MOTOPOWER MP00205A 12V 800mA Automatic Battery Charger, Battery Maintainer, Trickle Charger, and Battery Desulfator with Timer Protection []  2020-11-1 18:32

Here is an e-mail I sent to MotoPower customer help regarding the LED indicator, and never received a reply. One star off for the not good user interface design of the indicator, and one star off for not good customer support. I also see in other reviews that people are complaining of the light always being green. One person even complained he was charging a depleted battery for 3 days (with the light green), and no charge was being delivered. He found that on his charger, the red clip was incorrectly stamped as negative, and the black clip stamped as is my e-mail:Hello, I recently purchased the MOTOPOWER MP00205A 12V 800mA Battery Charger so that I can trickle charge my snowblower battery over the 7-8 months that it is not used. Set it up today and have a question:The battery was purchased early this winter, about 5 months ago, so it is relatively new. When I plug in the charger, the light turns green. When I then connect it to the battery, it stays green. I realize that means that it is fully charged, but how do you tell if the charger is installed properly? If I disconnect one or both of the terminal connectors, or even reverse the connectors, the indicator just stays green.I would have liked better feedback from the unit, i.e. the indicator would be off (or maybe yellow) until properly connected to the battery, at which point it would be green or pulsing green. If the clips were connected to the wrong terminals, I would have expected the indicator to be ems like the fact that you are using a green indicator for 2 various purposes (power on, or fully charged) is a problem. I could have the clips on the wrong terminals, or even have the plug that goes from the charger to the clips not properly seated, and think everything is working fine because the green light is how do I know the charger is working and is connected to the battery correctly? Thanks.

Use this to charge and maintain an H5 group-sized battery installed in an old Toyota with an aftermarket alarm system . The charger has red indicator for charging and steady green (flashing green for 'mostly charged') for fully-charged maintain mode. I had a second one sent to me from the seller due to the first one not ever getting past the flashing green mode. It got very hot, and occasionally did not even change from red to flashing-green modes, though the battery voltage was over 13.2V. I hold another brand charger in the garage, larger in size and current output, for backup and faster charging (if needed). It also has a 'float' mode. The seller was very amazing about replacing my first 'questionable' unit. If the first one worked like the second, I would have given 5 stars for my review. The second one works well. I drive the vehicle once a week and use this to check charge draw-down from alarm-system parasitic draw. The two-pronged sae adapter that goes to the battery, in my case, is permanently attached and tie-wrapped to the inner corner of the car's grille for fast charger connect and disconnect. I like the compact size of this unit. The 120v lead from the charger to the AC power outlet connection could be a foot or two longer in length; but otherwise, it is doing its job well, on a group H5 automotive battery. I had given this four stars, Unfortunately, about 6 weeks of writing this review, the second unit that was sent to me went into the same 'failure-type' mode as the first one. When it got to flashing green in less than a half hour it started to flash green with a fast red intermittently, followed by the flashing green again,..never getting to solid green float stage. I also smelled the silicon of the case/electronics from more than 10ft away. The case was abnormally hot, which (like I suspected of the first unit), usually points to an internal burnt electronic component. I'm still giving it two stars since it maybe reliable enough to handle smaller-sized batteries. I went to my backup 750ma 'other brand' trickle charger that went to float scene green in under 30mins.

UPDATE 2: I was able to contact company through Amazon and report my problems with the dead charger. They did my but I’m still out a $100 of my own pocket from the battery that it killed. Because of the I’m raising my review to 2-star. You’ll have to decide for yourself if it’s worth The risk.UPDATE 1: After just 2 months (outside my return period!) the charger is now completely dead. Won’t power on and worse - when it died it drained my battery completely - killing it. So a $15 charger that everyone just thinks “if it goes poor I’m only out $15” ended up killing a $100 deep cycle battery. Stay away from this one, you might think your saving money, but mine took along a $100 battery with it. I guess you really do obtain what you for.1st review:So far it’s been great, I use to hold my enclosed trailer battery topped off. It also completely disconnects itself when it looses power so it won’t back-drain the battery. But other reviewers have had issues with this so we will see how long it works, but so far I’m satisfied with my purchase.

I purchased two of these - sending back - on the same battery I obtain two various readings from the indicator light. The graphic on the front is not how it works (or does not work in my case). I compared this with the B&D and FOVAL and this does not seem to charge quick nor does it top off the batteries (stops before 12V).

