This is a truly inspired app. Image quality rendered on the watch (LG Urbane 3044) is very good. However, it is difficult to zoom using fingers on the watch screen (without hitting the app's icons). As other reviewers have suggested, single tap zoom buttons would be nice. Another complaint is that my Samsung S7 will 'spontaneously reboot' when I'm using the app's zoom function. Whether that is a bug with Wear OS or LookBehind is moot. Keep up the good work Pixtogram.
Using with Nexus 6P and Sony Smartwatch 3. On Smartwatch have 'WiFi' app installed so always connected to WiFi even if Bluetooth available. Not sure if that helps refresh yet works well all over house with minimal lag. Good job! Only 2 suggestions, where available use WiFi rather than Bluetooth and a frame rate so you can see it's actually updating (especially if your using it to keep eye on the kids in another room).
I like the app. There are a few things I'd like to request. Ability to save all settings. Save front and rear rotation settings. Always need to rotate both cameras currently. Also please save last used camera. It always opens to front camera. Thanks and well done app!
Tried this app twice on my Huawei watch. First time it locked up within seconds of first use. Refunded & uninstalled. Decided a few days later to try again & exactly the same. Locks up after about 5 secs of use. Can only get a refund once apparently so now stuck with a pile of @#$%e app that does naff all. Keep your money & steer clear!
Works! Only thing is that the back camera feed is rotated on its side automatically so you have to rotate the feed with the button on the smartwatch app. And the front camera feed is upside down until you rotate the feed twice but that rotates the back camera feed too
Shame the developer is so unresponsive. If they explained the broken Google process why it is necessary to appear to buy it in both the watch and phone, they might get more positive reviews. Sadly for them, I found an alternative which did explain the process and I bought their product instead.
Scam. Purchased on phone on play store. Went to play store on watch, asked to purchase again. After payment I get an error message. Can't refund the phone app because refund policy does not cover this app... That's in the play store. Don't lose your money for nothing!
Can anyone explain why the camera is always inverted/sideways? And why it always defaults to the rear-facing camera, if you're supposed to be looking behind? Not terribly useful if I have to reorient the camera each time. And why does it blank out the screen? It would be most useful if it continued to work while other apss were open on the phone
Really like the idea, and I plan to use it from time to time. Would like a way to set default camera orientation and view. The default inverted look is a bit wonky for both front and rear camera, but can be adjusted after launch. Add that in, and it'd be a 5*.
Data transmission (streaming) between phone and watch is quite good. Video is continuous enough, not stuttering as other apps do, similar to this one. However recording videos or at least taking photos would be elementary for an app like this. Without them this app is useless to me. (For not) maybe I'll re-purchase it if you add recording functions.
Installed on a TicWatch Pro. It works just as advertised. The controls are all on the watch. I wish there were some description of what the controls do, but I figured it out with a little experimentation. Starting from the upper-left hand corner, the controls do: switch left-to-right in the image, toggle the light on the phone (for looking in dark places), switch between the front and back phone cameras, and (the big circle with a dot) take a photo. The photos are stored in a LookBehind folder on the phone.
app must first be installed on both watch and phone. app is FULLY controlled by your smartwatch. that information was not clearly explained when purchasing or installing this app. however, once i figured out how to install on my watch, i have been very excited about using this app. i am absolutely certain i will have the need to use this app multiple times a day. now i am trying to figure out how i ever got along without it. picture quality will depend on quality of camera on your phone.
Perfect. This app is still as good as ever. Running well on my S10 plus and LG Urbane. You have to install it on your phone, then go to the play store app on your watch and install to the watch itself. Once done, an icon will show on your watch, launches quickly and video IS real time. Thanks.
Very Useful! Have it running on my SS Core Prime Phone/Fossil GEN3 Q Explorist watch. Convenient to execute via Google Assist. *(DEV... Would like screen controls to 'auto-hide' after 5 Secs so viewing is un-obstructed Please. Also, App needs to begin 180 degrees 'Upright' as its most common position for phone use)
Works great on my Ticwatch E running Android Wear 2.0. The app is bare bones but does exactly what it says and does it well. Just launch the app from your watch and it automatically opens up a live feed on the watch display giving you a view of what your phone camera is focused on. I use it all the time for checking in hard-to-reach places at work.
Very awesome and fun, I feel like James Bond. My watch is new, I've been looking for a cool 3D app to show it off to people (to no avail) but this will definitely be my "go to" app when showing off my fancy spy watch. I'm also amazed that the camera actually loaded. The camera on my stupid phone only works 50% of the time (I have to restart to fix it) but it seems to work on my watch just fine with this app! Super cool!
very nice idea and works perfectly for the most part, but you need to drop frames. i tried it while also streaming music over bluetooth and the decreased bandwith caused a progressively increasing delay. otherwise a great idea and simple and awesome implementation. love it. p.s.: also works while phone is locked. great.
