I was expecting something along the lines of an outdoor cover used to cover a grill. This cover is really thin, related to the thickness of umbrella material. To hold it on, you'll need to tuck it under the snow blower/e box states: "Protects versus snow, ice, sun damage, rain, dust, tree sap and birds." However, the doent that comes with it states: "This cover is not designed for outside storage; for indoor use only."
ADVERTISED TO FIT "ALL SNOW THROWERS" TOO BIG FOR MY SNOW JOE. WIND ALMOST BLEW IT AWAY. DRAW STRING DOES NOTHING TO KEEP IT ON. HAD TO USE SEVERAL BUNGEE CORDS. NOT WORTH THE MONEY.
I like this snowblower cover. I like the fact it says snowjoe on both sides and has a drawstring to tighten things up. I'm actually using it for the snowjoe ion18sb-hyb and it fits perfectly. It's not a tight fit and it leaves some room on both sides. The material seems beautiful amazing but I hold it covered in the garage. It might blow away if not secured or rip if outdoor animals/objects come in contact with it.
I ordered the cover for an 18 inch Snow Joe but for some reason it did not fit. It was very thick and durable. I returned it and purchased this larger one. However, this is very cheap. Not like the other cover. I'm not sure why this product is not created to the same standard as the other cover. Both are Snow Joe NOT BUY
Covered the snow joe as per instructions as I like to leave it on my deck ready to go. Cover only lasted about two weeks then got about a 2 foot rip in it on a windy but not true windy day. Very lite weight. Only use it inside a garage as a dust cover. Will not order a replacement.
An absolute joke. Save your money, use a huge garbage bag (essentially what this is only more durable). Doesnt really fit this snow-blower, as it is essentially just a bag. No method to fasten to the machine, so the slightest breeze sends it skittering across the neighborhood.
***UPDATE*** I did buy a little grill cover. Very thick and massive fabric. I'm sure this will stay on in a massive wind snow storm. Obviously height-wise it's a small long . But that's okay . Snow won't obtain under a cover .As I leave this on my ry, very thin cheap fabric. Does not cinch up well. Do not think it will say on in a high wind storm. I purchased this for the little Sno Joe snow blower I bought to hold on my deck so required something massive weight and durable. . Will be returning. I think buying a tarp or even a little grill cover would be better option.
I received this product on Nov 29 and tried putting the cover on my 21' electric snowblower. No instructions or pics showing how to put cover on e box had a picture of the cover on a snowblower .Tried to duplicate the picture. The cover has a draw cord that goes the entire edge of cover ,tried drawing the cord cover, tightens and comes right e slip lock on the cord does not tighten down. The product information on Amazon www service says protects versus snow ,ice, rain ,dust, tree sap ,birds. The inside flyer that comes in the box says NOT DESIGNED FOR OUTDOOR STORAGE,FOR INDOOR USE ONLY. So what is it created for. Would not recommend product to anyone ,would never buy again myself . Truly disappointed !!!
While it does go on the snow blower, it needs additional "help" to hold it securely on; the cord alone does not tighten it enough. I have to place a couple of rocks on it, and then it works fine.
I live in Northern Vermont. I have a hilly 250 yd dirt driveway and 4 vehicle parking zone to clear. For years I used a Toro OXE 836 which is a amazing machine, but needs a bit of pushing up hills in deep snow and required to be man handled a bit as well. The super Honda requires non of this. It goes through deep snow amazingly quickly. It will go up hill easily and rapidly. It throws snow miles. It even makes short work of the plow piles at the end of the driveway. Someone mentioned that it struggles in slush and wet snow - mine sure doesn't. This thing is totally dabomb. Doesn't use a ton of gas either.
I used it for my house for the past 2 seasons and weather the snow is dry or wet, Iv'e had no problems with "Clogging" or the reliability and quality of this machine. In fact i support my neighbors with my 2018 HSS 1332 atd without problems. I recommend it for those who like the best
I spent a fortune latest January (2018) on a brand fresh Honda HSS1332A snowblower -- and have used it on our NH driveway about a dozen times since. Imagine my surprise when, a couple of weeks ago, I started it up after a snowfall of 10 inches or so and found it wasn't "driving straight." I investigated, and found that the metal of the auger housing just behind the scraper bar had both badly rusted and -- shocking! -- curled back, therefore compromising the forward movement of the machine. I called the dealer where I had purchased the machine, and -- even after I sent photographs of the hurt (see above) -- was told, summarily, "Sorry, but we can't support you." Now it seems I have to search a VERY SMART welder who can conceive a solution. Would I buy this machine again, you wonder? Not on your life -- or mine. I hate cheapness in any form -- but on a snowblower as expensive and reputable as this one, it's practically a crime.
Purchased the Honda HSS1332ATD a few years ago as I relied on the company’s reputation and features stated on their e is an expensive machine which is very well built and has a plethora of amazing features. Unfortunately, if the machine encounters wet snow, it’ll begin clogging and instead, slowly push out frozen bricks. When your wife kicks you out of the house when she finds out you blew $3600 on a clogging snowblower, you can use those frozen bricks that spew out of the chute to build yourself an ’s a shame because I really wanted to like this snowblower but having it clog frequently on wet snow makes it useless. Especially when compared to my previous Toro snowblower which never clogged once in the 11 years I have owned it. The Toro was able to handle wet snow and slush without a single clog.
Machine is a beast and has some nice features my 13 year old Ariens did not have. They also fixed the clogging chute problem in machines manufactured after September 2018. They will replace the chute for those who bought their unit before that date for free. This thing is the best snowblower created for the price and size.
