Where history books put dry facts, dates, and seemingly distant, irrelevant stories, this book brings home the first person accounts of the brave and dedicated organizers of the Ford Rogue Plant. Spanning from the 20's to the 70's, these accounts are told in the words of a tapestry of workers, union officials, and politicians. The stories they tell are moving, riveting, and allowed me to actually understand whate really happened in the unionist movement from the people who were e book focuses not only on what happened, but why. It takes a concentrated look at what was going on in America politically and the result that each thing had on the move to organize. The format is clear and concise, but it is still very intriguing reading.Everyone in America should read this book, and anyone who has any interest or membership in an American Trade Union of any kind NEEDS to read this book. It's what it is all about: freedom, democracy, power of the people when they stand united.

The greatest mistake. i received this as an 8 track from Columbia House without ordering. it was my selection of the month and without knowing the agreeemnt I opened it and what a surprise. It was one of the recording that turned me on to blues and jazz. Very and inspiring. Mellow and moody. Buy it!
I am so proud that my father and his partner were able to make this book-a tribute to the real heroes of the UAW and that historic time in our American History. True People share their stories, their passion, their fears and sometimes the violence in their lives. The blood and sweat and tears of men and women who risked so much to make a powerful union for mate Ian Eugene Ryan does a stellar job with the narrative-his rich and velvet voice resonates. Congrats! Now this should be a movie.
Android game is fun and has potential but has too a lot of "pay to win" features that ruin the game. The android game will create you to complete everyday quests and there is no method to avoid it. There is no method to obtain better heroes unless you pay. They need to have rework the android game to let for the to play players to progress. Fix these problems and the android game would be a 5 star easily
John Mayall's albums with American musicians are further jewels in an already well encrusted crown and this is one of the best, neck and neck with that other momentous achievement 'Jazz Blues Fusion'. The songs at this time were cars for extended musical exploration in the jazz/blues/boogie vein and when you have musicians of the calibre of Harvey Mandel, 'Sugarcane' Harris and Larry Taylor in the band you know those explorations are going to be smoking. Everyone stars here - 'Sugarcane' Harris's violin wraps everything in a blanket of electric funk whilst Harvey Mandel's snaky guitar lays over the top of the fluid bass work of Larry Taylor. This is a timeless and essential old favourite. If you haven't heard it, give it a spin - I'll be surprised if you aren't seduced by its simple charms and search yourself returning again and again to immerse yourself in its special sound. Brilliant album.
This compelling, science fiction novel takes you on a journey to remember. The plot is supported by a narrative profluence that moves effortlessly throughout the story. One of the special things I found within the book was the "memos" left within some of the sections and how special the book is overall. I have only read two historical fiction novels in my time, this is the second, and I must say I truly enjoyed my latest thing, if you are into fantasy fiction, a futuristic approach, this is the story for you. This author has place so much into this book, and you can tell how well the book is written. I highly recommend it and look forward to the next part.
I don't know why it took me this long to replace my vinyl copy of USA UNION with the CD. Because the moment I place it on the player & listened, I was reminded all over again of just how amazing this album always was & still is. Looking back over John Mayall's career, it's fascinating to see that while he never strayed from his intense love for & focus on the blues, he was constantly finding fresh ways of exploring that vast field of , with a violinist but no drummer among his sidemen, he delivers an eclectic mixture of original songs: some with an urgent notice ("Nature's Disappearing"), some sinuously sensual & drifting ("Deep Blue Sea"), some humorous & raucously joyful ("Where Did My Legs Go?"). And he's got one of those voices that may not be technically superb, but that suits his material perfectly. For me, not a poor track to be found β most highly recommended!