I had this tender on my 1959 Cadillac Coupe Deville. Everything was fine, until it wasn't and I found battery acid all over the engine compartment of my classic car. The acid was also all over the ground and even managed to obtain on the inside of my vehicle cover. I thought it was a coolant leak so naturally I removed the cover, not knowing the battery acid had blown out the front grill and the inside of my vehicle ess what happens next? When I removed the vehicle cover, it got on the hood of my vehicle and literally burned my pe, wouldn't again. It's sad because I have gone through at least 4 Deltran battery tender Jr's. But hey, at least they don't overcharge the battery... they just stop working all together.

You obtain what you for. I've always used battery tenders on all my batteries. I usually use either the Battery Tender brand or Schumacher. I saw these on Amazon and figure I would test them, the reviews were mixed. I'm sorry I didn't stick with the name brands. As soon as I plugged one it to my ATV battery the light immediately went green, like the battery was fully charged. I didn't think anything of it as I figured it was charged. After a month or so of unplugging it and plugging it back in the light was always green. My other tenders would almost always go into charging mode after I use the I plugged it into an old ATV battery that I knew was not fully charged and the light immediately went to green. Something is wrong name brand when it comes to a battery tender.

I like this small charger; I use it to hold charged the battery on my inverter generator. Not doing so, has resulted in having to replace the battery.I hardly use the generator, sometimes I turn it on, but it is far and between, that's the reason I decided to obtain the continuous charger.I was a bit concern about some reviewers saying that their batteries were at had happened to me before with rechargeable batteries for my tools. The only thing that I can recommend is to use a timer together with a power strip outlet and connect everything that needs to be a charged. For example, I have the timer for my tools set up for 4 hours a day; It doesn’t create sense to have the chargers running 24/7 if the batteries are not being sed on that experience, I also connected this battery charger to the e unit is varied primary and hopefully works similarly to the brand Battery Tender, which has become excessively expensive.I just installed a fresh battery in the generator, the battery charger was charging (red Light) for the first 30 minutes, and then the light turned to green (battery maintenance).Time will only tell, if something goes wrong, I will modernize my reviewAttached please search the pictures of the box and the instruction manual. Here's my tale:After a couple of months of driving my vehicle barely once a week during the COVID-19 isolation orders, my 2018 Honda Accord wouldn't start. Tried a jump begin from wife's 2002 Honda Civic - still no go. yikes! Got out the decent quality multi-meter I have - less than 8 volts, from a 12V battery. Double yikes! Checked the electrolyte - whoa, one of the six cells had exposed plates. Well, that fairly well explains the very low volts. Topped it up to the line, then tried jump begin again...yep, triple yikes.Well, I had plenty of time on my hands being furloughed, so I ordered this small unit. Inexpensive, but it created appropriate promises for what it can do, for what it costs. Ratings good. Some horrible though. Took the 800mA, this is not going to charge a 500Ah vehicle battery quickly. I hooked it up and monitored the voltage for several days. Weather was rather warm, 80's to 90's F, and I noticed this small device getting beautiful darned hot - too hot, in fact.Disconnected it and took off the back plate. Board very hot to touch, capacitor and transformer too hot to touch. Poor design! This thing needs to either be potted with a non-conductive heat sink material for full contact with the inside of the case, or the case needs vents. Period. That much heat will toast those components over time. Real - I was asking the device for all it had - to charge a beautiful deeply discharged 12V high amp capacity battery. Which isn't _per se_ its intended function. Still though.I decided to DIY. Took a drill and drilled four holes in the back plate, and two holes on each side, see photos. Pretty? Not on your life. Crude but fairly effective? Yes indeed, at least, it allowed _some_ of that heat to dissipate.Eventually there was enough charge to begin the car, took it for a long drive, then hooked it up again to see if it would complete the full cycle - which it did after another day. It eventually hit the couple of voltage marks to go into absorption mode, then into float mode. Highly accurate too - 14.19v - still absorption mode. 14.20v - boom, float mode. r twenty bucks, it did what I wanted - and most importantly, what I _expected_ - unlike some of the reviews that complain it took days to charge their battery...well duh! It puts out less than an amp, expecting a quick charge from a slow charge device is just....at said - please guys - create the 'slotted' sides into true slots, to allow some air flow through it. I realize it adds a small to the manufacturing costs, but people will obtain a longer life out of their (admittedly tiny) investment in this - and maybe fewer will die out in the field, eliciting poor for me, I'm very satisfied with it - because it met my expectations.

