Kangaroo Home Security Yard Sign []  2020-1-21 18:18

I was looking for an alarm sign that wasn't too expensive and wasn't for my actual alarm (to throw potential thieves off). This sign is very amazing quality and comes nicely packaged for the price. It has a convenient folding plastic stake that beautiful much sets itself up when you remove it from the box. Simple to place into the ground and bright yellow so simple to see.

    Ring Security Yard Sign []  2020-2-9 18:2

I’ve wanted the Ring solar yard sign for a long while now, but was excited to see this fresh low cost option came well packed in the typical Ring e sign is related to most other alarm signs, but has a reflective finish on the front and a smaller logo on the e stake is aluminum with the option of adding the middle aluminum piece for more height. I left that piece out for now.Overall the sign feels very solid and the was reasonable. I plan on moving this sign to the backyard when I eventually obtain the solar can see the reflective finish in my latest image that was taken with a flash.

    Ring Security Yard Sign []  2020-2-9 18:2

Just received this sign 15 mins ago and it’s already in front of my house. There was a related ADT sign in front of my house which was left by the previous owner, and the two are of comparable quality. I’m happy (truly), though there’s a bit of room for s:1. It’s a sturdy sign which should stand up to the weather2. The spike on the top makes it simple to ns:1. The sign is riveted, rather than screwed, to its post. For most people, that may not matter, but I wanted to take one, unscrew it, and attach it to my fence near my back gate. I’ll still do it, but I’ll have to drill out the river, first.2. The sign mentions “audio/video monitoring”, but there’s no equivalent verbiage for their alarm service. I can’t call it a real fault since you know what you’re buying, but I want Ring offered such a sign.3. The rod isn’t one single piece. That’s was likely done to reduce packaging size. I don’t think it’ll affect its sturdiness much, but the ADT sign was a single rod.4. This may be a bit bit picky, but I’d prefer it to be a few inches talller.

Kangaroo Home Security System (Motion + Entry Sensor) [Book]  2019-12-6 18:14

If you do not sign up for their monitoring you only have an alert through their app, no text, sound or voice alerts. You have to check the application to search out if an alert was triggered and if you have the application begin at the time of the alert it does not present the alert. You need to close the application and reopen it to see the notification. When you do have an alert, you have to disarm and rearm the device, no other options. The application cuts off part of fields in the setting, such as “create a safety word” the words after “.. verify your” are obscured. It did trigger alerts with motion, but the notification process is not acceptable. I would guess that if you signed up for their monitoring for $10/month the alert process would be better.

Kangaroo Home Security Motion Sensor (1 Pack) []  2020-5-14 18:3

Largest flaw would have to be no special alert tone; it's the same notification as any other app. It's not possible to distinguish.UPDATE: This company actually listened to my review and came up with a special alert tone! And a excellent one at that. It is semi quiet which is amazing at ensuring an intruder doesn't hear it, but eerie to where it wakes you up from deep sleep instantly. Ever since we had vehicle break-ins, we leave our vehicle unlocked with this alarm armed every night. We recently had men with gloves on going through our vehicle at 4 am. The kangaroo alarm notification woke us up. We looked at our security cameras and saw the burglars. We called the police and they responded quickly and arrested the individuals. We are pressing ank you Kangaroo. I told all my mates about this product. It works.I installed mine on the windshield facing down. It detects any movement in the car, and does not detect outside the car. At night, vehicle lights sometimes cause a false alarm, but hardly ever. We might move it inside the glove box to reduce false alarms. We will continue to leave our vehicle unlocked and armed to catch punks and have them arrested.

Kangaroo Home Security Motion Sensor (1 Pack) []  2020-5-14 18:3

I was super excited about getting a security system for my apartment!I got it in the mail on the 31st and had a hard time setting it up. Every time I went to enter my phone number I had to test ied entering is several various ways and all the ways the customer services representatives took the 2 days to obtain it to work through their application maintenance people (or whatever they are called). Finally got logged in and was a small disappointed because I thought it had a camera in it, but is only motion takes 10 mins for the alarm to says I can add people to my household but won’t send the invite to my so it takes like a min to actually send me a notification to my phone that they detected a motion.AND they don’t have it set up where if you don’t answer to turn the alarm off in time (which there is no alarm sound), it doesn’t call the police. You have to opt to do it ’s very easy use and not was I was expecting, especially for the price.I think it’s still relatively new? So maybe that’s why it’s so simple, but it gets 2 stars right now.

