Normally I don't review apps but this just takes the cake. After buying a brand fresh 2018 Mazda 3 this has been the most disappointing part of my purchase. The vehicle and it's interior is beautiful. This seems like a polished turd that they call gold. 1) who's idea was it to turn off the vehicle engine as soon as you begin the door? If I can drive without the keys what would happen if I accidently drop my keys in the street when I've already started my car? Doesn't it turn off already? 2) another 'bright' engineering idea: the application makes you login with a secure password every time you use it AND enter a pin before you do anything. What the hell is the point of the pin? Don't I already have to unblock my cell phone to obtain in? 3) the augmented reality trick to search your vehicle is useful. You know what could be more useful? A map! You know for those of us that don't end up anywhere near our car. It's taking the systems greatest feature and limiting it. Overall this sours the otherwise amazing Mazda ownership experience with an incomplete application that surely seems to have been forgotten and left behind since it's development.
I can never log in, My password apparently doesn't work anymorr and the "forgot username" button doesn't do anything to help. This application will most likely lead to me never owning a mazda again. This is pathetic and has been broken for anvery long time.
As everyone else has noted, the application has stopped working in the past few days. I've tried everything including uninstalling & reinstalling. Previously, it did everything it should, although it could be faster & a bit more technologically advanced for the annual cost. Please fix soon! Temps are in the negatives & no one likes the feel of cold leather 😭
I live in Michigan. The application has been working since summer and fall seasons but when winter came it's not being useful atm. Can't login, can't communicate with the car. Either wireless connection or carriers data don't work. The only reason i bought this application is to warm my vehicle up so i dont obtain a cold butt and hands. It's 100% disappointed.
Besides reiterating all the other complaints posted here, I'd like to point out that I had remote begin on my 1984 Lincoln at no additional charge! A couple years ago, I bought a Volvo V60 and liked that it came with remote starting. Until I found out it costs an un-ending annual fee to use!!! I swore I'd never another vehicle that needed a subscription service to use its features. So what did I get? A fresh MX5 that comes with this application - as long as I an annual fee! I want I'd known this before I bought the car, it would have REALLY had an result on my purchase!
Application is very slugish. Takes at least 3 minute to login and begin your car. Not convenient considering the mark for the install and the yearly subscription cost. Would be faster to walk out and begin my vehicle manually. Cancelled my subscription after finishing my first year.
The application takes too long to use. Log in time is just too long. Not only log in with your password then you have to use your pin which if you're in a hurry takes time to do. Additionally, it has not been working it continuously tells me that it is having problem connecting so what's the point if it doesn't begin when you need it to.
It works well enough for me. Sure it takes about 30-45 seconds from begin to finish to begin the vehicle but the convenience far out weighs that. Anyone saying it takes 2 mins is exaggerating and it has not given me a single error notice in the 7 months I've used it.
I am also having the same problem with "Communication with car interrupted.' -20C and vehicle won't begin due to communication issue. Just had it installed two weeks ago. Seems to work well in mild weather but not in cold. What's the point. Getting it removed. Unreliable.
The application requests 'Usage Access' android device permision. It says that the application requires this access to ensure security. This is an extremely weird claim. In fact, if you provide usage access to an app, you will be giving full usage statistics to the Mazda app! Why on earth would that data be relevant for some application you use to control your car?!!
Mostly works. Unfortunately I have service with Sprint, so I am at their mercy of having a signal. Application has worked amazing for me until this past month. I had one day that it wouldn't work, but after I downloaded the application to my husband's phone it worked. Today, I have had zero luck getting the application to work. First it couldn't communicate with the vehicle. Now it tells me qhen logging in that the server is unavailable. Www service appears to also be down.
Warning. Application currently sucks. Slow, login and password a pain. Needs biometric sign in. Application needs updating. Vehicle finder is flakey at best. Dont this option until the application is updated. Dont keep your breath either, nothing has improved since the application was first released. Costly, annoying, junk. Smarten up Mazda.