My plant uses batteries for several powered devices. One of our batteries on a charger blew up so I had to search a safer system. I got all AGM batteries and selected NOCO G1500 chargers. We hold a spare battery on the charger to switch out. We've installed plugs on the equipment and battery chargers with friends on each battery so the batteries are modular. Had I gone with a lower amp charger I could have used the NOCO connections to create a attractive system but I required faster charge times so I required the bigger chargers. IF NOCO created this device for the G15000 chargers and I would have had a excellent system.

I have a harley vrod night rod unique and has a very tough battery location. It was chore every time to hook up a trickle charger. But now with this hooked up. I can hook this up like I charge my phone. No need to remove my air box or do any mods. Cherry on top of the cake is it tells you the % of the charge which gives me peace of mind too.

I really don't understand why they would out on the wire gauge. I'm using it to extend my charger from my wall to my vehicle for fast connect but I noticed the charger cannot send enough current through the wire and my G7200 would constantly restart and take additional long to charge to full. I was able to monitor the current using my Klien Tools amp meter and it showed that the battery was only charging at 5amps instead of 7amps!The fix was to use OFC 14awg speaker wires to extend the cable instead of using Noco's [email protected]#$% thin wire. After crimping up the connectors to some real sized wires I'm having zero problems charging the battery to full and the G7200 no longer resets or charges at a slower rate.

This SAE Connector DOES NOT WORK with the GB40. Why does Amazon pair this as a pack with the GB40? I purchased this to use the SAE Connector to my existing SAE Connector off my battery. This is a Ducati Multistrada motorcycle with a SHORAI Lithium battery. The fitment of the battery is very tight and the provided NOCO clamps will not fit. AND.. The convenience of being able to jump the bike without having to remove the seat would have been ideal..But.. WTH? It doesn’t connect. As shown in the provided pictures.. The connectors are is was a ripoff, now I have a worthless SAE extension. Thanks Amazon/NOCO.(Not sure who to blame Amazon or NOCO for this as a package/compatible with the e correct adapter for the GB40 to SAE Connector for Jumpstarting is the GBC009.

It doesn’t even connect, it has various plugs. This was a ripoff, no I have a worthless extension. The unit itself still deserve a amazing rating but not this extension, not sure who to blame Amazon or NOCO for trying to this with the GB40.I bought this along with the GB40, haven't had to use it yet but just wished the wires were a small more thicker. Amazing add-on in case you need to cover more distance.

I purchased the NOCO Genius GC002 connector for a portable solar panel project for my travel trailer. I like the well created battery eyelet terminals along with the inline blade fuse holder. I installed an SAE panel flange plug on the top of my battery box and chop off the factory NOCO connector and soldered the two cables together using solder seal butt connectors. Now I can connect the trailer wires along with the solar plug when the battery is installed and secure the lid. No more having to remove the lid in to connect the battery alligator clamps that come with most portable solar panels. If I had to do over I would the XL eyelets since I had to drill the existing holes larger so that the would fit over battery terminal studs. Total cost for project was less than $20.00 to have a convenient plug for my solar panel connection not to mention other 12 volt products I can now easily connect directly to my battery to charge or utilize a little air compressor or power inverter.

I purchased two of these, one for my John Deere 2305 and another for my Polaris ranger. they are working great. it is so much more convenient to plug into the dash than to begin the hood to attach the clamps.

NOCO GC009 X-Connect SAE Adapter Accessory For NOCO Genius Smart Battery Chargers []  2020-1-29 13:19

I bought this adapter so I could connect my NOCO Genius Battery Charger without having to take off the motorcycle battery side-cover every time, to charge the battery during winter. This is a really nice adapter. Simply plug the NOCO charger into this adapter, then plug the adapter into the SAE plug that I have permanently wired to the bike. No covers to mess with anymore. It's simply a matter of plugging the charger to this adapter, the adapter to the bike, and the charger to the wall plug...done in 30 seconds. :-) The connections are tight, they when connected, & they only go on one way. No wondering about reversed polarity, etc. I recommend this adapter if you have an SAE plug on your bike.

