My son is this application everyday. He is learning to read and gaining confidence in his ability to read. He loves the application and asks to use it everyday. I feel better knowing he is doing something positive on the application that is helping him obtain ready to succeed in school and learn to read!

In my opinion and according to my son's impression and experience after using and flying it, he said that the propeller wings on it kept falling off, also the battery did not latest long at all.
Loved this board book! The illustrations are very colourful to catch younger kids’ attention, and they are also detailed (and accurate!) for the slightly older inquisitive minds that wish to know how the body works. My 2 year old daughter loved looking and listening and kept saying ‘more’ and ‘again’ after we were done reading. I think the book simplifies complex processes well and does a amazing job explaining the ‘why’ behind certain things that are done at a doctor’s visit in a method children can understand. I especially like the joke near the end. Definitely highly recommend!
The Baby Medical School series of books to contain this book, "My Doctor's Visit," as well as "Bacteria and Antibiotics," and "Vaccines" are some of the best STEM books I've found for my young kids (ages 3-5 years old). I'm a U.S. Troops veteran and a premed biochemistry undergrad student and after reading about the authors I'm excited to see what other books they publish. Their books have just the right amount of terminology to introduce complex topics to young children without confusing them or losing their interest. The illustrations are great; they turn everything from doctors tools, to macrophages into cartoon characters while still retaining the form that identifies them as to what they are. Thank you to the Authors for this awesome series.
Amazing book! We took it to the doctors office and had everyone wanting one by the time we left. My son was going through the book while the doctor was checking out his brother making sure she was doing everything the book said
This is a board book, so I expected something for very little children. This is method too advanced for most children that board books are geared towards. Although it does say it is for 5yrs and up, most children that age are past board books and this may be too much for a 5 yr. old. just disappointed in how it was presented.
I want this book had been available when I was selecting the collection for a fresh elementary school library some years ago. It would definitely have found a spot on the shelf! Free of stereotypes, accurate, warm and encouraging, gender neutral--it checks all the right boxes. Smiley-faced doctor tools and giggling organs (when the doctor palpates them) create this book fun and appealing as well as medically sound. The text encourages kids to feel brave and proud for taking care of their body and, in closing, gives the kid a future perspective by suggesting that "You might become a doctor some day." I bought a copy to donate to our local public library's children's collection.
My daughter and I really enjoyed this book. It sparked a lot of conversation about how our bodies work and also a surprising amount of dancing. She especially enjoyed the illustrations, particularly of her heart in workout we were reading this book, I realized that she had never really thought about things like why we breathe. It is amazing to have a book like this to introduce those subjects. I have already pre-ordered the next two Baby Medical School books to obtain her thinking about vaccines and antibiotics.
Thank you for creating the Baby medical school series. We appreciate the scientific accuracy. I see that you have a book on Bacteria and Antibiotics releasing soon. Do you have a book on Viruses, Epidemiology, public health, (USPHS) that we can put an order for? I think it will be very helpful for parents explaining the current coronavirus pandemic to children.
My almost 4 year old loves this book, has it almost memorized, and corrects me if I leave something out! We bought it in anticipation of his 4 year old check up and it ticks all the boxes! Will be buying more copies as gifts. I hope these authors write more books like this.
Love this book. Got it together with a doctor's/nurse's kit for my daughter who dislikes going to the doctor's. The only thing I [email protected]#$%! featured were actually people in the pictures, such as pictures of doctors and nurses. I'm not sure the child is making a connection that it's about a doctor's visit.
I like it. My kids, not as much. These books are almost perfect. My five year old enjoys these small bursts of science, but I have to amend the title to "Quantum Physics for Family." Well illustrated complex topics, doesn't interest actual babies. My 20 month old won't have these.
These books are so great! They are so simple, even I am learning something. I love them! Amazing bonus for anyone with kids, or for your own children to obtain them interested in science.
I personally like them. They are very simple to understand---although the baby refuses to read them. But that is not the book's fault, the baby is very stubborn and also easily distracted. She does seem to like the flavor of the cardboard.

