I liked several of the entries in this book, but found it overall to be a small judgmental and political at times. I have never seen that before or in this type of book so it was a small disappointing. You can give hope and share the word without a private agenda.
Such a inspirational book and I just love these stories and the notice with each one. Read a story or two everyday just to uplift your outlook for the day. During these crazy times of the world, everyone needs some inspiring stories. Thank you Jan White for sharing your talents with us all. Also, this book was free for me to read with my kindle unlimited so it was a win-win.
Probably the worst thing these guys have place out. The first song is good, the second decent, the rest range from "meh" to "wow, this song beautiful much sucks". It's like they didn't place the required effort into this project. It's filled with low-effort, blase collaborations with other musicians instead of typical stooopid grooves. Looking to test on some Slightly Stoopid for size? Check out their other items like Chronichitis, slightly not stoned..., top of the world, closer to the sun. This is one of my favorite bands and so it hurts me to say this: This one is kind of a turd. Don't buy it.
How do I describe this album? The base sound and style is somewhat reggae, but there's a definite vein of the LA community running through it. I've heard their style compared to the East LA style of Sublime, and that's a fair comparison, but Slightly Stoopid has that 100% LA sound immersed in a wash of the Caribbean.I love it, and I think you will too.
I started listening to these guys via Pandora and since that moment I have been enamored with their diversity, creativativty , and vibes. This album is awesome and a testament to their already stellar catalogue. I encourage anyone, no matter what genre you typically fancy, to give it a listen. Check them out live on the School's Out tour when it comes to your city! Their fans rule!!
My review is for the vinyl record. Amazing band and amazing music. Not good quality pressing (record was warped). I ordered this record once and Amazon placed the record in the same box as another item that I purchased that weighed 20+ pounds. Needless to say the heavier item crushed that record. I returned it and the replacement that was sent was damaged (record #2 of the 2 record set was warped). I ordered a replacement again and that replacement was also damaged (once again record #2 was warped). I figure it must have been not good quality control/assurance at the pressing plant. Im giving up on attempting to purchase this album with this vendor.
I couldn’t wait for this book to be delivered and I was not disappointed! This is the tarot book for you if you wish practical & modern interpretations of the cards. The illustrations are cute & fun. I love the journal type questions after each chapter, I search they really support me apply the meanings of the cards to my own life. VERY happy with this purchase!
Love this app. So glad I ran across it. Even paid to make batter to the full application with added features and no ads. I have an issue/question though. Why do the three menu stuff with a candle icon (Morning & Evening, Prince of Preachers, and Quotes) only begin my Fb app. They do nothing else but begin Facebook. Is there and fix for this? Five stars if this was fixed.
This has been a true blessing to me. I highly recommend it, and I also recommend that you spend the additional few bucks for the scripture verse index. It's been worth far more than the price. It's now three years later and I still love this app. The weekly sermon option is a continual reminder to stay in the word, and I often look up sermons on difficult passages I'm studying. The scripture index option is especially useful for this. Spurgeon was one of God's most remarkable servants. Obtain this app!
This application is such a blessing. All the fine and heart-touching Spurgeon sermons can be found in here, the layout is amazing and you can either highlight where you stopped reading or if you would like to draw your attention towards any specific phrase. this application is a blessing indeed.
I have been most blessed encouraged and instructed through the word of God as presented by Charles spurgeon's. His teachings are very valid even for today's Society. Challenging the best Bible scholars, and still given with simplicity and love, to the uninformed kid in Christ.
With populations growing and human density increasing, urban planners look to ways of making town life more agreeably comfortable. Architect David Sims who has trained in Scotland and Scandinavia, tackles the issue of transforming crowded urban locations into convivial soft cities. Within ten chapters of text strongly reinforced with diagrams, graphics, illustrations, and photos, the author persuasively explains and describes how urban centers can be designed to enhance neighborliness through cohesion with diversity through a shared identity. Urban mobility is another factor where residents interact with cycles, pedestrians, public vehicles, autos, wheelchairs, and other transportation means; these interactive modes demand focused designs to let the interactions to take place. This beautifully planned book, with its chapters graced with eye appealing basic colors of blue and sun yellow, emphasize the need for urban planners and town residents to seek essential criteria when developing our densely peopled cities. Such measures contain thoughts of the human scale, flexibility, diversity of outdoor locations and built forms, a sense of identity and control, walkability, human scale, microclimate, increased biodiversity, and especially for our times, a smaller carbon footprint. Filled with stimulating ideas for improving our living urban environment, this book should excite the reader with its potential promises.
I saw this book at Box Lunch and it was at the time when I really wanting to obtain into tarot reading. When I originally glanced at it, knowing nothing about tarot, I thought that it seemed like a amazing method to start to read/pull for myself and support introduce me to the globe of readings. Now that I am getting my feet wet, I found that it's just a beginners tarot dictionary. It's really cutesy with illustrations, and it gives primary definitions/descriptions of the cards, but it doesn't really teach you much. There's a few pages where you write down your thoughts, a page where it kinda "tests" your memory of certain cards, and there are a few pages that go over a couple various spreads, but it doesn't really support with explanations of cards reversed, what the cards can symbolize in different scenarios, etc. I found other books that were better for learning, and I'm disappointed with this one because it's really such a cute book. In a nutshell, you can pass up on this book and you're not missing anything.
I like this application a lot. However I purchased the Pro ver the day before yesterday and it still hasn't been activated in the app. Please check urgently. God bless, Steven My problem wws resolved with support from Support. Thank you very much. 🙂👍🏼
Splendid. A wonderful, well-designed application containing all of Spurgeon's thousands of sermons with a lot of other features besides. Spurgeon has a winning combination of teaching the unchanging truth of God's Word with a healthy dose of His neverending grace without compromising either. If you long for truly Biblical teaching, you'll love this app. Devs are very responsive, which is a huge plus also. Well worth the purchase price.
It's a nice resource, but annoyingly there are gaps in the middle of texts, which are only noticeable because the sentence makes no sense. E.g. in sermon #582 there are three such gaps, where the texts reads "that he does be", "he comes tive" and "in truth, the tation" - showing words have been chop in half, and there's no knowing how much is missing. I also search the Americanised spelling a bit annoying, seeing as Spurgeon was English, but that's a little thing. But I search it helpful to be able to change the font size, and being able to find either by date or title - although it would be nice if searching by passage would also be included in the free version...
Very fresh to Tarot! I love this guidebook, it is very trendy-teen (obviously) but it gives clear and simple interpretations of each card, and amazing spread tutorials! The illustrations are gorgeous and mystical as well! I think it'd create a amazing gift!
i hate the voice and it is read so quick i can hardly understand it. ine recommendation was to change the TTS settings. no idea where that is. Didnt search it under general settings nor google settings, nor the application settings. also I would REALLY like to pause without the sermon starting over. anyway to do that??
I have been suffering from o.c.d.(very mild) almost all my life .Never realized it until about 5 years ago. i have had some depression lately. This recent sermon I watch ..on depression.. was a life saver.I am amazed that a sermon preached in 1914 was able to profoundly touch and heal ( by Gods grace)a hurting soul in 2019.God is amazing.
