This review is by a misplaced Hawaiian in Florida. Bruddah Waltah's Hawaiian Reggea album is awsome. You can hear its influence in all Jawaiian music, also known as Hawaiian Reggea. The melody as a whole is light hearted and fun loving but Brudah Waltah does it with such passion that other Hawaiian artists took message and followed suit making there own Jawaiian albums.
WOW! Praise God, forevermore! I am amazed that God has given me the desires of my heart of such joyful music. Not just singers of songs, but praisers of Our Most High God. Please, don't pass this one up. What a blessing it will be to you and other people who hear this. Right now, it is being heard by some men in prison in Texas. God's Word will not return to Him, void; it will prosper.
My parents are Jamaican and i grew upIn America listening to Reggae. I wanted the same for my kids. This is an perfect selection. Def not one of those kiddy CDs where you are ready to go crazy after hearing the tunes too a lot of times. I search myself singing along and listening to it even when the children aren't in the car. Amazing songs for children by true reggae artists. When this one gets wore out i will def purchase again to replace. Perfect choice.
I devoured this book in a weekend at the beach! Having lived in Negril, during this golden era, this book is not only an entertaining story, but provides humorous insight into everyday life in this unique place! Oh unique note was the trip to the post office, some old familiar haunts and lots of smiles about the local characters! Highly reccommended for anyone who called this put home, or wants to! Goes down especially well on the beach, toes in the sand and a margarita in hand!