We're living in this crazy globe where some people don't believe in vaccinations, climate change, or evolution... for those that do, these books are a amazing basis to obtain your children started early. Sure, there are some slight cognitive leaps ("now the ball is quantized!"), but generally, I have very few complaints about these books. They totally beat a lot of the mindless garbage, or worse, anti-science propaganda that's out there.

I bought these for my 4 month old foster baby. He is just getting into the idea of being read to. These are nice because they are interesting for me, and they will grow with him over time. The illustrations, content, and grow with me features are all wonderful. The board books iare solid, and not super little like a lot of board books. They are a nice middle-ground size. I highly recommend these!
As a science lover myself, I really have fun passing that along to my kids. My 11 month old and 3 year old both have fun them. These four books are amazing and I'm definitely planning to purchase some other Baby University books.
These books describe concepts in a very easy way. I’m not sure if they will support in understanding the same concepts on a deeper level later on in life. They definitely are fun to read and obtain your small one to begin asking more questions

For most (myself included) the subjects these books cover are very hard to simplify. I must say the author does a amazing job of doing that. However, my love for science probably isn't enough to hold my kid interested in these subjects read after read. These books lack the engaging photos I was hoping they had to supplement my enthusiasm. Not sure if they will stand the try of eat idea but I think it misses the mark.
This is really for parents who wish to think they are doing something intelligent by teaching their kid these complex subjects at a you g age. In reality we barely use them because the illustrations are primary and not engaging to a young child. Our kid has engaged more with books with flaps or colourful pictures. One I highly recommend is goodnight numbers, lots of opportunities to discuss things in that book with a child.

I got this set for my niece for her 1st birthday. Her mother & maternal grandmother are scientists & they love the books! Although my niece isn’t reading yet, she’s entertained by them during diaper changes lol. My nephews are 5 & 8 y.o. so they have read them & it has started convos/Q&As with their mom about science & prompted them to wish to learn more. It benefits the whole family!
The newtonian physics book came with the first 2 pages sideways and the binding was loose so we had to glue it. The other 3 books were in amazing shape. I like the books and my baby enjoys looking at the pictures. We started reading these to him since he was 10 days old.

I love that these can grow with your kids. There are multiple levels of info on each page. At first- just talking about the letters could work. Then as your kid grows, discuss the photos, then the name of the pictured items, then the description. The info is visually tiered on the page to chunk it based on age and development of your small joy.

I love these books. They are kid friendly in both the design, layout, and definitions. The only critic I have is that the graphic and definition of Atom is incorrect in two of the books. I want there was a newer corrected addition.

Not sure if the author knows what a baby is. The illustrations are sad and the explanations are uninspiring, and I quote, “less mass, less warp.” Really? Couldn’t you eek out a bit more creativity?

I purchased this set of books for my son that really loves the alphabet. The books were overall a amazing deal with lots of amazing info for curious small minds! The only issue i have is with the zone abc book, it didnt have pages for letters g and h... When my son saw that letters were missing, he instantly lost interest..

I was a small leery when I ordered these books for my 10 month old son for christmas- I was expecting them to be little and uneventful, but my husband really wanted him to have them. Allow me just say that I was REALLY impressed when I got these books! They are a really amazing size, vibrant and sturdy AND they have 3 various levels of learning, 1 is just ABC, 1 is a small info about what the word representing the letter means, and 1 is even more information! These books are really going to latest and grow with my son. So worth the price tag!
I have some of the authors other books, and I wanted to like this series, but wow, it's method too advanced. The Physics one is beautiful good, with examples like "B is for Black Hole," "M is for Magnet", and "X is for X-ray." But the Math one has "B is for Base," "J is for Joint Probability", and "T is for "Torus." My son won't need to know those until high school! I prefer the author's other books, like "General Relativity for Babies" and I also recommend the science books by Ruth Spiro, such as "Baby Loves Gravity."

Useful review?
Can you set it up to where you can set the difficulty level? My 6 year old can't do half of the challenges when there is multiplying and division