Kangaroo Home Security System (Privacy Camera) []  2020-5-16 18:2

I have nothing but positive things to say about Kangaroo. First off, their application and shipping times are solid. Instillation is a breeze, and didn't have any problems. The device itself is very good, I like how it looks, it's beautiful small, and the sticker is modern but sticks out to intruders. The pet-rejection tech has worked for me, and I like how it even shows you in the application apoun setup how to install it. The application is really easy (in a amazing way) and modern. It works like it should, but doesn't have hardly bells and whistles. You can hardly change the arming exit-delay (only 5 mins or 10 minutes) or set motion detection schedules. To be fair, IFTTT integration is coming soon, which will let much more customization, but other than that, it's really just "one use one purpose."After searching for months for a security system that would meet all of my need, I realized there isn't one. So I just decided to Kangaroo's motion detector. It worked great, and I saw that they had other products coming soon (including a keypad/alarm & door/window sensor with built-in motion detector), so I bought more. The arming/disarming is really simple, and with Apple Shortcuts, you can use Siri to disarm and arm. There is a 5 (or 10) min exit delay, which is helpful when getting everyone out of the house and such, but sometimes it's not necessary. It would be nice to have an "instant arm" feature. I've found there's about a one or so min delay when motion is detected and to when I obtain a notification (with high-speed internet), so that could be a small bit of an problem for some but works fine for e "Complete Plan" contains 24/7 Professional monitoring, which is a amazing option. It's only about $5 a month, so when you look at other companies like ADT or SimpliSafe, you will be saving a ton, but will lose dozens of features. The Monitoring agents are really friendly, calm, and professional, and are fast in response. I've only had positive experiences with them (the one time motion was detected) so I'm very satisfied in terms of customer service. The only issue i've found in the plan is that there is no cellular backup. This means that if you lose power (therefore internet), for some reason have no wifi, or if a burglar cuts your cables, then you'll have no security system. Most (if not all) other companies have cellular backup, but they also cost up to 5 times the price. So it's a feature that I'd like to see in the future, but maybe not important at the current point. The company is small, so I bet they just don't have the user base to be able to afford cellular backup at this tie customer service is easily the best I have every experienced. They are incredibly friendly, are so nice, and always give you what you wish in the long run. I requested three additional stickers for my home (expecting to pay) and they said they would send them for free. A couple days later, they said that they couldn't search any stickers to send me, so instead they were going to send three motion detectors!! (A $90 value!) I am incredibly satisfied with their service. Instead of waiting on keep for them to answer, you request a call, and when an agent is available, they will call you back! I requested one, and they called within a minute. Incredibly satisfied with customer service, but this is a little company, so I expect that this service may decline as they expand. (Just a theory.)I am especially excited for their fresh products. If i'm being honest, I don't think I would continue to their products if it wasn't for knowing that there are more to come in the future. I need a conclusive security system with a keypad (for guests and cleaning lady), and a siren. If you are just monitoring a vacation home, wine cellar, sauna or just have a tight budget, this won't be an issue, but for me, I'd like to use it on a everyday basis. So therefore, I am incredibly excited for their fresh products and will certainly s-Affordable-No false alarms-Functions like it should-Good Pet Rejection Tech-AMAZING customer service-Easy Modern App-Includes StickersCons-No cellular backup-Not much integration yet (IFTTT & Google Home coming "soon", Alexa (with Complete plan)Overall, awesome company. Kangaroo Home Security Motion Sensor (1 Pack) []  2020-5-14 18:3