Love having the ability to attach via SAE although we think this thing should be included, its just the hassle of having to something else to add to what you just bought to complete your task. I was tempted to create my own SAE adapter easily with what they sent but did not wish to void any warranties. Works as expected but we are wondering why this "adapter" unlike the "dual-purpose" one that came with the G3500, doesn't have an in-line fuse?FYI, if you appear to have only received (1) cable with your unit, LOOK closely, the alligator clips have nuts on the cable connections, this allows you to take the "ring" connectors off of the alligator clips and use them on the battery, hope that helps someone.

Does not Latest long. Over the years I have purchased about 10 different size and voltage battery tenders. I have purchased 4 or 5 of these smaller 12v 750 mA chargers to hold our different motorcycles and UTV batteries charged at 2 various locations. They all work for about a year or maybe 18 months and then they simply die. The product is now cheaply made, and very light weight compared to the older ones that I purchased and are still working. Quality and reliability of these newer, lighter weight little chargers are very disappointing and I no longer recommend this brand. I have finally had enough of buying these chargers and will start to ship them back to the manufacturer under warranty - what a hassle. Save yourself the aggravation of a failed unit that you have to ship back at your own cost and a various brand. Battery tender is not what it used to be! They give you a amazing warranty period but I would have to think that because you have to for shipping they are counting on people just disposing of them rather than retuning them. I would have to say that it has consistently been one of my worst and I will stop buying this brand going forward.

This is the ubiquitous Battery Tender Jr., manufactured by Deltran. There are quite a few float charger type products out there that bill themselves as "battery tenders" but the actual product name of this is "Battery Tender Jr." - they have other Battery Tender products, including one with higher charging output, and one with more outputs for charging multiple batteries. But let's first obtain back to basics: what is a float charger, and why is it needed?Lead-acid batteries, of the type used in vehicles and motorcycles, lose a part of their charge over time just sitting when they aren't even connected to something. When left in a bike that has a clock or radio memory circuit in it that constantly draws power even when the bike is off, that loss of charge is even faster.Lead-acid batteries "like" to remain at full charge at all times. A battery that is kept at full charge will have a much longer service life than a battery that is left sitting with less than a full charge.I used to go through a lot of batteries - my motorcycle batteries would latest between one and two years before they required replacement. With multiple motorcycles (not to mention other battery powered things like a generator, snow blower, etc.) this gets expensive!I figured I would place a trickle (float) charger on my main GL1100 battery to support hold it fully charged. I bought a trickle charger from Harbor Freight, for under $10. I hooked it up to the battery and left it sitting overnight. The next day, to my utter surprise, the battery was dead! The trickle charger, with no intelligence in it and no method of turning off when the battery was charged, overcharged the battery, destroying it! I could charge it fully, but its plates were sulfated, and it would no longer produce enough current to begin the bike. This was an expensive lesson - and taught me about the false economy of Harbor Freight float chargers! So it was with a bit of trepidation that I tried the Battery Tender Jr. - I didn't really wish to throw another $100 down the drain for another fresh battery. The difference with the Battery Tender products is that they are intelligent: they have computers inside that analyze the state of charge of the battery to which they are connected, and alter their output to adjust: Initialization, Bulk Charge Mode, Absorption Mode, Float Mode). The result: I'm still using that battery five years later, and it still works like it is brand new. I was so impressed that I bought more: I now own five Battery Tender Jr.'s, and they are connected to all of my bikes and devices, 24/7. Every time I park my bike, I plug it in. I have not had a single battery go poor in the five years since I have started using Battery Tenders - and every battery still performs like it is brand e Battery Tender Jr. comes with a 12 foot cord and a plug. This plug then attaches to one of two included connectors: a set of alligator clips, for temporary attachment to a battery, or a set of ring terminals, for permanent attachment. I use the ring terminals, then feed the other end of the connector up through the bike somewhere where it can be hidden. In my wife's PC800, the connector hides behind the right passenger footpeg. In my GL1500, it hides in the left passenger cubby. When I park the bike, I simply flip begin the cubby, plug in the Battery Tender, and I know the battery is protected and e Battery Tender is designed to be beautiful much indestructible. You can hook it up backwards to the battery, and nothing will happen. You can begin the bike with it connected, no problem, it simply turns itself off. It's spark proof, and has an indicator light that flashes and changes color to tell you the state of your battery, and what it is doing to manage it. It has a five year warranty, which I have not had to e Battery Tender works amazing on standard flooded wet-cell lead-acid batteries, as well as AGM (absorption glass mat) batteries. If you have a gel-cell battery, there is a various ver that has programming to work properly with them. And you can now obtain accessories that plug into the Battery Tender vehicle-side connector when the Battery Tender is not connected. These provide USB charging outputs and 12 volt cigarette lighter-style power ports to let you to plug your electronic devices into your vehicle. See more about these accessories here: Battery Tender USB Charger and 12 volt SocketOverall, this is one of my favorite products, they work amazingly well, hold your batteries in top shape, and cost less than a quarter of the cost of a single fresh battery. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I ordered 2 of the 021-0123 Battery Tender Juniors. They arrived on time, I unpacked one of the 2, hooked leads up to the vehicle battery, plugged in the charger and watched the light as I created the final connection. Everything went as the manual said it would. I was waxing the vehicle as the charger was doing it's thing and after about 15 mins the charger started "clicking" and died. I unplugged it and waited a few minutes, plugged it back in, and nothing. I unpacked the 2nd 021-0123 Battery Tender Junior, intended for my motorcycle, plugged it in and it lasted maybe 15 seconds and did the same "clicking" thing and died. The replacement process went smooth but I have not received the fresh ones yet.