This application is too slow and needs to be streamlined with a widget. Have a begin vehicle button created into a homepage widget that requires your fingerprint when activated. For the of this system it should be just as simple to begin your vehicle with your tablet as it would be a key fab. If we all knew it would take a lot longer and be a bit of a pain to the point where you don't even use it at all cause it is such a nuisance.
updated comment. its freaking disappointing one. it's been a week that I couldn't use the MMS application . it's always interrupted. and no customer service to support us. even the mazda company here doesn't know how to support me. come on mazda it's so frustrating.. I would tip others not to this, expensive and useless. I very much regret getting this..!
this application is very slow and I agree with a lot of other reviews that it needs to be upgraded. I am having the same problems as One reviewer said I live in Michigan and now that the weather is cold the application can't communicate with the vehicle. It's funny, I just started paying for the service because my first year was up! I have tried everything to obtain this thing to work and it wont. Now I will probably have to go to the dealer. Total waste of time.
This application is poorly designed, it takes too long to begin your vehicle with all the pins and passwords you need to enter. No fingerprint or face unblock to create it easier to use. Lacks updates from developers to create it worth it. No GPS map on the vehicle finder. The annual fee is too expensive for what you get, other systems from other vehicle manufacturers have functionality. No key fob given. Just a waste, dont install this on your car, save your money.
What is the point of command begin if I have to walk out and begin my car manually? sketchy connection and verrrrrry slow. takes about 5 mins to begin your vehicle. And needs a login EVERY time. Probably the worst mobile command begin on the shop and based on the other reviews Mazda cares not and has no plans to fix it. 👎👎👎
I won't waste my ( or your ) time reiterating what everybody else has already stated about this garbage application but, I wanted to point out to Mazda just how ridiculous it is by saying: There is a "Panic" feature in the application to activate the vehicle horn in an emergency situation ... What amazing is this feature if it takes two mins of entering login info and waiting for the system to activate ?
Most modern vehicles with key fobs have a way to diy program a 3 (or subsequent keys). You will always need 2 keys already programmed to the vehicle to have this st methods to procure these keys effect in paying 100+ between and programming. This is unavoidable if you only have one key...if you have at least 2, then purchasing a third one (like this one) is the method to eps were: 1. Obtain the key chop by a locksmith or huge blue or huge orange. This was the hardest step. I ended up going to a local Ace hardware, as HD refused to chop the key. Although the guy refusing me had seen me multiple stuff totaling thousands over the course of a couple of year, they would not chop the key.2. Program the key to be accepted by your vehicle security. In a 2013 Ford explorer there is an On/Off sequence with two working keys involved. Super simple, works.3. Program the key fob to lock/unlock, etc. This is another On/Off sequence with the key in the ignition. Initially I forgot this step and thought the battery was dead in the fob, as it was starting the vehicle (chipkey programmed correctly) but the buttons would not work. Once I programmed the fob to correctly (off/On 8 times) it was programmed, and now I have a fully functional is is key is IDENTICAL to an OEM key, minus the "Ford" emblem in the back. I highly recommend it.
100% Satisfied! Ford F-150 Platinum 2011. Bought the key for $30 here at amazon. Went to local locksmith to obtain the key chop and they did it for free. Followed the instructions in the manual to program the key for starting the car and then to program the buttons. Worked flawlessly. Saved $220 over the dealership cost and saved the $120 for the locksmith to program it. Worth it!
The delivery coordination was not good between seller and USPS, but I later found that it was more USPS than the seller... That aside, the product is great... Took the Key Fob Keyless entry remote to a hardware store, had it cut. took it home, followed the directions that were reasonable and was able to program the Key itself.. Could not program the FOB even after multiple tries... What I found out was that one step was missing and that is when one follows the directions to the latest step, one must press either the unblock or the lock at the same time one presses the same unblock or lock on the FOB, which allows the "Master" to transfer data to the FOB being programed. My local Ford dealer handled that at no charge and the Key and FOB work flawlessly...
I recently bought a 2013 Ford F-150. While scrolling through the settings menu on the dash of my truck I noticed a "remote start" setting. I was a bit confused because the remotes that were provided to me didn't have the remote begin button. I did some research online and read that F-150's created 2013 and after had remote begin from the factory, but just not enabled unless you for spired by below zero temperatures recently, I thought trying this remote would be worth the ~$22. Not only does it work and I have remote begin for $22, I followed the instructions provided to a "t" and the remote was programmed in about 30 seconds. Super simple process. After I was certain the transmitter was going to work, I took it to my local ACE Hardware shop to copy/cut the key. They didn't even charge me!! Double bonus.I couldn't be happier. Thank you!
