After playing this android game for a few months I can say it's a amazing android game but I would recommend Downwell a lot more. Related shooter with upgrades and such as well but with a special gunboot android game mechanic to hold you on your toes. I'd say buy both and decide for yourself.

For a android game that can be played in short spurts, why is there no method to save your spot so you can leave then come back to the game? A solid android game will still go over 40min. This gets a 4 star until after its added in otherwise you're forced to reset after going to work on other things for a while.

This android game is a lot of fun. You war waves of opponents with the fighting/action related to a shoot-em-up. The bosses are parodies of celebrities which is how it gets is name. The waves and boss order are random and you collect various random power-ups as you play which gives it is rogue-like qualities.

So, the latest time I played this game, I lost 1 power up and 2 health pickups AND took 3 hits from projectiles from a dead boss in the level after I killed him because he literally fired so much crap constantly, that it lagged out my galaxy note 4. Fix the lag problems and I'll fix the rating. There should never be so much crap on the screen that it makes the android game un-playable due to lag.

I like how random things can obtain -- the enemies, bullet types and bosses are randomized every run. Though my only gripe is that the red glowing border visual result that appears when your hero is about to die in one hit. It's really distracting and makes it harder to dodge bullets especially those colourful red. Maybe it's intentional being an example "interface screw" trope but maybe it would be better in my opinion if the red border was toned down a small especially for smaller screens?

Amazing android game even now. Original take on the shmup genre with some random regeneration and therefore playability, the characters pixel graphics and mad cap weapons really create it stand out from rest. Starts slow but progression should be manageable for newbies and challenging when you obtain a few rounds in for the more manic shmup'er aided by smooth Movement and controls. It needs one latest huge modernize for perfection tho! Few fresh celeb characters opponents and weapons along with a few fresh patterns and new backgrounds shooting stars 2.0

Seems like a fun android game but I am getting a lot of slowdown on my Note 4. A lot more than there should be there for a 2d game. It is almost unplayable in later levels. Will give more stars if I can play the android game without a slideshow. This problem has been here since begin over a month ago, and there has been no response from the creator. From 5* to 1* in a few days. Android game is unplayable. Everyday online challenge is no longer available, sits there with an hourglass. Offline option is there but doesn't work, just shows a "doing amazing things" message. Avoid.

I love this game! It's a amazing small time waster. However, I ran into a doozy of a glitch: after collecting a lot of power-ups I suddenly lost all of my shooting power, and all of the small superfoods I acquired after stayed stuck on the screen with every level I progressed. Bummer!

I'm really disappointed with this title by Noodlecake, their other android games are much better by comparison. For a 3 dollar title, there's not enough to do and the power ups aren't exciting. By comparison, Punch Quest is a free game and it has much more going for it.

Briefly reminds me of Zone Invaders but with a modern polish. Full freedom of movement over the entire screen for frantic dodging of opponents & their missles. The power ups are wacky silly fun and the pop-culture digs raise a smile. Recommended.

I created it all the method to the end, and it stopped. Now every time I play, the android games force closes when I obtain a powerup. I love this game, but this bug is killing it. Please fix! And i will change my rating.

Hilarious bosses and dialogue. It's missing a progress reward system, but the global leaderboards support create up for it. Creative power weapons are great, but upgrading the main weapon feels like it happens a small late in the run. Excellent amount of additional hearts and difficulty curve though. All in all, a nearly brilliant effort.