I bought this mainly to work as a mail message device. My mailbox is all metal and about 200 feet from the router. Perfectly detects when mailbox is opened or mail is dropped in. Also was simple to install and ere are a couple of poor things about it which is why I took off stars. First poor thing is it takes 5 mins to arm. I believe this is to let you time to leave the room. However you can arm it when outside the room so this 5 min wait is useless. Also you can't exit the application during the 5 min arming e next poor thing is you have to dismiss and disarm the device after each motion detection or it wont pick up any more motion detections. Then you can wait 5 mins to arm it again. This is just a stupid design e next is just a minor poor thing but there is a 15 second delay between motion detection and getting a notification. I have a couple of other motion detectors and one is nearly instant.Update: 2/05/2019Adding a star to this because it has been below freezing for the latest few days and it still works outside in the mailbox. Note for indoor use you would be better off with wyze cam which is cheaper and has a camera.Update 8/13/2019Stopped working on me. I changed out the battery but it is still not working. No errors, it just will not trigger. So that is 9 months before dying. Might obtain another since it is so and might still be worth buying even if it doesn't latest a year. Going to try another sensor I have and see how that does first though.

Kangaroo Home Security Window Decals (5 Pack) []  2020-5-19 18:3

Pros:- Inexpensive for five stickers- Cheaper than from the manufacturer- Adhesive is good- Kangaroo logo shows on both sides of the stickerCons:- None at this timeSummary:I required extra stickers to put in windows at my house. I am glad I found this set on Amazon because it is cheaper than purchasing directly from the manufacturer! The stickers are the exact same that came with the Kangaroo Home Security system. I am happy with the stickers, the adhesion, and the quality.

I live in an apartment so it's also nice to know when maintenance has been in our unit so I can hold tabs on that. This is an affordable option for keeping my put secure.

You have to opt to do it ’s very easy use and not was I was expecting, especially for the price.I think it’s still relatively new? So maybe that’s why it’s so simple, but it gets 2 stars right now.

After installing 3 ring doorbells and security system with 3 contact sensors, 7 motion sensors, smoke and CO detector and a spotlight cam I should be entitled to this item of charge.

Overall the Kangaroo Home Sensor(s) are amazing for monitoring you home without a subscription service. The positives are that is a one time if you don't wish the 24hr service. It works with you phone very well as far as e "Almost Great" part lies in the fact that the company is fresh and still rolling out products and developing the of right now there is no method of alarming instantly. Kind of strange that the least amount of time you can set is 5 mins before the sensors are armed. If you activating from you phone you shouldn't have to wait 5 can also not arm one sensor at a time. I own 2 and would like a 3rd but decided versus it because it would go off if we had the rare guest stay over. 90% of the time I would be able to use the sensor but until they add that feature I am not going to and extra one. As for alerts, it takes about 5 seconds before movement is detected and sent to my phone. Not poor but not ter a phone call to customer service I was assured that the brand is growing and feedback was appreciated due to the fact that fresh products and fresh application interfaces were being worked on as I write this ere is a home keypad, entry and motion sensor all-in-one and an environmental sensor if you are worried about water leaks while away. Google assistant integration is also on the method but I have small to no hope it will be successful as Google overcomplicates everything with the assistant to the point of uselessness.Overall very satisfied and will more products in the future if the company adds the promised upgrades to their app.

I need a conclusive security system with a keypad (for guests and cleaning lady), and a siren. If you are just monitoring a vacation home, wine cellar, sauna or just have a tight budget, this won't be an issue, but for me, I'd like to use it on a everyday basis. I use it to allow me know when people are coming in driveway when I am doing begin houses for homes for in case I dose off if it is a slow day. What I don't like is if you leave it on a fence post - the light is really bright that goes on every 5 mins or so - at night. Which seems to be counter productive if you are using the device to alert of an intruder, who would clearly see the very blue light in the dark. The device would be excellent if you could turn off the blue light.

Kangaroo Home Smart WiFi Wireless Security and Surveillance System | Motion + Entry Sensor []  2020-6-25 18:3

Very excited to see what they have for the future!Hope you found my review helpful in convincing you to their products, and have a amazing day.

I have had zero technical problems in the week that I have had it. When the motion sensor picks up movement both the application and hey kangaroo staff are fast to respond! I definitely would recommend this as an incredibly easy, safe and affordable method to ensure the safety of your home and loved ones!