Got this on my mechanic’s recommendation when my 1-yr old battery died after our having accidentally leaving the headlights on for an hour. Though the auto parts shop tech tested it under load and declared it good, my mechanic was skeptical. He told me he used Battery Tender on all his cars which are stored outside and he hasn’t bought a battery in years. Amazing enough for me.I typically a fresh battery every 3 years for about $150. Ditto for our lawn tractor. The pickup’s battery is 8 years old—a miracle. All of our cars suffer from the same issue which we cannot resolve because we don’t drive much: too a lot of stop and go trips to let the alternator to ever fully charge the , if we could some Battery Tenders for $25/vehicle and maybe never have to another battery, that would work for us. I bought 4: one for each of the above cars and one for our marine battery. What I Like:1. It saved my vehicle battery. When I first plugged it in, it stayed red for about 12 hours meaning the battery was under 80% charged even though I had driven 40 miles on interstates since getting a jump. It did go solid green meaning the battery was fully charged.2. It is simple to install. It comes with two options for connecting the tender to your vehicle’s battery: alligator clips and round connectors. The former are amazing for temporary connections and the latter preferable for permanent ones. All of ours are connected via the round connectors. See the first image for a picture of how it is connected to our truck. The second shows the tender plugged into the outlet.3. Once your battery is fully charged and the light on the tender is solid green, it continuously monitors your battery and trickle charges it to maintain it at 100-103%.4. With our kind of driving where we don’t drive 30+ miles before stopping and turning off the engine, when we come home and plug in we are solid red, but in less than 10 mins we are solid green. This tells me the tender is indeed keeping our batteries fully charged, something our alternators can’t do because we don’t drive enough before turning off the engine. What I Don’t Like:1. The chart showing you which Battery Tender is right for you says “trucks” need a much beefier model. I consulted our mechanic and he told me that “trucks” really refers to huge trucks, that is, not a pickup or anything you’d search in someone’s driveway. I was very grateful for his advice, but was unhappy with Battery Tender’s tom Line:This is a amazing product and may hold you from ever having to another battery for your vehicles. It is simple to install. If you have a pickup, just the Junior Tender. Yours is not a truck as viewed by the manufacturer.

Bought a pair of the Tender Jr. in 2012. I'm sure they have for themselves by maximizing the life of my expensive lead-acid batteries. There are plenty of reviews here proving that this is a quality product that has been around a long time. I want to add that the company that makes Battery Tender products, Deltran, stands by their products. One of my "Juniors" recently stopped working after four years of continuous service. I emailed the company and received a prompt reply. I returned the unit and received a brand fresh replacement covered under their 5-year warranty. You can't go wrong with this product or company.Edit: For those considering this product... It is not a battery charger. It is for maintaining fully charged batteries. There are some negative reviews from folks that did not realize what they were buying.

Battery Tender Junior Charger and Maintainer: Automatic 12V Powersports Battery Charger and Maintainer for Motorcycle, ATVs, and More - Smart 12 Volt, 750mA Battery Float Chargers - 021-0123 []  2020-5-23 18:20

Ordered it on 05/21/2016. The product arrived within a couple of days. Connected to my motorcycle battery immediately after a ride - when the battery was fully charged. The charging light on the Battery Tender indicated that it is fully charging, which was odd - I expected it to recognize a fully charged battery and go into a "maintenance mode". OK, I thought, perhaps my battery is not fully charged. I have left the battery tender on, overnight. The next morning it is still showing "full charging mode", the battery is boiling. I have measured the voltage, it was 13.6V.I have waited several days and repeated the experiment - same result.I have sent an E-mail to on 05/27/2016 reporting the issue and asking for their response as of 06/06/ted the return process through Amazon today.