Perfect product. Works just like my other factory keys. 2011 Ford Explorer. With two existing keys you can program this yourself. I had to follow the manual instructions to pair the key with the vehicle for interlock with both keys first, and then program the button functions with the rst obtain the key chop by a locksmith, then follow the instructions to program the ignition interlock where you turn each key on for 3 seconds with 3 seconds in-between and the latest fresh key leave on for 6 seconds. It took me a couple tries but it en program the lock unblock and remote begin buttons by following instructions online that ask you to begin door press the unblock button and then turn the key off and on 8 times within 8 llowing these two procedures will create the key work perfectly.
My Sport Trac had a key and then a separate fob to begin the doors. I wanted to have fewer stuff on my keychain and this key helped. I was able to easily program the key to begin the truck, and then (separate steps) also program the key to lock/unlock the doors. Steps for both tasks are below. The key works perfectly, and I'm satisfied that I was able to able to do the programming myself rather than paying huge bucks to the r a 2007 Ford Sport Trac XLT:To program the key to begin the truck:1. You must have 2 keys that are already coded to begin the truck.2. Take one of the already coded keys and place it in the ignition.3. Turn it to position 3 for at least 3 seconds, but less than 10 seconds.4. Within 10 seconds, take the 1st key out of the ignition and place the second pre-coded key in.5. Turn it to position 3 for at least 3 seconds, but less than 10 seconds.6. Within 10 seconds, take the 2nd key out of the ignition and place this new, uncoded key in.7. Turn it to position 3 for at least 3 seconds, but less than 10 seconds, then take it out of the should now be able to begin the truck with any of the 3 this point, I was able to begin the truck, but the key did not lock/unlock the doors. I had to also do the following to create the key lock/unlock the program the key to lock/unlock the doors:VERY IMPORTANT: ****You must have ALL the remotes that you wish to be able to use to lock/unlock the doors available for this process. Any remotes that are not involved in this process will no longer work.****1. With all remote devices in hand, close all the doors to the truck.2. Use one of the remotes and press the UNLOCK button.3. Insert a coded key into the ignition.4. VERY QUICKLY, turn the key to position 3, back to 1, back to 3, etc. 8 times. Finish with the key in position 3. You must complete this within 10 seconds.5. After the key has cycled to position 3 the 8th time, the doors will lock and unblock to confirm programming mode has been engaged. (the first couple times I did this I wasn’t cycling between OFF and position 3 quick enough, so the doors didn’t lock/unlock)6. Within 20 seconds, push any button on one of the remotes (such as this key). The doors will lock and unblock to confirm the remote is programmed.7. Within 20 seconds, push any button on the second remote. The doors will lock and unblock to confirm the remote is programmed.8. You can repeat this for a total of up to 6 remotes.9. When done, turn the key in the ignition to OFF. The doors will lock and unblock to confirm programming mode has this point, my fresh key both started the truck and would lock/unlock the doors.
I have a 2011 Ford F-150 I bought used that only came with 1 key, and it was programmed with the MyKey function which can limit a number of features in the truck. I bought this key, got it chop at Home Depot (do not have them program it, just chop the shape), then used FORScan (which is free) and was able to program it as a fresh admin key! Instructions for programming a fresh key with FORScan can be found here: programming will only allow the key unblock and begin the car, but the FOB buttons won't work initially. To program the FOB buttons, you obtain in the car and close all the doors. Then you begin the drivers door and leave it open. Hit the unblock button on the drivers door while it is open. Now take your fresh key and place it in the ignition. Turn the key to on and back off 8 times quickly (do not begin the vehicle). On the 8th time, leave the key in the on position and you will hear all of the door locks cycle. Then within 10 seconds, while the key is still in the ignition and in the on position, hit the lock button on the FOB. The door locks should cycle again which means it was programmed successfully. You can turn the key to the off position and it should be fully functional, including remote start!Another amazing thing about this is once my fresh key was programmed, I was able to go into the dash settings and turn MyKey off on my original key too!
It works! I was skeptical but I gave this Fob Key a test and it works amazing and saved me almost $200. I would recommend using a true locksmith to program and chop the key. If you're buying this Fob, then you will need both the remote and security functions programmed, so create sure your locksmith knows how to do both. Also hold in mind that a hardware shop and even some locksmiths only 'copy' the key cut, where others use a program from the vehicle manufacturer that cuts the key to specifications. I never thought of it, but it turns out if you're letting the key cutter use one of your old keys to do the cut, then they are just making a copy of it including the worn down areas, so you just end up getting a fresh worn down key. That's real of all key copying, which is something I will hold in mind when it comes to getting future keys cut.
