This is a very primary guide that does present your own signals but at this point not much more than a Wikipedia entry. Hopefully will be more over time.
Amazing neuroscience & BCI teaching tool! This application is a amazing introduction to EEG and brain computer interfaces, and can be used with the Muse brain sensing headband as a teaching and learning tool in classrooms, demonstrations, hackathons, and more. It explains EEG brain signals in a clear and comprehensible way, with true and interactive examples. Highly recommend if you wish to learn more about the brain, and especially if you have a Muse headband.
Very well done. Affective. What about a easy android game now? 1) Muse headband 2 connects effortlessly. 2) Perfectly picks up eeg. Responds to eye blinks. 3) I could even detect alpha after meditation . 4) next step could be biofeedback android game like move a ball on screen or 5) take an average of 5 epochs and filter out the alpha part and present a colourful spot on screen (maybe) which can change to more blue or some color based on increase in alpha. I am not a developer. Will readup on this project. Would be fun to contribute in anks
Amazing book. However, a lot of of the graphics are truncated on the right - which is likely more a effect of not good amazon engineering re the kindle than the book authors. If info in this zone of truncation is salient (often is) this makes it quite difficult to learn the material. Googling makes evident that the graphic truncation is a generalized issue and not isolated to my system/setup.
This book has helped in so a lot of ways. The book gives realistic EEG examples, and goes into amazing detail about the morphology, frequency, zone of different waveforms that may be seen on an individual EEG. This book has helped me tremendously!! GREAT EEG TOOL!!
This book (Kindle e-book ver - I already have the paperback of the earlier edition) has some nice features and online content that could be quite helpful if someone with some technical expertise had been involved. The videos of the EEG tracings are too little to see the electrode labels or obtain a amazing view of the info of EEG activity they are trying to describe. The annotation is minimal and could be much more comprehensive. The viewer has no size controls and so there is no zoom function. Correct this problem and I would give it more stars. These issues are unfortunate for an otherwise fairly amazing quality atlas. I wanted to use it as a text for my classes but will hold searching.
Initially, this seems like a useful app. HOWEVER, it has 2 obvious faults: It immediately DELETES ALL INFORMATION and its directions when my screen turns off or I switch to another app. SECONDLY, it is NOT designed to contain extra waypoints or other points that would direct the route of the elevation profile to any customised path other than the default. So I suppose that I could break up my route into sections in to take a specific route, but this seems unduly inefficient, since I'm trying to obtain a feel for the elevation profile of the whole route.