Paid for itself the first use. cidentally killed a brand fresh vehicle battery leaving a stereo hooked up in a vehicle that sat for two weeks.Drained that sucker down to 4 volts. :-0Once a vehicle battery is at 9v or lower, common knowledge is it has to be replaced. But sometimes newer batteries can be arently the key to saving a drained fresh battery is to trickle charge it back to life very slowly.I allow the tender charge it for a couple hours, unplugged it and finished charging the next ttery took a full 13 volts and holds it well!Yay battery saved! If I would have jumped a battery that low it would have killed the battery and possibly the ing saved me like 80 bucks en I replaced a battery in another car, and found it wasn't quite charged all the method brand arently even fresh batteries should be trickle charged before the first use to prolong the ought that one from 12.4 to 13.0 volts in a couple hours.I haven't even got to it's intended use yet, which is to maintain a charged battery for long periods of is could break tomorrow, and I'd still feel I've got my money's worth and another one.

This is a piece of junk. Lasted less then 2 months and quit working. I didn’t even use it very much, but plugged in in one day latest week and nothing. If they are no better than this, and created in China anyway, I might as well the ones from Harbor Freight. These are Battery Tender in name only, don’t waste your money.

This thing is NOT 30,000mAH folks. I should have realized it when I saw the product weight and dimensions. More like 10,000mAH and the solar panel is too little to create a difference in any reasonable amount of time.

Hi, I bought this power bank due to the latest one I had I forgot it on a trip to Panama. I have not gotten into a trip with this fresh power bank; this means I have not had the ultimate try during a travel week. I’ve used it since late December (almost a month) and I just had to charge it once. It has charged itself. My daughter and wife have used it as a power light and it does light very well. Better than a searchlight we used to have in our (1rst aid kit). Charging time to my iPhone 8 takes almost 30-40 min. My wife’s iPhone 10 plus takes a bit longer (1 hr). Personally I love the tough look the power bank has and I bet it will be of amazing support once we obtain camping!

I bought this power bank because it has huge capacity and solar charge = It charges itself under the sun. I have not gotten into a trip with this fresh power bank - this means I have not had the ultimate try yet. However, my daughter and I have used it as a power light and it does light very well, better than a searchlight we used to have. Charging time to my iPhone 6s completed almost 30-40 min, my daughter’s iPhone XR takes a bit longer, closes to an hour. Personally, I love the tough look the power bank has, the bright small LED light, a compass and I bet it will be of amazing support once we obtain on trip!

The solar panel was a bit smaller than I expected but was honestly not a issue for my little electricity project. I built a solar powered wooden vehicle for my Electricity Primary Fundamentals class final project and IT WORKED GREAT! Very simple to strip and solder wires together and build circuits for little scale projects. Compared to other flimsy and sensitive solar panels that I’ve purchased in the past, this was by far the best! Very durable and strong...TOTALLY RECOMMEND!

I ordered the panels for elementary students to hook up LED lights. We required to connect two panels to light up one bulb. That was not a issue but it would have been easier if alligator clips would have been attached by the factory.

I bought 2x1.5V 400mA power solar cells for my son's science project. It is rated with 1.5V/400mA and 0.65W peak power. I carefully connected them together and optimized load resistance to be 100ohm, but it generated only 0.1W under the direct sun from 2 solar cell units, 50mW each. Very disappointing. only 10% of its own spec.

I wanted to create a radio that could be used if there was a disaster and no batteries or electrical power were available. I did not wish to used rechargeable batteries because they have a storage lifespan. I created a easy radio using a MK484 IC which uses either a high impedance crystal radio earpiece or a 2000 ohm headset. This solar panel performs very well and puts out exactly what the seller claims. The radio works beautifully. I've been using it for several weeks now and I'm quite satisfied. I highly recommend this panel as a reliable source of solar electricity.

Would uninstall if not for the need for tickets on app. Updates change notification settings, so android games are spoiled. Additionally, all notifications turned off and I just got an update.