I purchased this for my 2013 program my Truck to use this key, I had to use 2 methods, as you have to program both the key to work in the ignition and the buttons on the remote to Lock/Unlock your rst, to program the key to begin your Truck / Car, you need 2 working keys that both will begin your vehicle. My owners manual described this process. You have to place the first key in the ignition and turn it to the On position for 4-10 seconds. Turn to Off position and remove key. Place in second key and turn to On position for 6-10 seconds. At this point it should present your code to begin the doors if you have the 5 digit key pad on the drivers door. Turn to Off position and remove key. Place in the Fresh key (needs to be chop first) and turn to On position. This will program the fresh key to begin your vehicle. It should shop up to 8 at this point, my Truck would begin and run, and unblock the doors with the key. But it would not remotely unblock the cond, to program the remote buttons to Lock/Unlock the doors, my Truck needed this procedure. Your car could vary slightly. I don't know if the owners manual described this, but I found the instructions online. You obtain in the car and shut all doors. Then begin the drivers door and hit the unblock button on the door. Then place a key into the ignition and turn it from Off to On 8 times fairly quickly. On is the position right before you "start" the vehicle. You stop at the On position. The doors will lock and unblock when it is ready. Then you have 10 seconds to hit the Lock or Unblock button on the remote you wish to I could Lock and Unblock and Remote Begin my truck from the buttons on the ke sure to Up Vote this so that others can see now to create this key work.
I this key for my 2011 Ford fusion I need a remote key because it didn't come with the original Ford key I took it to the key they created a copy and program a remotethe remote works excellent have no issues with it and it's cheaper to the key so your car trust me if you go to a locksmith it will be charging you the key and the remote for hundreds of dollars the guy tried to charge me $200 to obtain the key and program the remote you better off buying the key on Amazon Dan take it to locksmith it will be true cheape only $45 for them to create a copy and program remote create sure you buying the right key for your vehicle
I bought this latest night and read it all this morning. I feel I have been given all the info I need to begin a mobile notary business. Very detailed but written in a clear and friendly, simple to read way. Reading this book before pursuing becoming a notary would be a intelligent move.
This book only has 46 pages (some are blank) and includes a brief explanation of different info found for in articles on the internet. There were a couple of points created that me appreciate getting the book, like tax-exemption for Notaries. . . . I'm just not sure this book is worth $22, more like $10.
I gave this book five stars because it was well written and very simple to understand for the novice or anyone entertaining the thought of becoming a Notary Public. This book was written in a manner in which I felt I was having private conversation with the author. For me personally, the book gave me a visual picture of a Notary Public and a day in the life of. The book gave amazing examples of how necessary laying a amazing foundation for is in building a successful business! If you are not fresh to the field of Notary then this book m at not be for you. I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to jump begin a Notary business!
the best launcher I've ever tried and I've tried a lot, the ads seem to be only in setting so non intrusive I've not been using it long so as long as I don't obtain pop up ads this is the excellent launcher it's simple to use without too much clutter ignore the negative reviews these are probably trolls, please don't modernize or spoil it it's totally fine the in built melody player and news feed are superb obtain rid of the unblock too simple to come out the launcher add a shortcut for android games though
i cant uninstall this application bc its included in my device's starting apps. My phone's battery for months drains so fast, I changed it thinking the issue was the battery, but the issue still so I checked my battery settings and i was surprised, Begin consumes up to 50% omg and I never used it. im disabled this application and my battery has a better duration now
it just gets on my way, even if i can "personalize it", its not like i cant personalize the entire phone if i know how to navigate a intelligent phone properly... maybe its amazing for people that need things even simpler... which is sad to think of, but hey... everyone has their thing...
The application came as bloatware with my phone and can't be removed. Despite having no permissions and being disabled it keeps showing up ads in the notification bar, self updating and being a nuisance. Bloatware is generally unwelcome but bloatware that contains ads everywhere in the phone is a fresh low for carriers/OEMs. I would give it a 0 if possible.
It's not very intuitive, it's slow and doesn't work fine when you have a lock because you still have to unblock your phone, either method it helps in some cases, but mostly it just slows down the unlocking process, overall I don't recommend the app, I tried to use it but the application is zero friendly, but anyone that wants to test it it is a must to not have a lock setting because of the application shortcuts