I bought a Honda HSS1332ATD when they very first came out. Terrible, only created snow bricks. Honda states that the issue was only in Fresh England, if you check on line, everyone had the problem. I just got mine fixed with fresh chute, for a warranty issue, not a factory recall. They should of contacted me not me finding out through grape vine. So anything Honda that's fresh NO NOT PURCHASE until several years later. It seems they do NO R&D. Now the machine is what I paid $3,400 for FANTASTIC! Only buy new, after 3 or more year of production. I.e. Fresh Honda EU2200i (evidently you could be caught on fire with it); which by the method I will buy now that it is safe. If I would of bought in 2019 it would of been 5 stars, this FUBAR is only worth the best 3.
This machine is a beast of a blower that has cleared our 1/4 mile driveway when it was too deep to plow and the sides of the driveway had become too high! As far as all of these clogging reviews; I always spray a small WD40 inside the chute and drive into wet, sticky snow, very slowly, throttle wide begin and the chute straight up so the snow can shoot out quickly and not through a half-closed chute.
Durable and simple to cover the blower. It’ll fade a bit if you leave out in the sun, but it has held up to repeated use. Very nice to have if you wish to cover the blower between uses without returning to the garage, such as when the forecast calls for several days in a row. Method better than messing with tarps and bungee cords when you’re wearing gloves.
The cover doesn't cover the entire snow blower. the zone where the operator stands there is no coverage from the material at the bottom foot. look at the pictures they failed to present this looks like I'll have to push the handles forward during the off season just to obtain the tarp all the method down beautiful disappointing another foot of material would have been perfect. seems massive duty. I own the 24" huskvarna snow blower so this was supposed to be created just for that snow blower. UPDATE: to hold the cover from blowing off and to hold the snow out I had to release the out chute spring so chute would lay down and bought a package of cheap spring clamps, fits beautiful amazing now, [email protected]#$%! fit this amazing on it's own.(see pics)
This is a nicely constructed cover. I have the 330 tracked Husqvarna snowblower and this cover fit it perfectly. Do not listen to the reviews that say this cover wouldn't fit the Husqvarna 224 because it fit my creature snowblower.
This cover fits my Husqvarna ST 330T track drive snowblower. The elastic band along the bottom is effective but my snowblower is always outside, and I live in a high-wind zone, so I added four strategic grommets to use with carabiners to attach the cover to the machine. It’s simple on and off, reinforced at stress points and well-made, so it was worth the cash for me.
It has not quite been a year with this product but it has lasted well at this point. The downside of this product is that its hard to place on mainly due to how tight it gets. I would love one side of it to be marked to create it easy. For me, it's almost impossible to place on the blower when it's dark out.
I have an Aries, 28 in SHO Delux. Fits perfect. I had an Ariens cover that only lasted 4yrs, and was very thin. ripped at the handle area. this cover fits great, looks awesome. material seems to be a much better quality than the ariens cover.
Amazing cover ... I'm using it for my lawn mower during the winter to hold the snow and rain from it this winter ... it nice and huge and covers it completely!!
This picture is EXACTLY why I have a snow blower cover! My dog pees on that snow blower each time he can obtain at it. Having a cover not only keeps it dry and snow-free it also keeps my dog from peeing right on it. It goes on easily and can accommodate a fairly huge snow blower. It has lots of straps to hold in secure too
"I recently sold my home and moved into a rental home. The homeowners chop the grass at the rental home so I required to cover my lawnmower to protect it until I decide to sell it or move. I was looking for a cover that was durable and would protect versus all conditions. I have my mower under an begin shelter and this appears that it will work perfectly. The material is durable and I like the strap built-in that will keep the cover on the mower. Overall I am very ank you amazon. I recommend them!"
We don’t have a garage so our snowblower and lawnmower sit in our shed during the season that its not in use. Well it required to be covered and ive been looking for one for a while this one finally fit the bill. ITs huge enough and meet all of the standards . It held up all summer and didn’t rip. We were impressed at how well it held up being shoved into and out of our shed.
This is great! We have had to shop our lawn mower and snow blower outside lately. So we bought these to protect the lawn mower and snow blower. Amazing cover, thick and all weather durable. If you need to shop anything outside definitely buy one of these covers. Affordable and simple to store.
This cover fits my 28” Ariens snowblower just fine with even room to spare. It’s created from amazing quality and it won’t rip even when the wind gets inside it and it blows it around like crazy!
Amazing for a two scene snow blower. For single scene this might be too big. I have a two scene cub cadet and it was just a small bit huge but ok. Quality is good. It was raining all day and with this my machine was not wet for a single drop.
Winter has arrived and we just got a snowblower. I wanted to protect it so I got this cover. It's working great! When it's time to snowblow, the cover comes off easily.
Simple to take off and place on. The design is perfect. WIth a bulky cover like this, it is frustrating for one person to have to struggle to place it back on after you take it off. Especially in 10 degree weather with cold hands. Not so with this one. It has a small tab that shows you the front so you can obtain it lined up the first time.
This cover is exactly what I expected. It's beautiful and it suits me. The shape and size of the boat and the capabilities of the different protective cases create this decision very easy. I read some reviews and listened to suggestions from others, first putting the handle on the cover. Literally, the cover was installed on the snow blower in less than a minute. The canvas-type material appears thick and durable, while the elastic band has a firm elasticity, making it a promising vibration result that lasts for more than a winter here.
